The most bizarre thing, though, is that you have to pick up your own food deliveries; staff can't do it for you, and there are no robots either. As for the facilities, well, they're quite old-fashioned.

From 2014 to 2019, I spent six-weeks each summer teaching in Beijing, and over that time, the Boyue Beijing Hotel has served as nothing less than a home away from home for me. It is exactly its friendly embrace and easy elegance that distinguishes the Boyue from Beijing’s larger, higher-profile hotels. Still, after a six-year absence caused by the pandemic, I was concerned that I might find a far less welcoming version of the place I had truly come to love. It was a relief to see that Liu Baojun was still out front and that Lisa was still at the head of the dining room, but so many others who had made my stays at the Boyue so unforgettable had moved on. However, no sooner than I checked in, my worries began to vanish completely. That’s when I first met three extraordinary new staff members—Jiaqi, Yonah , and their supervisor Anais—who demonstrated again and again that hospitality was still the heart and soul of coming to stay at this Chaoyang institution. Through the hard work of such talented and committed professionals as these three, the Boyue not only continues to check all the boxes that one expects to find at the highest levels of the hospitality industry—comfort, attentiveness, fine dining, and first-rate facilities—but I am also convinced that in the years since the pandemic, it has actually surpassed its own considerable track record of excellence. Thank you, one and all, for making my latest visit such an absolute pleasure!

The room was spacious and comfortable, clean and bright, with soft bedding that ensured a good night's sleep. Breakfast was rich and varied, offering a comprehensive mix of Chinese and Western options, all of high quality. Offers superb services and is attentive to its guest which lives up to its name as a Japanese styled hotel. During period of stay, the gym and pool are down - hotel manager has kindly explained the situation and helped to arrange alternative services to make up for the experience (e.g., arranging breakfast box for us since we are leaving the hotel early in the morning) which is commendable. I personally like their Taobao collection service because they will arrange everything nicely if parcels reach hotel ahead of time and get guest to sign off to confirm quantity (instead of some hotels which require you to provide delivery codes which can be cumbersome for large quantities of parcel). The staff were also attentive and offers great help and services for all the questions we had, which is perfect for first time family travellers. Location is also good (within second circle of Beijing) and walking distance to train. Good food options nearby the hotel as well, and for travellers who are lazy to get out, couple of good restaurants availability. Connecting path from hotel back door to Lawson and a Japanese bakery as well. If you prefer Beijing famous 紫光园, just cross the road from Lawson (good for breakfast and dinner/Peking duck). Grab the map that concierge prepares when you reach the hotel :) Facilities wise, I personally like the spacious room set up and the card on the table which states clearly what are available for guests (including curlers, mirrors, steam iron), good for business travels. Can tell the hotel does have some age, but for the price point, it is acceptable since they do clean it well. Especially good that the housekeepers do room tour every night to ask guest if water/amenities needs to be replenished. Really enjoyed the experience! I will recommend to those who values service and convenience, especially families with elderly and kids.

Honestly, and without exaggeration, this was the worst hotel experience I've had among all the hotels I've stayed in. 1. The hotel is very large, and the lobby is grand and beautiful. There are staff members to help with luggage. I'm not sure of its star rating, but it has a swimming pool and a gym, and the location is good. 2. Now for the downsides: The breakfast quality is mediocre. The front desk for check-in is on the 3rd floor. Every time you want to go downstairs, you have to go to the 3rd floor to switch elevators, and then take another elevator or escalator down. The same goes for going up, you have to keep switching. This is quite inconvenient. Additionally, the laundry room charges for washing clothes, and it's a third-party service that closes at night, so it's not available 24/7. 3. I booked a king-size bed room for nearly 900 per night, and it was quite ordinary and not very spacious. There was no welcome fruit upon arrival. The mini-fridge only had one small bottle of Coke and one small bottle of Sprite, as shown in the picture. On the first day, I used the tea, but it wasn't refilled on the second day. I asked a staff member for another Coke and Sprite, thinking I'd drink them on the road, and I was incredibly surprised when they refused. The reason given was that since my previous drinks hadn't been used, they couldn't provide more. I booked for two nights, which essentially means I paid for two sets of amenities. Shouldn't two sets of amenities be configured identically? Two small bottles cost just a few yuan. Even a budget hotel wouldn't refuse something like that. It just makes the hotel seem stingy. Some staff members are snobby, arrogant, and impatient, even rolling their eyes. Just because they see a lot of foreigners, do they think they're rich? Do they look down on everyone? The experience was actually worse than staying at an Atour hotel.

Check-in was a bit chaotic as there was some confusion regarding my booking of two rooms, which led to a need for two keys. This was somewhat frustrating. However, the hotel itself was immaculate and very clean! I was impressed with the standard of the rooms, and the facilities were excellent. The pool was pristine, and the gym amenities were fantastic. The hotel matched the photos perfectly, and we had a lovely stay overall. For breakfast, we ordered room service. One room’s breakfast was satisfactory, but the other ordered two waffles and received pancakes instead. We brought this up at checkout, but the same lady who checked us in didn’t seem interested in addressing the issue and charged us the full amount despite their mistake.

I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE! There was a bit of noise in the morning due to reconstruction nearby, we informed them, and the immediately changed us the room. Our new room was a luxury suite with amazing view, jacuzzi and two bedrooms😍. Besides, in the reception the girls were always willing to help us, even for questions totally unrelated for them. The entrance inside of the hotel was stunning! Additionally, we wanted to cook something and they were so helpful that they brought us an induction cooker just for us to cook. 10’ /10!!!!

Beijing Xinqiao Hotel was such a perfect start to our first trip to China! The front desk staff was helpful and attentive. The room was great, with such a cool city view!! The bed was super comfortable. Please note: there is no heating in the rooms, but they do provide warm blankets! We really appreciated all of the room amenities (especially the great smelling shampoo and conditioner!) but especially liked the bottles of water. After long days of walking it was nice to have them in the room. The hotel is bustling with tourists and the lobby is usually busy, but our room was quiet! Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious - but be warned going around 9 AM you may need to be patient to wait for a table. I received packages while there and the concierge assisted with that as well. A wonderful stay - highly recommend!!!

We were travelling with our elderly parents, one of the main considerations are convenient location within walking distance to foods/shoppings as well as good value, Sunworld Hotel did not disappoint on all counts. wangfujin pedestrian shopping strip is a short stroll away. There is a decent gym with dumbell (up tp 25 kg), strength training machine and a treadmill. A free laundry with dryer and complimentary laundry detergent is also very convenient. I will bring less clohes for extra shopping space next time .. I will be back .. thank you Sunworld Hotel

This was my second trip to Beijing in mid-to-late October, and I chose to stay at the same hotel I did years ago, which added a nice sense of familiarity to revisiting the city. The most appealing aspect is the hotel's central location in Wangfujing. The interior environment is still quite good; whenever you return, you can enjoy a hot tea in the lobby to ward off the early winter chill. I didn't get the 'Jiangnan' room, so I opted for a premium room with a bathtub. Although I don't usually take baths, the room felt much more spacious, and having a window for ventilation was convenient for temperature control. The cleaning lady was very outgoing and easy to communicate with; she replenished the water daily, and tea bags and soft drinks were refilled the next day after use. For small items I needed temporarily, I could provide a list on WeChat mini-program, and a robot would deliver them, which is perfect for introverted travelers. However, since there's only one elevator and one robot, food deliveries might be a bit delayed during peak hours, but calling for human service is a warm touch. When checking out on the morning of October 26th, the front desk attendant was very gentle, asked for detailed feedback, and even gave a small gift, which brought a perfect end to my trip. Sorry I promised to leave a review but only had time to write a few words today (๑• . •๑). Finally, I suggest the hotel updates the in-room TVs when appropriate; not being able to easily cast content feels a bit outdated.

I really have to leave a review. I've been to Beijing many times, and this stay was incredibly satisfying. The price was reasonable too. I absolutely loved the room, even though it only had two chairs instead of the three-seater sofa I prefer. It's about a ten-minute bike ride to Tiananmen Square, or five to six minutes if you're not with kids. Nanluoguxiang is a twenty-minute subway ride away, and the hotel is just a three-minute walk to the subway station. The 5th floor of the hotel has a New World department store, and there's also a mall downstairs. Plus, there's the famous Fangzhuan Factory Zhajiangmian nearby, making shopping super convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

The location of Beijing Futian Hotel is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. The front desk service is top-notch; their meticulous care makes you feel right at home. The duty manager provided great service, and the customer relations service was very professional. The hotel's interior decoration is beautiful and grand, and the facilities are comprehensive: the washer-dryer combo is very convenient to use, the branded kitchen appliances are practical, and the Panasonic PM2.5 fresh air system circulates clean air. The food in the restaurant also suits my taste perfectly. This is definitely my top choice for both short and long stays. I'll be coming back often when I have the chance, and I give a big thumbs up to their service!

Service is great; requests are attended to quickly. 5. Plenty of hot water for a comfortable shower. 6. Food delivery needs to be picked up in the elevator lobby; they don't deliver to the room. 7. The room was very warm in winter. Drawbacks: 1. The double room facing the road wasn't very soundproof. 2. The shower head lacked labels, so it was hard to tell which one was which. 3. I suggest using robots for food delivery, a service many five-star hotels now offer.

Now locating the hotel can be a bit difficult but there’s lots of famous clubs around, so you can enter one of the clubs name and ask any guards you might find by the gate and they’ll gladly help you. And yes they do accept foreigners

The quadrangle courtyard has a very strong positive vibe, and the scenery is beautiful. The Ming and Qing dynasty architecture really captures the essence of old Beijing. What I liked most was the private butler, Danika, who provided thoughtful service; even the kids loved her. Breakfast can be delivered to the room, which was an absolute treat. The room was spacious, giving the children plenty of room to play, and they could also enjoy the courtyard. Danika helped us with our luggage and thoughtfully prepared sun hats for the children, which were incredibly practical. Five-star recommendation!!!

Very good location to go forbidden city Tiananmen Square and Line 8 QianYuHuTong Subway. Not good when we are housed to room 107 for 7 nights which is at the back yard outside the main hall. The room is very noisy as hotel guests are stepping very hard when accessing the metal stairs just right outside the room. The service here is absolutely fantastic, offering great value for money. For its location, they even provide free laundry service for two items daily. All the staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. Honestly, the service here surpasses many five-star hotels I've stayed in. The cleaning lady even saw I had a lot of luggage when checking out and asked the front desk attendant to help me carry everything. All in all, I'm very satisfied. For the price, the service at this place is definitely a steal. Highly recommended!

This was my first stay here. The location is incredibly convenient for transport, with the subway just about a 3-minute walk away. Xiao Wang at the front desk (I even specifically asked for her name!) provided truly excellent service. She gave very detailed answers to all my questions. Luggage storage and similar services were a breeze. She patiently assisted with everything, from queries about using the room key to tourist information and local food recommendations. A really pleasant stay overall.
