The lobby makes a strong first impression with its tasteful, contemporary design—very much in line with what seasoned travelers appreciate after a long journey. Location-wise, the hotel is a solid choice. Being close to the train station and surrounded by local food options made getting around and finding good meals effortless. That said, the 5pm check-in time is noticeably later than usual and can be inconvenient if you arrive early. I passed the time at the restaurant and bar next to the lobby, taking advantage of their Happy Hour, which helped. A nice touch was the self-service luggage storage area—practical and traveler-friendly. I stayed in a corner room. The room itself was fine: clean, functional, and simple, as expected of many Japanese hotels. The view, however, was unremarkable. I also tried the public bath. It was reasonably sized and, thankfully, not too crowded during my visit, making it a relaxing experience. Service was a bit cool at first, though it improved as the stay went on. Overall, I would consider returning, especially when traveling as a couple.

It is my second in Kyoto, and I stayed both times in this hotel - this proves that this is really nice hotel. The room is spacious compared to other hotels I stayed im Japan, facilities are great, staffs are friendly. We tried the breakfast and dinner at the bar, the breakfast has quite limited selections but th quality was great. Dinner was a little disappointing for the price, but overall still a good experience.

Very good choice with hot bath and sauna, right in between Kyoto Station and busy Karasuma area. Subway stations are very close too.

I really like what they did offer during our stays. They provide so many features include the sauna, onsen, free welcome drink (include alcohol). The room is very clean and sleek. We also request the city view room (although the view blocked by another building— yet i think the Kyoto city view is totally worth it)

clean and relatively new hotel. there is lack of amenities: no gym. ironing board is available for borrowing on each floor, subject to availability. location was good! there is a familymart nearby and some food options. close to kyoto station. my main concern for this hotel is that i was allocated a corner room. the room was directly across the storage room where the cleansing staff put their utilities. i was woken up every morning from 8am - 11am continuously due to the loud noise.
