Service was really good. On arrival we were told to have an upgraded room with a view of the Lancaster castle. Staff were very friendly. Location was absolutely central and convenient for shopping, restaurants and the train station.

The hotel is fantastic. Room is clean and tidy. Foods are delicious. And the staffs are really kind and helpful. Highly recommend! 😆😆

Wonderful location; Good service in check-in or luggage storage; But the housekeeper knocked on the door at 10 am. Due to the poor sound insulation, we could clearly hear the sounds when the housekeeper cleaned other rooms or other guests sat outside our room. Not suitable for people who have light sleep

Might be due to owner wanted to save energy, lights and heaters very unpreductable. Even TV will auto off, lights auto dim down and no intervention possible.

Right alongside the River Lune in central Lancaster, this traditional pub serves real ales and hearty full English breakfast. The shops of the city center are just a 5-minute stroll along the river, and a picturesque cycling route passes by the building.Rooms at Wagon & Horses are elegant and traditionally furnished, with a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Each also has a work desk and an private bathroom with free toiletries.Wagon & Horses has a covered and heated courtyard, where you can sit outside in peace. The gastro pub serves home-cooked food made from local ingredients, and there is a wide-ranging wine list.Lancaster Cathedral can be reached in around 15 minutes on foot, and Lancaster Museum, on the market square, is less than 10 minutes’ walk away. The seaside resort town of Morecambe is 5 miles from the building.

We had a lovely evening away at the Mill, bed was really comfy. Our evening meal & breakfast were both lovely. We would recommend this hotel
