Hotel Quality Inn di Lafayette

The AC didn’t work, but maintenance did try to come fix it at 10:00pm. The room still didn’t get cold. The bathroom was too small.

The front desk staff was super friendly and greeted me with a smile! Gave me advice and where to find good Cajun food and printed out names and addresses for me. The rooms are very nice and the beds are super comfortable plus it was clean! Housekeeping isn’t lacking at this hotel! I will definitely tell my friends and family about this hotel for when they visit Lafayette!

Stayed here for a Reba McEntire concert at the Cajundome which was literally across the street! Dry convenient. Friendly staff! Clean rooms and good breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. It too far from other eating areas etc. I would definitely stay again!

We were in Lafayette with the Cajun/zydeco dance group for Mardi Gras. The hotel was extremely clean, updated and nicely decorated, The staff were very polite, attentive, friendly, efficient, personable and engaging. The staff (Nelson, Tasha and Gabriella) at breakfast every morning were outstanding and made our trip even more fun! The breakfast was always fresh and tasty with a good variety of items to choose from. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and attentive happy to help with all of our requests. We loved having a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave in our room. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good with hot water always available. I appreciated the dove soap amenities and the dispensers in the shower and the sink. Our only complaint was the lack of a toilet seat cover which we all felt wasn’t very sanitary. Overall a lovely experience in Lafayette at the Holiday Inn ! We would all choose this hotel again because the staff went above and beyond which we all know is hard to come by these days. I will try to be as unbiased as possible. It was only 5 days ago that I was in a newly constructed Residence Inn in a major city. Overall, Residence Inn Lafayette Airport was a really good stay. Pros: This place is extremely clean. The cleaning staff goes out of their way to make sure this place is clean from top to bottom. It has that fresh, clean aroma all throughout the property. The entire room was spotless upon arrival. Additionally, the front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They are very quick to respond to messages sent via the chat function in the Bonvoy app. I regret not getting the name of the agent that checked us in, but she was extremely helpful in suggesting local cuisine. Feezo's is now my new favorite restaurant for chargrilled oysters. Cons: The rooms are really dated and shows plenty of wear and tear. More specifically, the mattress was in pretty bad shape. It had hills and valleys from head to toe and was NOT comfortable. I'm almost certain it's an original mattress from the opening of the property. Same goes for the couch. It was NOT comfortable at all. The pillows and cushions were in very bad shape. Mind you, these items were very clean, but old and worn out. The tv's are also dated. They are really small, probably Gen1 plasma, 24 inches. The channel lineup was impressive, however. I haven't seen that many channels in a hotel in a while. In conclusion, it was a good stay. I was more impressed with the cleanliness than the actual room. Breakfast was ok... food was good, but there was no cheese at all. I haven't decided if I will stay here again in the future as I am accustomed to a more updated hotel atmosphere.
