Hotel dengan Pengambilan dari hotel di Lagoa

Malgré un emplacement génial en Algarve, et un personnel attentionné une immense déception pour cet établissement. Nous avons réservé 2 nuits. Le soir de la première nuit nous sommes arrivés tard , nous avons pris possession de la chambre. Le sol était humide ainsi que les draps et la salle de bain. Nous nous sommes dit que le ménage venait d'être effectué et que la chambre n'avez pas été aéré depuis longtemps au vu de l'odeur. Petit désagrément aussi l'eau de la douche était froide. Au petit matin mal à la gorge, de la condensation sur les murs où coulaient des gouttes, nos sacs humides, le sol mouillé, quel plaisir .... Nous avons laissé la fenêtre ouverte en nous disant que le deuxième soir ce serait réglé. Et là surprise! Exactement comme le matin l'eau des serpillères en plus au sol. Nous sommes allés à la réception pour changer de chambre ou être remboursés. On nous informe que l'étage supérieur est en travaux et que ça doit être une infiltration d'eau. On nous propose la chambre à coté, exactement le même problème. Ainsi qu'une troisième chambre. La direction nous propose enfin une suite dans un autre endroit. Nous demandons le remboursement des 2 nuits au vu de l'expérience. Seule la deuxième nuit nous sera remboursé. Nous quittons donc l'hôtel avant la fin du séjour et terminerons les vacances avant l'heure sur cette touche désagréable. Nous déconseillons fortement pour LES PERSONNES ASTHMATIQUES ainsi qu'en basse saison et surtout lorsque la météo est pluvieuse ou humide. Dommage l'hôtel a l'air d'avoir du potentiel pour la belle saison. Pour ce genre d'établissement grande déception. Merci au personnel d'accueil d'avoir fait au mieux pour régler le problème.

We hosted our wedding celebration at Pestana Viking, and it was absolutely incredible—far beyond our expectations! From the stunning venue to the exceptional service, everything was meticulously planned and executed to perfection. The attention to detail and personalized touches made the whole experience feel magical. A huge thank you to Fábio, Bárbara, Kateryna, and the entire team for their hard work and dedication, ensuring that every moment was unforgettable for us and our guests. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night!

My Wife and I have just returned from a week's stay in the Mirachoro hotel, Carvoeiro. We were booked bed and breakfast. The hotel was excellent and a joy to be in. It was well situated, beautifully maintained and spotless. Our room was perfect, cleaned every day with fresh towels, lovely balcony view and well air conditioner. The Staff were so helpful and breakfast was an absolute treat! A variety of cereals and seeds, fresh fruit, cheese, yoghurts, cooked items, assortment of breads and more. Great pool, WiFi service, book library and more. What a fantastic week and The Mirachoro was just perfect!!! Thank you so much to the Management and Staff!! 👏👏❤️ Paul and Roisin

Great stay, nice staff! Walkable to gorgeous beaches and the town of Portimaõ. Comfy beds, clean apartments. Could do with a bit more shelving in the bathroom (even a small chair under the sink would do) and some hooks here and there, but otherwise perfect.

In August 2024, we stayed for a week in an apartment with our two adult children, in the top left corner of the residence (apartment 6609). The place was absolutely quiet and surrounded by lush greenery. We had a very large terrace with a garden in front of it and a large, magnificent ocean view. The residence's gardens are absolutely extraordinary. The trees are majestic, the species diverse, the flowers are everywhere and in different colors. It's simply magical, and creates an atmosphere of incredible serenity. Thank you to the talented landscapers and the people who look after this natural environment. The overall architecture of the residence is really beautiful, with an ochre-brown color and soft, rounded shapes rather than cold angles. Our apartment was sublime in every way, and above all of a size that exceeded our expectations. The two bedrooms are far enough apart to guarantee privacy. The communal living area (living room, dining room and kitchen) makes cooking and eating “at home” very comfortable. Breakfast is a must - no one should miss it. Everything, absolutely everything, is here and comes from the region. The choice of fruit prepared separately is incredible. And it's enjoyed above one of the residence's pools ... overlooking the ocean... A dream come true! The service is impeccable and, above all, extremely kind. A big thank you also to the invisible people, those we don't see but who make it all possible. We'll be back again.

Una villa, muy buena y bien situada, muy bonita y agradable estancia, el único inconveniente diría que ha sido el tema del spa, no estaban ni los baños turcos en funcionamiento ni la piscina pequeña, si eso hubiera estado operativo hubiese sido ideal, pero igualmente, todo lo demás un lujo para nosotros.

We've just returned from a 10 night stay at Placid Village and loved it. We had a 2 bed apartment and we've never had such a spacious apartment, it was huge! It was a bonus to have a second toilet with a washing machine and a dishwasher in the kitchen. The A/C worked really well and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool area is small but even though it was the summer holidays there was never a mad dash for sun beds in the morning, which was great. The complex has a little snack bar for drinks and ice creams during the day. And the reception staff were friendly and informative. It is a bit of a walk into the centre (20 mins) but we enjoy walking so it wasn't an issue. Don't let the walk put you off as Ubers and taxis are really reasonable. We used an Uber to get to the Intermarche supermarket and it was less than €4. There's a decent mini market about 5-10 mins away from the complex. We loved the resort of Carvoeiro, our 1st visit. We ate in lots of lovely restaurants, Bella Rosa, Xamor and the tapas place near the beach, to name a few. The sky bar at the Tivoli and sky bar 360 near the beach are great for a sundowner cocktail. And there's a lovely little bakery (turn left instead of right on the road at the bottom of the big hill). Worth visiting for breakfast. We walked to Algar Seco to see the cliffs/caves which are spectacular. We visited the Benagil caves and went kayaking. We also went to Ferragudo for the day, which was under €10 in an Uber. We had a fantastic holiday and we were really happy with everything about Placid Village.

It’s our second time to Monte Santo and it was better than the first a number of years ago. Apartments were spotlessly cleaned and well maintained. All facilities available with the exception of a clothes horse. Hotel said it was because there was a washer dryer but I prefer not to use a dryer on lots of items. Cleaners were good and came every day. Towels were changed when required and pool towels can be changed daily. Lots of beds available at the pool however if you want an umbrella you need to be there earlier. I understand that more umbrellas are on the way. Lots of maintenance taking place to keep the resort up to standard. In comparison to other resorts I’ve stayed in, I think they could do more with the restaurant and bar. A better lunch and snack menu and a better priced evening menu would attract a lot more customers. Overall a lovely stay. It’s not 5 star and probably more good 4 star.

Me my wife and 2 children aged 11 and 12 have just come back from a 4 night break here . First the reception guy couldn’t have been any nicer on first arrival . When I said I’m checking in he said first things first , how was your trip? . Absolutely lovely guy as were all the staff we encountered . Our side view double room was spotless . The beds were comfy as was the kids sofa bed. Onto the food . Overall we all thought the food was really good . A lot of variety and both my kids were going up for 2nd and third plates . The staff again were amazing and very polite . The British people on here complaining about the food must be used to chicken nuggets and other junk food. My youngest is the pickiest eater imaginable and she loved the food . She tried all sorts of food including paella and the different veg on offer and lived most of it . The snack bar does do basic burgers and hot dogs if that’s your thing but we’re in Portugal not the uk so we were more than happy with the food . The only thing I would say would maybe increase vegan options ? My wife can’t have dairy and although there was enough dairy free options she was quite limited in what she could have . Maybe a vegan pizza, or 1 or 2 vegan desserts and some oat milk would have been great. Soya milk is available at breakfast but is the most inferior of milk alternatives so a choice would have been nice . Now the entertainment . Just a big thankyou to all the entertainment/animation team.We enjoyed all the night time entertainment . The Portuguese dance show was great as were the traditional costumes . The tunnel of terror was brilliant ! Halloween is quite a big thing in our house and this was better than any of us expected . There was a delay on us entering but the young French lad was so polite and apologetic and kept telling us they want to get it right and it has to be safe . All 4 of us were absolutely buzzing when we came out of the tunnel . You could see the work and effort that had gone into this. Speaking of work and effort , the final Halloween show. Wow ! Absolutely brilliant . I can’t imagine the effort end work that went into this . The young French girl with blonde who created it was in tears at the end which showed how much it meant . My wife turned to me and said “I knew she’d have had something to do with it “ all the animation team were amazing but this girl was non stop throughout the entertainment , so a special thankyou to her . The entertainment is not aimed at the French . It’s done in 4 languages English, french , Portuguese and Spanish . I think the British people complaining should stick with places like Benidorm . In fact the worst parts of our break was British kids running wild whilst their “parents” were getting to drunk to care . Older French people at the buffet not understanding how to que was also annoying but in no way the fault of the hotel . Thanks again to the hotel and all the staff we encountered ! Ashley ,room 1432
