Hotel berhampiran Kyriazis Medical Museum, Larnaca

I’ll start this review with the few positives - We booked this hotel mainly due to its location, only 5 minutes walk to the seafront and in old Larnaca. The price we paid for one nights B & B was very reasonable. The reception staff very very helpful and polite as was the housemaid. Now the negatives - no parking available advised to use secure parking about 3 minutes walk - car park very tight negotiating the bends going up/down levels. Cost around €10 for 24 hours. The room was OK but even on 4th floor very noisy from outside activity. Bathroom OK but room could have been cleaner - hadn’t been swept/hoovered properly. Beds very soft. Breakfast was mediocre at best - on arrival we were asked what eggs, if any, we wanted. We then sat down after getting cereal etc. The scrambled egg, which was powdered, arrived whilst we were still eating our cereal. By the time we got the toast eggs were cold - asked for fresh but got ours microwaved! The bacon, beans etc were all lukewarm at best. Plenty of cheese etc if you wanted continental. One positive one of the best toasters I’d ever used. We planned on using the pool before we left the hotel but on arrival on the 7th floor we soon changed our minds. The pool itself was clean but surrounding area dirty as were the cushions on the sun loungers which were disgusting either lots of mold or stained. Toilets looked as if they had been hosed down rather than cleaned and showers were grubby and cracked tiles etc. The reception staff kindly booked us a taxi, there were 6 of us. If you are using this hotel and need a taxi please ensure they do not use “The Family Taxi Ltd”. They booked this firm for us and we needed to book a return later on in the evening - confirmed with driver time and location and asked for business card. Cut a long story short the taxi never turned up even after numerous calls to office and also hotel reception to make them aware. Finally managed to flag another taxi some 60 minutes after booked pick up time and a lot more money! We will not use this hotel if and when we visit Larnaca again.

The perfect hotel for the religious Jew. The amenities were basic, but the service was very good and the location is right next to the chabad and they have minyans every day. Also there is a very helpful tour office down the block where you can rent bikes and also get guided tours. All in all, I had a very good experience at this hotel.

OMG where do I start? A FANTASTIC little hotel just off the beach on a side street slap bang in the centre of Larnaca in the Finikoudes beach area and in Larnaca's old town. Absolutely, frigging, marvellously fantastic! Check-in was a breeze, the hotel super clean, the room huge and also, surprisingly SUPER CLEAN. It was absolutely spotless - whoever they have hired to clean the rooms does outstanding work. If I could bring them back to the UK to clean my own home, then well, how great would that be? There is fast Wi-fi, modern bathrooms with superb power showers and the room, for the budget prices it offers, has a wonderful selection of milk, tea and coffee. However, what is most surprisingly of all is the superb, efficient and excellent customer service provided by the manageress named Nadia. Not only is she one of the most pleasant hotel staff members I have ever come across but she is astute, assertive and extremely efficient, having helped me sort through a few hotel and non-hotel travel arrangements without hesitation. This excellent customer service, coupled with a bright, modern, fresh, efficient and superbly clean (almost hospital clean) hotel, confirms that Hai hotel IS my number one place to stay every time I visit Cyprus. Without question. Without hesitation. I will certainly be returning next year and look forward to staying in one of its wonderful rooms and dealing with their wonderful staff. Positive: Location, Room size, wifi speed, big balcony, free toiletries, fast elevator, microwave works, water boiler works, fridge works, free towels, toilet works, many restaurants nearby and a nice cleaning lady. Negative: Balcony door does not lock. Staff came to check it and said they can not do anything about it and told me there are no criminals and we dont need to worry at night if it is not locked and we can leave the valuables in the room even if the balcony door is open and the neighbours could easily just jump over the balcony. Nothing happened luckily and we were happy. There was bird poop in the balcony, but the cleaning lady was nice and cleaned it. There was no sea view and no sun chairs as in the photos. The staff said they cant do nothing about it. But the cleaning lady clean the bird poop and I just sun tanned then on the balcony without the sun chair and it was also nice. Sofa was a bit broken, dishes were very dirty and the toilet smelled very bad. The water in the shower was not hot, only warm.

Never felt the need to complain about a hotel stay up until now. We stayed with Onisillos Hotel from March 9th to the 11th and it was well and truly the worst experience ive ever had staying at a hotel. The windowsill in bathroom was vile, rotten and falling apart. Loose tiles in all parts of the room on floor and walls. We had to request to have the hot water turned on in our room for a shower and then the manager pressured us into having a shower quickly so he could turn it back off again. He kept complaining that every time the expensive part from the boiler breaks when people shower, he needs to order the part from Italy and will bill the customers for this. On the Friday morning we showered and then left our room for breakfast and to go and have a swim in the beach, when we came back to our room, we asked for the hot water to be turned back on so we could wash and get changed for the evening. The manager at first denied us having a second shower until I said we'd been in the sea and I need a shower to wash off the sand and salt... I was disgusted by him even denying us a shower when we were paying guests. The shower itself was broken and not fixed to the wall, had low pressure and the water was lukewarm at best even when boiler was supposedly turned on. Our TV had a Greek plug with a UK plug socket on the wall so we were unable to use the television. When we addressed this with the manager, he asked if we could speak Greek as this is the only language on local TV so don't worry about the TV if we cannot. Room was filthy under the beds/tables and we found mess under every bed including a water bottle in the bottom of the sofa bed with an expiry date from 2 years ago! Had to hand in our key when we went out in the evening which I've never had to do at any hotel I've ever stayed at. Hotel was generally old and dilapidated. All in all would avoid staying here. Awful.

Останавливался на 3 дня в отеле, по приезду в отель меня поселили в номер без вида на город, хотя я оплачивал именно такой номер. Менеджер сказал, что других номеров нет, только люкс с джакуззи за который нужно доплачивать, что освободятся номера только через 2 дня. На следующий день был другой менеджер, который меня переселил в номер с видом, и было большое количество людей, кто выехал из отеля. Потом было продолжение истории, о которой не буду рассказывать. Поставлю минус главному менеджеру за негибкость и неклиентоориентированность. Еще минус 0,5 балла за завтрак: каждый день всё одно и тоже, за 3 дня однообразная еда надоела. Нет переходников на розетки, их нужно самостоятельно покупать. По стоимости этот отель с завтраком стоил как отель mercury larnaca beach resort без завтрака. Лучше 4*, чем такой сервис здесь. На 3* не тянет.

Loving it here in lock down went to see a local doctor today by the name of Harold Shipman he gave me the local jab I said doctor Shipman will I survive he said of cause you will your not over 65 got to see him in 12 weeks time for another jab loving it here at the hotel so friendly nice and clean WiFi is so good cleaner's are very good I can't say nothing bad why is it when I say I could murder a pint everyone runs off I feel like I am at home I've got plenty of head and shoulders in the bath room can't wait for lock down to lift so I can see my mate jack the ripper best hotel the sunflower is

I had good stay at flamingo, clean , tidy n not faraway from city town ,40 mins walk from airport, beach is just cross the road, location is great , only WiFi is not working in the rooms , you have to use down stairs by reception area or even it is working out side the hotel , receptionist was very helpful , I checked in 1:00 am after midnight , no issues at all.

Awesome! Room was very clean, bed was so comfy, lovely towels, shower as hot and good pressure. Breakfast was amazing delicious and good value! I had the baked feta, my husband the traditional cooked and my mother in law the halloumi cheese. Staff really friendly and kind! Would definitely recommend.

we came family ( 4 double rooms) where all are adults. the hotel is beutyfull , freshy and stylish one. all facilities are wonderfull and breakfast is very good. all hotel stuff were very welcoming and gave us service way above expectations. the hotel has a nice private beach and that is great. the only problem is that the beach ***** around the hotel (not the hotel beache itself ) is not well maintained and need much nurturing . near the hotel across the street there are grocery and nice coffee restaurant. other restaurants are walking distance. we ejoyed the stay very much.
