Therme Laa - Hotel & Silent Spa

The hotel is nice and spotlessly clean, the rooms are very quiet with beautiful views, massive baths and powerful showers, luxurious toiletries, towels and bathrobes, comfortable beds with high quality mattresses and bedding. The reception staff is friendly, helpful and professional, fluent in many languages. The breakfast is exceptional. The formal restaurant is not really worth your time and money in our opinion, running a restaurant and hospitality business ourselves, my husband being a chef, as the food here is trying to mimic high end cuisine, trying to be ’posh’, but really badly. The a**osphere here is very formal, cold, uncomfortable and unfriendly. The waiting staff we have experienced were ignorant and bordering on arrogant. No one is smiling or chats with you, it feels like they can’t wait for you to get out, doing the absolute minimum. They forbid you to wear slippers here and have a phone with you, which would be absolutely acceptable if it’s fantastic restaurant with great service and high quality food, which unfortunately it is far from. Better option, especially if you have children or teenagers, would be the more relaxed part of the restaurant at the back, with a buffet choices and self service. The selection of locally sourced cheeses is incredible. The cheeses are so good! Also there is a self service canteen inside the spa area, which is very convenient, great value fast ready cooked traditional food with lots of options to choose from. The spa is out of this world, with hot salty water outdoor pool, inside pools floating into each other, with slide and fun activities for the children and teens. There is plenty of loungers and sun beds around the area, but the water world can get incredibly busy as it’s open to general public. We loved it here the most at the least busy calm periods that we could experience as being the hotel guests. The sauna world is absolutely outstanding, with many different temperatures and styles saunas, with cold and warm outdoor pools. They provide a great, once in a lifetime fan ceremony inside the sauna, where a lady waves a large orange fan and pours water onto the hot rocks, making the air and temperature inside the sauna even hotter. It’s amazing. Even our eye balls were sweating :). Then you jump inside the cold pool outside. Such sensational invigorating experience for your body and mind! We really liked the massage and trea**ents available at the spa. The staff here is very professional, discreet and accommodating. Dear Therme Laa, Thank you very much for having us again, we can’t wait to our return!

Clean, comfortable, competent, good food. Architecture and interior decoration average. bathtubs big, but Not easily accessible. Reception does offer a device to Help people with reduced Mobility use them. Free Bikes to borrow. 10 minute's Walk to the railway station, a big plus for easy Access from Vienna. Die Not use the Premium spa facilities, only the Public Part of the baths.

The room, including the equipment and TV, is in dire need of renovation, bathrobes and towels also need to be replaced for new ones. Pleasant wellness area for hotel guests, perfect sauna. Excellent cuisine. A big minus for unfriendly behaviour at the entrance to the restaurant, the Czech-speaking lady was really very unpolite. Next time somewhere else.

The whole stay was very relaxing, excellent kitchen, thermal spa 10 out of 10, accomodation very good, clean, quite. My only cosmetic complain was regarding a bed mattress, softer to my liking, but acceptable. I would enjoy a stay in colder months due to thermal spa. One of the pools was salinated, nice. 👍👍

Nice hotel, friendly staff and amazing restaurant. Pool with thermal water was sooo relaxing :) Parking outside for free, our room had a bathtub and a balcony. I recommend this place to spend a break from your everyday routine.

Our bank holiday weekend was a great experience. A bit more crowded but that is to be expected due to the holidays. I would like to praise all staff which was very attentive, pleasant yet professional (Jiri the waiter). Breakfast and dinner ticked all the boxes with choice and quality. Would certainly recommend to others.

Wir waren heute Brunchen. Die Reservierung wurde immer wieder auf unsere Bedürfnisse angepasst, war bei der spontanen Änderung sicher nicht einfach war, aber sie haben es geschafft, dass die ganze Familie Platz hatte. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen hat super geschmeckt.

Wir waren mit zwei Kids unterwegs und haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Zuvorkommendes Personal und familienfreundliche Ausstattung haben uns überzeugt. Die Suite ist super für Familien mit der Schiebetüre. Da können die Eltern in Ruhe aufbleiben während die Kinder direkt nebenan schlafen.

Wir waren schon öfter zu Besuch in der Therme und haben uns dieses Mal für eine Buchung über Silvester entschieden. Trotz sehr vieler Gäste, waren wir positiv überrascht. Hotel und Therme waren sauber und gepflegt, das Personal freundlich und bemüht. In der Therme war generell sehr viel los, im Silent Spa hat man jedoch (obwohl fast alle Betten belegt waren) davon wenig mitbekommen. Das Galadinner und das Rahmenprogramm an Silvester waren in Ordnung. Die Speisen waren hervorragend und man war den ganzen Abend gut unterhalten. Natürlich könnte man Punkte abziehen (z.B. für die vielen Menschen in der Therme oder längere Wartezeiten beim Galadinner am 31.12.), aber um dieses Jahreszeit muss man, meiner Meinung nach, mit vielen Besuchern in der Therme rechnen und daher wäre ein Puntkeabzug in meinen Augen nicht gerechtfertigt. Besonders erfreulich waren auch kleine Aufmerksamkeiten zwischendurch: So standen z.B. zum Jahreswechsel eine Flasche Sekt und Glücksfische vor unserer Tür. Auch das Brot als Geschenk zu Abreise ist eine gelungene Idee. Alles in allem waren wir mit unserem Besuch sehr zufrieden und würden wieder buchen.
