The hostel is a very particular Japanese style place. Although the first night it was a bit cold, the owner let me move to another room and the tatami room was fantastic, warm and cozy. She is definitely the best part of the hostel; a kind and helpful old lady who runs one of the best hostels I have been to. Moreover, the location is perfect and the bathroom are quite clean, plus the laundry service is free!

This a great hostel because of the fantastic bar downstairs. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. Also, very clean. Would stay again.

Very clean hostel and surprisingly quiet, I had very good night sleep without any need of earplugs.
Great location within walking distance of city centre, XiGuan and the famous Zhongshan Bridge is just a stone's throw away.
Would definitely go back to stay if I'm back to Lanzhou again.

Amazing hospitable staff and owner! Live music performance daily. Great hostel environment!
When taking the guestroom - single occupant you get a whole room for yourself (small, but your own). Not the normal hostel style and basically it is like a hotel room. Just a bit smaller and shared bathroom / showers.
Truly a hidden gem (see the entrance photo).
Not to forget, great location! Right next to the Yellow River Bridge! Ans next to Xiguan metro, just a few stops from West Railway on line 1, which is perfect if coming from the airport.

It is a good location, but it is very difficult to find, as it is hidden in courtyards. No one speaks English, there was no lock on the door of the room (it's hard to call it a room, it's a capsule to sleep in, there's a mattress on the floor, there's no hanger or chair to put things, clothes), no one responded to the request to give it. The toilet and shower are not divided into male and female. In the morning there was an early departure, at 6:00 the reception was closed, the key had to be left on the table, opening the window.
