Warm welcome (and Au revoir) by Daisy. Large hotel foyer with amazing Christmas tree /decorations. Room spacious and nice views of the canal. Ground floor bar good, Sky Bar amazing!! Less than 10 minutes walk to Leeds Trinity Shopping Centre. Leeds Arena 20 minutes, pleasant walk at top end of city. Drinks at this hotel cheaper than at the arena and you don’t get given an half pint plastic glass for your wife’s Prosecco!! Preferred Double Tree to the Hilton hotel positioned on busy main road. Staff all genuinely friendly, credit to the hotel.

The location is excellent for the city centre. The room was on the 6th floor. It was clean, spacious. The bed was comfortable. The tea and coffee pods were good quality. The reception was polite and friendly. This is my go to hotel when staying in Leeds

Kakitangan hotel bersemangat, ramah dan lengkap. Ia dihiasi dengan ***a klasik. Waktu daftar masuk adalah pukul tiga, tetapi kami tiba lebih awal, sekitar jam 11:00. Saya berlari ke hotel dengan bilik merah, jadi saya bernasib baik untuk mendaftar masuk lebih awal. Kesyukuran

I had wanted to stay in this hotel since I was a kid, so I was looking forward to a bit of comparative luxury after only ever using Travelodges and B&Bs. It may be my funny coloured hair and tattoos, but the security asked to see my room key repeatedly throughout our one night stay. Went outside to pick up some shopping- show keycard. Went to reception with an enquiry- show keycard. Popped outside briefly- show keycard. Return from night out, show keycard to enter hotel, show it to approach the lift, and again whilst waiting for lift. It was worse than Manchester airport security and made me feel very unwelcome. Which was a shame, as check in was lovely and we were given a room with a bath as requested, so I had high hopes. I won't bother in future, and will stay at a Travelodge, as it's clearly more my level

Fab stay thank you! Friendly staff who go above and beyond , coffee/tea/hot chocolate and pastries on tap comfy beds what more could a girl ask for! Definitely enjoyed my stay that much thad I ended up expending the trip by one more day. Perfect location too- not too far from town but then also next door to quite a few restaurants and takeaways. I would most definitely stay again.

everything is great except the location is not very ideal the bar downstairs is nice

Staffs are very good , polite and cordial to interact. I liked the morning breakfast and night beer in the pub area. Drinking water was an issue in the bedroom as water bottle or water mug was not served or not available in the room. Size of each bed was very small untill you club both together and use as single bed.

Nice and clean hotel in a good location with friendly and helpful staff. The room was a decent size as well.

Very good option for price and excellent location. Really well located for the train station. The decor, however, is dated and rough around the edges, but it is comfortable and the man on reception was very helpful. I’d happily stay again.

Stayed for one night in a private room mainly because of the cost & location. I’d read a few reviews prior to my visit so was reasonably prepared. The manager is ‘different’ - I found him okay but others may find his attitude & demeanour a bit intense. The room itself was okay, basic but reasonably clean. I found my bed comfortable & actually slept very well. The separate toilet (one floor up) didn’t flush properly & I decided not to use the shower in the morning. There was toast, cereal & hot drinks available in the morning. The place overall is fairly basic but the price compared to the cost of a hotel is good & the location excellent too. Having chatted to the manager I deemed him okay personally but others find him very different. He’s been there a long time & probably needs a change in his life direction.
