Hotel La Coruna dengan Gim

Personal muy atento y amable en todos los servicios. La ubicación totalmente céntrica al lado del Corte Inglés y estación de autobuses. Pena no estar abierto el Sky-Bar en el momento de la estancia y el desayuno fuera del buffet va desde 5 a 9 euros lo cual me parece un poco caro. Mejor contratar el buffet en el momento del check in que sale por 12 euros.

Estancia de una noche. Todo excepcional. El personal de 10, amables, atentos,... La habitación nos tocó en la planta 5, renovada, y con unas vistas espectaculares. La habitación grande, luminosa, espaciosa, limpia. El baño muy grande y perfecto. Además, sin decirles nosotros nada, nos preguntaron al llegar si necesitábamos dejar la habitación más tarde de las 12, lo cual nos vino estupendo ya que íbamos de carrera y así pudimos volver y ducharnos sin prisas y cómodamente. Sin duda volveremos.

This hotel looks the part from the outside and has some redeeming features but it’s not cheap and we were a bit disappointed. We had a 3rd floor Deluxe double, with sea/beach view and the room was spacious with an enormous comfortable bed. The bathroom too was large, appeared freshly tiled and offered quality Rituals toiletries. Great shower. On the down side, the air con was very weak and the curtains, although they had liners, failed to keep out all the light. We had to keep having our keycards for the room fixed at reception and there was never an apology. In fact there was rarely a smile from reception staff, never mind a warm welcome. The guys in the bar were a different story, always cheery and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful but we didn’t rate the coffee. We tried the different machines but each took ages to produce a pretty weak lungo coffee. The breakfast room was very hectic and busy and it’s a shame there’s no outside space to it. It certainly wasn’t the most relaxing way to start the day.

Hotel cómodo, buena limpieza y ubicación. Cerca de la entrada y salida de la ciudad y próximo a Matogrande donde hay una gran variedad de restauración para comer o picar algo. El hotel se encuentra en una zona tranquila y libre de ruidos, el personal muy atento y amable, lo recomiendo 100%.

The only major international chain hotel in the city with a weird location somewhere on the outskirts. Need a car to get there and to the city. Don't even consider it without a car. Parking is very confusing to enter and costs extra, but luckily there is free street parking around the hotel. Check-in was faceless, no recognition of Marriott Elite status, just 'your passport please, and here is the key'. Old AC design but everything was still functional and clean. There was mini bar, but no kettle in the room. There is a nice churreria nearby for breakfast.

Hotel is very conveniently located near to restaurants, port, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was very clean with lovely white towels and bedding. The terrace was only available for functions - not for comfort of guests The secret room seemed to have nice saying and tables but again not for guests use Downside - no bar, no restaurant (except for breakfast), no room service! Mini bar was just a small empty fridge No shower cap in bathroom, no cotton buds Not really what I expect from 4 star hotel anywhere in the world!

Rooms looking neglected contemporary rooms are difficult to maintain to a high standard,no free water in rooms and no tea or coffee in rooms and no bar facility in hotel anymore. We have been coming here for the past 6 years and noticed the change much better when a Sercotel. To many people on reception male receptionists look totally disinterested except for night receptionist who is fantastic.

Easy to get to from either the airport or train station, prime location on the stunning Riazor beach (if you’re able to, upgrade to a sea view room – the views are spectacular) with plenty of nearby shops/restaurants including a convenience store next door. The hotel has been extensively renovated and you can tell – I especially liked the reception area which had lots of comfy seating as well as computers and reading material. The room itself was excellent – clean, modern and comfortable with all the facilities you’d expect (kettle, mini fridge, safe, hair dryer, large TV), though the stunning view out the window was the biggest plus. Breakfast was fabulous, with sweet and savoury options as well as a cooked offering too. I had a fantastic stay and wish I could have stayed for longer – would definitely return, no questions asked.

I’ve stayed here a few times & it’s always great. Friendly service & a central location for bars & restaurants. The breakfast is extensive and caters for all tastes. Extensive views from every window too!

I chose this option as we needed to be near the train station during our stay for a number of day trips elsewhere in Galicia and I am quite happy I chose this option as other options dotted around the city would have resulted in long walks, bus journeys or taxis. This hotel is located in Cuatro Caminos so close to the bus station and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. We booked a Premium Junior Suite which averaged €80 a night including breakfast. The room on the top floor was lovely and spacious. Beds were really comfortable and large. The bathroom area was large with separate bath and shower areas. For those wondering about standard rooms the ones on the 5th floor at least are in the same decoration as this one but half the size. The room lacks tea and coffee facilities in the room but there is a vending machine downstairs. There is a minibar in the room but its also cheaper to use the machines downstairs if needed. Breakfast was ok not the best, but not the worst I've had. The hotel is heavily used in winter by Spanish IMSERSO groups. Thankfully the guests being older are all asleep well before midnight so peace and quiet is more or less guaranteed at night. They are also funnelled off into a separate dining area for breakfast so it never feels too crowded. Wifi works reasonably well and is free for guests. Another plus point here is that you can have your luggage stored on the day of departure. A taxi is about €15 each way to and from the Airport and takes about 10 minutes. I would stay here again if given the choice of hotels in A Coruña.
