Very clean hotel, friendly staff, great service. Location is fantastic, right next to a central railway station, so it’s easy to travel around Kyoto.
The only downside is about laundry room, it is there, however only 2 washing machines are there. For 3 days I was not able to use those. People get in the cue 1 hour (!!!) in beforehand to get the spot which I consider a disaster.
Smoking room is near the entrance outside. Clean and convenient too. Wi-fi fast and easy to use.

I had a fantastic experience staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station. The location is unbeatable, right across from Kyoto Station (near Shinkansen), making it incredibly easy to explore the city and access public transportation. The convenience of being so close to the station made my travel and sightseeing plans very efficient.
From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated the signature warm cookie—a nice touch! My room was modern, well-appointed, and very clean, with comfortable bedding that made for a restful night after a long day of exploring.
I highly recommend DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Station for its perfect location, friendly service, and comfortable accommodations. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto!

I stayed here for 4 nights. Got a smoking room initially (because I booked that by mistake) but staff was helpful to give me an alternate option quickly. Room sizes were pretty decent. I could see shinkasen tracks from window which proved to be pretty helpful to keep my 2 year old busy for some time. Location was ok. Close to kyoto station but on the south side which is a little dull. Hotel looked newly built and staff was warm. Breakfast had japanese and western options. I tried primarily western food which was good but nothing great. Same menu everyday.
