Ulasan Park Inn Kunming Airport

Upon arrival at airport, contacted the hotel for shuttle service to pick up. The message where to go and look for the shuttle service car are clear if you understand Chinese. The front counter staff is helpful and friendly. With her direction guided, we managed to find some nice and quick foods for dinner at nearby street. The next day departure shuttle service was also arrange in advance. In the morning, the front counter staff also ring us up to remind for the pick up timing.

Chose this hotel to sleep in when arriving at Kunming airport at 2am. Free pick-up was about all it has going for it. Service was weird. Calling them on the phone to get the driver to pick me up was unnecessarily unhelpful. I had to ask the airport concierge to speak to them to get them to understand I couldn't add them on WeChat can they just give me the exact location of the car/pick-up point. Then, at front desk, I was told my check-in with a passport would take some time, so they were going to check in the local guest behind me first. I am a solo female traveller at 2.30am, being made to go after some weird bloke who kept trying to talk to me. Don't think the front desk understands what kind of inconvenience they were putting me through and what safety means. Farewell the next morning at check-out was perfunctory. The room also smelt badly of cigarettes and the bathroom flooded when I took a shower.

Our flight arrived at 2 am, we prearranged for the hotel to pick us up. There was a bit of confusion about the location of meeting in the airport parking lot. I don't know why the driver didn't meet us at the arrival hall. The rooms are in good condition. The breakfast was good. It being spring the garden in the hotel was blooming.

Its a good hotel and they have free transport to the airport.you also can arrange to travel to city center and cost about 120 cny

Hotel is quite near the airport and we were able to get the airport travel concierge to call the hotel to pick us up from the airport. Hotel is near some eateries and convenience shops. The room is very comfortable and the toilet clean. However the screen for the toilet needs to be changed as it is falling to bits. Water pressure is also good. The beds are comfortable. We also booked with the front desk a free shuttle back to the airport at midnight. We were quite happy with our stay. They had a nice garden at the back .

The staff in Park Inn are helpful and the free shuttle services provided by the hotel is very good. The hotel send the free shuttle for me during midnight when I landed in Kunming at 1:35am. I am gladful that the hotel shared their Wechat account to allow me to communicate with the hotel without any extra mobile roaming cost. I hope TRIP.COM can give the Wechat account of the hotels that allow non Chinese hotel guests to contact the hotels when needed as most of the foreigners might not having China phone number.

Convenient, staff is supportive, near the airport - good choice for people who have early flight or transit overnight in Kunming. They deliver you to the airport free, just inform the staff several hours before you go

Good as for stay transit in Kunming. The service was good. And the room was so big. Every hours has shuttle van to airport. Nice !

The staff were really nice and helpful and there is a free shuttle service to and from the airport (you need to call the hotel directly to arrange this, best to ask a Chinese speaker to help you if your Chinese isn’t very good). The staff will also give you a wake-up call if you have an early morning flight and need their shuttle service. The location is great for access to the airport and the room was clean and has everything you for a short stay. There was a street food market near the hotel when we stayed (turn right heading out of the hotel, keep walking, across the road). Would stay again.

Extremely good service. I can't find any fault with this hotel other than it would have been better if they had a desk for travellers to do a bit of work on their laptop, in the rooms.

The hotel is close to the airport, perfect for late arrivals or very early departure. The bed it’s huge!! On a negative note: They offer a free shuttle to the airport, and the departure time can be discussed based on individual needs. Honestly I wish the personnel to be less pushy. In our case we agreed to meet downstairs and leave by 6:00. The shuttle pick up point is in front of the hotel so there is no much preparation needed in advance. I woke up at 5:30, my bag was done, all I wanted to do was to take a quick shower to start my day after a not-so-long sleep. Yet I got interrupted many times while I was preparing because the personnel would keep calling/knocking at the door ( I even forgot my charging cables and toothbrush there 😕). I understand they care about having everyone on time, but this is too much!! You feel being treated like a kid. Honestly I’d rather take a taxi next time, and pay for it. The airport is really 10-15 min far away, so not a big deal!!!
