I was truly impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the entire staff—from the concierge and reception team to the kitchen' staff, housekeeping, public area staff, and security. What made my stay even more special was how they accommodated my request for a high-floor room with a stunning partial ocean view. The room was impeccably clean, and I appreciated the thoughtful details, from the plush pillows that ensured a great night's sleep to the automatic AC adjustment when the sliding door was opened. Breakfast was another highlight, and I must give special praise to the pastry chef—the croissants were exceptional, even better than those from some renowned pastry shops. Extra credit to the chef for such a delightful treat! Overall, my experience at The Reef was truly memorable, and I’ll cherish the wonderful moments it provided.

Lovely resort. The swimming pool are perfect. Staff are very nice including Louise etc.

The service was superb. The staff was accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was great. I will surely book again.

We stayed at The Reef to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The view was breathtaking, and our room was clear, spacious, and comfortable. The gym was well-equipped, and the pool was clean. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the fresh and delicious bakery items. However, the restaurant’s other meals were disappointing, lacking in flavor. Additionally, they ran out of candles for the birthday cake, which was an odd and unfortunate oversight. Overall, The Reef offers beautiful views, great amenities, and a lovely breakfast, but improving the dining experience and attention to small details would make it even better

It is an amazing hotel with amazing service staff; everything at this place is AMAZING! It's not crowded, the best place to relax, and it has a clear blue private beach. The lady at the spa named Sherry, she's a fantastic masseuse! I'm definitely going to come back. It's also child-friendly. They have a kiddies' pool, playroom, and arcade games room.

This hotel is amazing and has the perfect staff, area, room, beach. Every my request was answered and resolved. I hope I could return this hotel because I enjoyed my trip especially staff. Breakfast was great. Also hotel has its own beach area when you can swim and snorkeling, but I recommend to use special shoes because there a lot of reefs.  I was after long trip and I could relax there.

Not a pleasant experience. The staff were unhelpful and lacked friendliness. Only 2 bottles of water were provided daily, which is insufficient—most hotels provide at least 4. The location was inconvenient for getting essentials The air conditioner was noisy, making it hard to sleep, and the hot tub water was disappointingly cold. Would not recommend.

This hotel is great and the staff really helpful, a great base for exploring Cebu. The surrounding area is not so good and would recommend a taxi to travel to the more popular locations. The food was excellent and a fantastic view of the sunrise. Great gym

recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The service was outstanding from the moment I arrived. I was pleasantly surprised to be allowed an early check-in, which made my trip so much more comfortable. The hotel’s environment is beautiful and well-maintained, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. What truly stood out was the staff—they were incredibly polite and welcoming, always greeting me with a smile whenever I passed by. Their attention to detail and warmth made my stay feel extra special. I highly recommend for anyone looking for great service and a delightful experience!

It is litte bit isolated, but the location is awesome. A minus is that the restaurant and bakery have the last order very early, no room service, amd if you check in late, you will not have from where yo order food and there are not restaurants in the neighbourhood, you need to go by Grab somewhere in the town.

Stayed 2 nights at The Reef Island Resort Mactan, Cebu. Seaview Room big & comfortable bedding, saw beautiful sunrise from room balcony. There are 2 infinity pools plus a kid pool. Easy walk to the private beach in front of hotel. Convenient to reach the town, short ride. Will stay again in this hotel.
