Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di La Spezia

Conveniently located a short stroll from the La Spezia station and restaurant area. Staff very friendly and helpful. My room was on the first level where the elevator was only accessible via stairs - not an issue for me but perhaps ask if you need access to the elevator without navigating stairs. The room was clean, bright, spacious with an opening window for fresh air. The bathroom was adequate but with a very good shower. Took a moment to locate the bar fridge on the wall. Breakfast area is gorgeous with a lovely selection. Would highly recommend.

酒店位置極佳，只需要幾分鐘便可到火車站。酒店內的房間部分翻新，但我住的房間因是平價房，所以未有翻新。房間在地下，走廊牆上及地氈顏色深沉，光線又不足，感覺有點陰深；房內的傢俬破舊，地氈暗啞，毛也脫落，感覺不舒服，住了兩晚，第二天皮膚即出現過敏現象。 更因為是「平價」（酒店定義）房，所以不提供蒸餾水及水煲，更不會提供免費茶包、咖啡，最離譜的是水杯也沒有，刷牙用的膠杯第二天也收走！我們訂了五間房，我住的是「平價」房，但酒店在事前並沒有註明我住的房不提供上述物品，所以我只以為與其他四間房比較，我的房間面積較少而已。

距離車站有點距離，還有上坡有行李會小累一點。 房間一般，浴室太大了感覺沒有用好空間，應該把空間用在臥房。The station is a bit of a distance away, and there is an uphill climb with luggage which can be a bit tiring. The room is average, and the bathroom feels too big and not well-utilized; the space should have been used for the bedroom. La stazione è un po' distante e c'è una salita con i bagagli che può essere un po' faticosa. La camera è nella media e il bagno è troppo grande e non ben utilizzato; lo spazio avrebbe dovuto essere utilizzato per la camera da letto.

We booked 2 nights with breakfast included. We were 2 adults with our 16 year-old daughter. The room is comfortable and it has all you need and won't break the bank. The staff was really helpful and suggested a great restaurant for the first night. The location is awesome, being right above the train station, it makes it perfect for a day trip to Cinque Terre. The room has a kettle, coffee and tea and some complimentary cookies. There is storage for your clothes (armoire). There is a common room with 2 loveseats and books to borrow/take/exchange. There is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Not a big deal for us, but good to know in advance. Communication with the staff in advance was great and they were helpful to get us there easily. We also booked for breakfast. They give you a voucher for a coffee shop one street over for a coffee and croissant. The place and staff was great. The croissant was really tasty. I would recommend this hotel.

Affittacamere del Golfo was the perfect place for us to base ourselves for a few days exploring the Cinque Terre. We loved La Spezia and are glad we chose this city instead of staying in one of the actual Cinque Terre towns. Affittacamere is a ten minute walk to the La Spezia train station where frequent trains run frequently to the towns. Staying in La Spezia you have many great choices for shopping and dining without the crush of crowds and limited restaurant options. Our accommodations were well-appointed and comfortable: Affittacamere del Golfo is a collection of rooms with a lobby, in a typical older multi-family apartment building. Our room was well-maintained and clean, the bed was comfortable (and the bathroom was also clean and in full working order). There were no problems with water pressure or availability of hot water. Elisa, the proprietor, was friendly and helpful and always more than happy to get us situated and oriented. We asked for local dining off the beaten track and she directed us to a place near the water where we had amazing seafood every night. Affittacamere del Golfo is not fancy but it was exactly what we needed and we would stay there again without hesitation.

The rooms are very nice, but a bit small. However, there is no reception. If you are lucky you will see small plaque (see photo) near a large door which infers that you are in the right place. However, there is no clue as to how to get in. When I rang the number on the booking form I was informed that I had been sent a WhatApp message with instructions as to how to get in - not a lot of use when travelling all day on Italian trains with no wifi. To be fair, the chap did turn up within 5 mins or so and let us in, but not a great start.

Located within 700 metres of Castello San Giorgio and 1.1 km of Technical Naval Museum, B&B L'Arca Di Noè provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in La Spezia. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. At the guest house, the units include a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hair dryer, units at the guest house also offer free WiFi, while selected rooms come with a terrace. At the guest house, every unit includes bed linen and towels. There is a coffee shop on-site. Guests at the guest house will be able to enjoy activities in and around La Spezia, like cycling. Amedeo Lia Museum is 300 metres from B&B L'Arca Di Noè, while La Spezia Centrale Train Station is 300 metres away. Pisa International Airport is 83 km from the property.

Me & my partner stayed here for 3 nights in July, our trip was fantastic. We used La Spezia as a base to explore Cinque Terre and for this it was perfect, La Spezia train station was a few mins walk from the accommodation. Our room was clean, white and felt fresh, we slept great and found check in and check out easy. Andrea was a gracious host and gave us some good tips & helped us realise La Spezia was so much more than just a CT base. Would for sure recommend this location and this accommodation to others.
