Extremely good location. Kyoto station just less than 5 minutes walk. For bus and train. Great selection for breakfast however menu should be changed daily. I ate the same thing for two days😅. The hotel is well maintained. Staffs were friendly and accommodative too. Souvenirs shops, desserts, and restaurants just in the vicinity. Very very convenient . I think the check out 10am is abit early. Otherwise this is a highly recommended hotel for the price and location!

Great location, 100m to JR station. (Just Cross the road) Discount provided to travellers to visit Kyoto tower. Friendly staffs. Will visit again!

Fantastic breakfast with many choices of Japanese and international tastes. Unbeatable location with main bus services just outside hotel entrance! Station opposite hotel in less than 3 minutes walk with abundant choice of eateries.

Front staff was friendly, check in and out was fast. Room was spacious, view was good, window could open and location of the hotel is the best. However, the hallway was very dirty and the room was very dusty and looked tired of all the tourist who had been there. Bed linnen was clean, bathroom and towels also. What you need like tea, toothbrush etc was there. Thank god also slippers..... Always wanted to stay at this iconic hotel in Kyoto, so on that note it was great. But, once was enough.

Every thing is OK except I don't understand why only 1 card is issued for a room. When 1 person has gone out while the other one staying in the room, can't access the room without using the card to access the floor where the room located.

We were happy with the location of the hotel which is so convenient. The hotel staff were helpful during our check in and check out. However, as muslim travellers, we were disappointed when the kitchen did not accurately label the food at breakfast. The pizza they served has pork but they only labled as tuna and corn pizza. The same goes for a few other dishes. This is very bad.

Highly recommend the room for families on Kyoto. location just steps away from kyoto station, we are staying family room with 2 beds and 3 futons. Room was clean and spacious with long sofa too, the breakfast was great!

Convenient location as next to station from where you can travel around easily to all the Kyoto sights. Room and bathroom could be cleaner.

Nice and easy hotel. Check in and check out were smooth, wifi runs very well, my personal opinion: room is kind of small although i already knew the room size

The room is great and the view is awesome. Room is clean and tidy. Access to Kyoto Tower and Tourism Guide Center(inside the train station) is effortless if you compare to other valuable hotel. You may also buy bus ticket to Fuji Q-Highland in the next building. Transportation is easy if you stay there. The service is quite nice since the staffs are very helpful and so kind(full of smile). Also, they're quite good in English. You may also get the discount voucher to get into Kyoto Tower Observatorium Deck. Amenities are basic, should be added, like shaving kits, etc.

The beds were on the floor. It was difficult for me with osteoarthritis knee to get on and off bed. Breakfast was OK, not great

Good location, service is good. This is my twice visit there. Recommend to live if you want to travel via public bus or other means.
