I've been coming to WDW since 2000, my husband since he was a baby. Our family usually goes about once a year but it's been getting harder to do so as we have 2 dogs. We decided the cabins would be a great idea so we can have them with us. Later, when we opted to leave our furry babies with family instead, we still kept our reservation as we were curious about the ”'Rough' it in comfort,” claims. It is Disney so it should be great, right?! Well, I traveled from Europe and was jet-lagged the first day. I only checked in to drop off groceries as my children were waiting at MK. I didn't think to check for cleanliness, just did the usual check of the beds and left (it is Disney, so it should be super clean is what I thought). Got back extra tired at midnight and went to shower. Found 2 used toothbrushes in shower along with a thick film of soap in shelving. Asked my husband for dish soap and sponge and scrubbed and showered. Too tired, I went to bed. Next day, got up early and left to parks. Again, paid little attention to cabin. Got back at 10pm this time. Look around, the filth was horrible. Dirty windows, stained dirty nook in kitchen, cobwebs, dust everywhere (behind furniture, ceilings, baseboards, moldings), mold all over bathroom ceiling, dirty floors, and TO TOP IT ALL, we grabbed what was labeled as clean linen with a seal for sofa bed to discover a gritty blanket with a BLACK sheet. I called the front desk and told them about bedding and everything else. Was told they will make a report. I said I want lodging up to DISNEY STANDARDS and that this wasn't it. By then it was 11pm and my son fell asleep. I asked for manager to come see me first thing in the morning. Manager comes and I said to please just come in and look around, He took pictures and I showed him mine. He asked that I send him the pictures I took. Didn't even have to argue, he could see exactly how bad the cabin was. He offered to put us in another cabin but given what I could see here, why would I switch cabins? It's obvious what their standard of cleanliness is so I asked to move resorts. The manager was very understanding and without me even asking, he refunded one night's stay. It really was that bad. My advice, if you're going to stay here, take a GOOD look around with lights on and open windows so you can gauge whether you are comfortable. Between being jet-lagged and entire stays at parks, also trusting Disney cleanliness standards, I stayed 2 nights too long. My second resort was a gem, and super clean. Exactly how Disney is supposed to be.
Sangat Baik
