It was alright. 4 star in Europe is weird because is no where as good as 4 star in Asia

After staying in Neurembergs Novotel we were excited to be returning to the brand, however.. Hmm the decor and style of this hotel is very dated and the room we stayed in although passable for business travellers, was dated and needs renovation. The hotel itself is very practical like a motorway business hotel, but definitely lacking character and charm for the price we paid. I found the cafe very overpriced for coffee, I guess due to the location and lack of surrounding facilities they can overcharge for internal services. But overall disappointing, staff were in a rush to get us in and out and couldnt help us with a baby cot on the day we arrived which was also disappointing. I think for business travellers looking for a clean practical hotel this is fine but as holiday travellers I would definitely be looking for a different experience next time.

Great for an overnight stop - rooms clean, good size and very comfortable. No noise at all during the night. Lovely, friendly staff at reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast had a good range of options. We didn't eat in the restaurant during the evening. EV charging on site (though slow), a secure car park (but Tesla superchargers 10 minutes away). There's a bus stop opposite the hotel where, for €1.50 per person, you can ride into Nancy in 20 minutes and avoid parking hassles.

We had no advance reservation and chose this hotel because it was close to the highway. The Novotel chain hotels vary quite a lot by location so we were a little skeptical when we drove in. We are so very glad we stopped here. The desk clerk was friendly, helpful and had good English. The room was clean, well furnished, and with modern lamps and furniture. Bathroom was clean. HVAC control, safe, and hair dryer are behind the pleated fabric door for the closet. Bathroom is clean but only pump soap, etc, and no wash cloths. I did not like the supplied toiletries. The parking is gated and opens with a key code when you exit. I don't remember if it opens on auto when you drive in or if you have to buzz the desk. We did not try the in house restaurant for dinner as the menu was limited and not to our liking. Breakfast was wonderful. It was freshly prepared, well stocked, and with a helpful attendant nearby. We liked this hotel so much we. have booked it for our upcoming trip this year.

Great Hotel , friendly staff and excellent room. Booked evening meal on arrival for 8pm. That evening was told to get a drink at 8pm and table not available yet. 15min later show to table inside which was ok. But why were guests given outside dining straight after us, appreciate the restaurant was busy but the hotel needs more staff and more organisation. Ample parking on site and definitely a family hotel as loads of Kids running about. Pool was good, very clean and a great area next door for snacks & drinks. This was a lovely place to stay and fantastic for a one night stopover.

Great rooms, spacious and clean with plenty of facilities. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was generous and tasty. Well situated and with free on site parking. Easy check in and clean and well equipped bathroom. I will certainly use this again for a stop over on my way south.

Stayed here overnight on a journey south in France with friends. The staff were friendly efficient and keen to please. The restaurant managed to go that wee bit further than other hotels in the Novotel chain and provided good food with good service. Is on the list to use again in the future.

This hotel is is well positioned. Upon arrival we were seen by the receptionist relatively in good time even though she had a long queue. Bedrooms are good size but sadly my bedroom smelt of sewage. Bed was extremely comfortable & a good size. The following morning we went down to breakfast and there were flies all over the food. Now I appreciate the hotel can't stop flies from coming in from outside but they can cover the food - sadly this put me off having breakfast. I did inform the receptionist upon checkout and he deduct the breakfast from my bill I would not stay again nor recommend this hotel

Decided to discover Nancy for a quick weekend getaway. Hotel is situated near the motorway and is easy for driving down into town. Executive Room was comfortable if a bit small. Sofa bed for the third guest is a bit hard. Bathrooms are compact but adequate and separate WC is useful when travelling with a teenager. Rooms have been renovated recently. Oddly, the safe was not yet secured to the cupboard. Reception and breakfast staff are friendly. There is a feeling of understaffing though. For example, the sofa bed had not been prepared on arrival. Breakfast choice is fine and varied. We did not have time to swim, but the pool area looks nice and the pool is quite large. From the parking, the hotel was full while we were there, but everything worked well. Some guests are completely inconsiderate when it comes to parking and yelling to each other, but that is not the hotel‘s fault. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again if in Nancy or in nearby Lorraine.

Stayed overnight on our return to Calais, and found the hotel to be extremely busy. The rooms are standard Novotel rooms but our bathroom was quite small. The up side is that it does have ai-conditioning. The pool area is OK, but it is quite small. The food, again, typical of this type of hotel but ok. Expensive for what you get, and several area's, the stairwell's, need attention. Stated loud for the noise levels, but this was only in the main public areas. Would probably find somewhere else next time.

We arrived at the Novotel, Nancy with only 8 km range left on our electric car, on a cold, foggy night. The Reception desk welcomed us, connected us to one of the chargers in the hotel parking, and sent us off to a comfortable room. Later we had a fine dinner at the hotel restaurant. A very family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
