First we receiver a room on 6th floor, 604. Outside the hotel, aprox 1 meter from the entrance there is a highway with 6 files, heavy and fast traffic 24/7. It was like the beds were placed in the middle of the highway, no sleep that night, called the reception at 5:30 in the morning to change room. We had two choices, one at the first floor at the highway and one with the view to a black wall, but quiet. A small room, probably a single room because there were only one towel and one papercoup. Well we felt the odour in the bathroom but not as heavy as day two, today. I nearly throw up and had to leave the bathroom. It said it should be shampoo with conditioner but of course it wasn’t, it was very dirty in the shower with a lot of black mowl. The hairdryer was screeming when I used it. My husband booked this as a birthday travel and stay during his birthday. It is the most horrible stay we ever had in a hotel and we have made many trips. In the description of the location of the hotel you get the impression that it is just beside the beach. IT IS NOT!! You are located at the highway. Do not go here if you are not forced to. We moved out two days before our check out and moved to a very good hotel, far away from the highway and close to las Canteras. Ps to the manager do not bother to explain this. Do your work and see to that all Windows Will be changed to 4-glass.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived here. The rooms are like a mini apartment, spacious, bright, clean and airy. There's everything you need to cook & clean. The bathroom looked very new and clean. The beds were so comfortable I slept better here than at home. Noise levels were fine in our room. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is exceptional. After reading reviews here I really was dreading my stay but the only very small things were that hotplate was fairly tired and the numbers had rubbed off, which didn't hinder anything, and there was building work on a couple of days that was out of the hotels control and didn't matter anyway as we were out most of the day. I truly cannot believe how lovely it was especially for the budget I will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend.

I love this place. Plenty of room to spread out around the pools and on the hotel's section of beach. Travelling solo, I feel very safe and totally invisible to other families and couples which doesn't make me feel uncomfortable being on my own and I keep returning simply for this reason. I thought the food was not as good as last year but was still plentiful and edible. Rooms and balconies are spacious and very clean, plenty of hot water and a mini fridge to keep your drinks cool. Only one negative, I thought the snack bar needed to be improved on bar service, clearing of tables and not loud music with staff shouting to be heard. I will return again next year!

Great winter getaway, we have been on over 15 Neilson holidays and knew it wasn’t going to be your normal Neilson holiday , apart from James who is absolutely amazing and cannot do enough you would have thought you were in a normal hotel , we loved the remote location as we hired a car from the car which I would say is vital , we ventured out late afternoon most days and saw the dramatic landscape. We did pay for full board however we ate out every evening as found the food ok but like warm which we didn’t fancy on an evening. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean , the resort is spotless and staff very friendly. We went as husband takes his bike with him and bike staff were amazing and he said the rides challenging which is what he wanted . Just be aware of the wind it is brutal! And also same as another post , sun lounges are all reserved by 8.30 !!

Apartments are up the hill which is a good walk or you can get a taxi for about €3.50. Plenty of taxis about.
Very basic apartments but they do include everything you need. you need to request fresh towels the day in advance.
There is a laundrette on site which charges €5 per wash, also a dryer for around same price. Beds not the greatest so Don’t expect a comfortable sleep but you get what you pay for!

A five star experience from start to finish began at checkin on our arrival. Friendly, professional staff directed us to our room which, despite the dark, promised a great view and was well furnished and spacious. We ate at Wok and Zen the first night where the great service continued alongside fabulous food. The piano bar offered live music every night and the group on Sunday were brilliant. If you choose to have dinner at El Faro, and I highly recommend that you do, then choose the croquettes! I have to mention Gloria on reception who went above and beyond to arrange a specialist excursion for me and for her help and compassion in helping my husband on departure. Had a very peaceful nights sleep. Rooms well appointed, comfy beds. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful inside, even better than the photos. Restaurant is lovely. It's the kind of place well-to-do folk come for a beautiful evening meal. And where professionals (company directors, airline pilots etc) would stay the night. Location is just superb, right on the beach. Probably works against the hotel in the winter with damp salty wind, but in summer I bet it's glorious. Anyways, think of it as a Travelodge with a view and an amazing restaurant and let the photos do the rest.

We stayed with a friend in a private room in a rooftop room. It was very nice, clean, and we had our own terrace! It was mostly quiet. If someone cannot stand noise than dont book this room as 2-3 times a day loud music was coming from the resort nearby (only short time, it was part of thr daily animation for the guests). We were surprised at the beginning but then it became part of our life :) The staff in the hostel is very friendly and easy going, the room was good sized, comfy beds, will be missed!

PPengguna TetamuWe had a nice clean appartement which was very spacious. The bed is really good, very soft and we slept like babies. Bathroom was nothing special but clean which is the most important thing. Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side. (8,- for 2 small orange juice). The staff was friendly. We would’ve liked to stay longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. The only downside was the 100,- borg that has to be payed with creditcard as we didn’t have one but we got the appartement anyway. I recommended this place to others if they’re looking to relaxed without the screams from tourists.
If you read this as a tourist please keep this beautiful island clean and show your respect. (We walked around with an empty bag picking up trash along the road)

LLouis ConnorExtremely welcoming staff and clean reception area, every member of staff took the time to greet us and smile! The decor is well considered and provides a luxury feel. We were offered a complimentary coffee whilst we waited for our room to be ready. The room has everything you need and we had a lovely view of the Arrecife coast. The beds were comfortable as were the other amenities with bonus points for a great bathroom and powerful shower! Towards the evening we spent time on the top floor in the hotels 'Solarium' which featured a hot tub and more glorious views of the Arrecife coast. We would not hesitate to book again as we found our stay to represent excellent value!

Yes, price is good and to it's location, it is close to shopping centre, restaurants and supermarkets. Staff are helpful. Buffet breakfast is good. Breakfast restaurant is on the top level of this hotel, we can enjoy stunning ocean view and sunlight while having breakfast. It is bonus. However, a minor thing I like to share is during busy morning especially when restaurant is full house, it always running out of coffee cups, juice glasses as well as cereal bowls. I cannot have to wait a long while for these 3 times from my 5 days breakfast. Maybe hotel can put some signage to suggest guests be eco-friendly minded to re-use glass, cup and bowl when refill. As I have seen some have 5 -6 cups and glass on a table. Bed is comfortable, room is clean with basic things you need. Yes, no electric kettle, no slippers as standard 3 stars hotel do. So, I have no complaint. There has no more noise from constructions, as this is my concern after reading other travelers comments in the pass. So I think all is done. Hotel locates next to taxi, bus station but not close to beach area. It's no problem to me for this winter travel. I am very happy for all. Definitely recommend it to others.

The property is very clean and my room was cleaned everyday. The management are extremely helpful. The management will go out of their way ensure that guests needs are met all times. Carla is lovely as are everyone else works there including Sandi the manager The view from the top veranda is stunning. The guests can sit and have a drink and chat together on the veranda. As a solo traveller you would never be lonely and its very safe. Everyone talks to each other when up on the veranda. You are made feel welcome by both management and other guests at all times. There is always someone to talk to. I felt we were like a big happy family. There is free tea and coffee at the property. I would highly recommend Pension Magec as its very central. Fabulous time was had by all 16 of us. Loads of activities for young and old, you can be very active or just chill. Food was amazing, lots of choice and fresh every day, cakes, pastries and bread were delicious. Pools were clean and apart from x3 big pools, there was an Olympic size pool, a shallow pool and a splash park. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned everyday, everywhere in the hotel was clean mind. Entertainment team were really good fun and evening entertainment was varied. All inclusive option really good value. Drinks were proper drinks and not watered down( like you get in some resorts) and the bar snacks available throughout the day were very good. Cake was arranged for my husband’s 60th birthday at no extra cost. Very good location, very good bus and taxi services at very reasonable prices, not far from town where good choice of bars and restaurants if needed. The staff work really hard and you get the feeling that they really enjoy their jobs which made our stay a very welcoming and relaxing one. This resort has got it very right. Thank you all so much, none of us wanted to go home 😀

PPablo Altvarg JuffeEl lugar esta bien, pero tal vez hayan mejores hoteles por el mismo precio. La Playa de Caleta de Fuste es ideal para recorrer la isla porque esta en el centro de la misma, con un coche tienes 1 hora para arriba y otra para abajo desde este hotel para ir a las mejores playas. Tambien te puedes relajar en la playa que tiene el hotel con una piscina artificial hecha por el mar muy linda.

This is my true and honest review of these apartments My wife and I stayed her the few days of September and into October for a week. We went all inclusive which to be honest was a mistake, more on that later. The resort itself is lovely, nice and compact, pretty flat, lovely promenade and easy to find everything. Chances are if you have a coach transfer you will be dropped off near to the aprtments, Villa Floida, and then have to walk about 100 metres to apartments Check in was quick and easy and staff spoke good English. The apartments are only ground floor with another apartment above, but I found the open balconies for the apartments did not offer much in way of privacy. Main living area is large, bedroom was a decent size. There was a TV in room with about 6 British channels, BBC and ITV. There was a rather questionable stain in the bathroom floor that loked like it had been there for year. Apartments are a bit dated but are cleaned each day There was a free standing fan in bedroom for air con. Now when we went it was hot and fan sort of did the trick when we used it. However in high summer I reckon it would be unbearable in rooms Pool area is decent and pools are walk in, pools. BUT there is a severe lack of sunbeds. There is around 50 sunbeds around pool with a further 12 in upper terrace. Considering there must be maybe 100 apartments, simply not enough Wi fi is available in reception area and outer parts of pool area closest to reception but not in rooms or at bar. Entertainment at night is truly appalling. It is mainly karaoke and or bingo. The animation guy does his best but he aint no singer. Some of the guests were even worse, if that is possible. There were a couple of ”acts” on during my week there and to be fair they were OK When you arrive you are given a drinks token which you excgange for your drink. Each time you want a new drink take your plastic glass back to bar for a refill Bar staff and dinner staff are great as are reception staff. Now the big one. The food. We went all inclusive Breakfast was excellent, cereals, yogurts, cold meats, eggs pastries, bread, fruit and best of all a full English brekkie if you wanted Lunch and dinner were a choice mainly of pork dish, chicken dish, fish diah or pasta dish. Generally it looked pretty un appestising and most of the time it was. It was usually warm at best, I know we Brits like our food hot. Chips were nearly always cold and the kids meal mainly consisted of croquettes with a filling or fish fingers, again usualy cold. There was also souo to start and it was basically the same soup all week, which was pretty tastless. You could also get salad dishes. Fresh fruit, small cakes and ice cream for desert. Now that sounds decent enough, I am not a fussy eater but even I stuggled to like the food.
