Hotel location is ideal, just 5 mins walk on the connecting bridge over from train station. It seemed not crowded when we checked in, and realised it’s next to their convention center so reckon the hotel is catered for business travelers. But it’s very convenient and it’s linked to a mall next door, readily with eateries and supermarket, shops. Hotel breakfast is so-so, variety is not that much and taste is average.

What a remarkable experience! The inability to find words speaks volumes. Everything was flawless, meeting high Western standards. Additionally, we inadvertently left a sweater in the room as we continued to Tokyo. Upon contacting the hotel, the staff were immensely helpful in resolving the issue. They efficiently arranged for the sweater to be delivered to Tokyo, saving us considerable effort and allowing us to continue our journey peacefully. The service was exceptional, especially considering that the responsibility was entirely ours. Absolutely outstanding service..

JR宇都宮駅の東口から徒歩5分ちょっとの位置にあるホテルです。今回、サムティの株主優待を利用して宿泊しました。 部屋は広くはありませんが機能的にまとまっていました。新しめのテレビや大き目のベッド、デスクも使いやすかったです。 滞在中はフロントにある無料のカフェコーナー（15:00～24:00、6:00～）と、部屋にも持ち出せるコミック類が嬉しかったです。 株主優待の宿泊では朝食が付かなくなったのは少し残念でした。

Currently staying here for 2 nights and this is night 1. Location is nice and scenic.The room and view is pretty HOWEVER our room smells and smells bad. Not sure if they gave us a smoking room (which I did not request) or the room just smells. Asked a staff person and either they didn't understand me or it really is a smoking room. Staff tries with english but ive not had much luck. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash is little packets in the lobby which i had to search and find. I went down to the desk to ask about shampoo and the older gentleman ducked into the room behind the desk and didnt come back out because he spoke no english. Also, wifi is pretty much nonexistent in room 1503. The buffet option is kind of eh, not really as many options as the pics make it look like and it's not very warm but it was edible i guess but over priced. I wouldn't stay here again if I'm in the area and would suggest trying a different hotel in the area. Then starting at 8am either they are renovating a room near us or there's no sound proofing between rooms judging by the banging noises. It would be a nice romantic place to spend a night maybe? If there are unsmelly rooms. Almost every other person staying here we've seen has been elderly (60-70+) and that should kinda tell you the type of person this caters to. I've stayed in worse.

This is my third trip/adventure to Japan. I would say as a solo traveler this has to be one of the very best places I have ever stayed in when travelling around Japan. I came to Nikko np to explore the vast array of hiking trails, all of which I did, had breathtaking views and a poetic, truly majestic Japanese feel to them. I rented a car from Nasushiobara (Shinkansen) and drove across to Kinugawa. On arrival I was greeted by a host of the hotel staff, welcoming me and helping me with parking and my bags. I checked in with ease and with some broken English and Japanese on my part was led to a beautiful traditional Japanese style room overlooking the river. The service throughout was world class and made me feel both very comfortable, at home, but also special. I stayed 3 nights with half board (breakfast and dinner), both truly amazing and served with grace and politeness. On the first evening’s dinner one of the serving staff took the time to speak with me and allowed me to share some of my recent experiences/photos etc whilst preparing dinner - this was most welcome, especially as I had been travelling alone for over a week. The location of the onsen hotel is about 60 mins drive to some of the most sought after walks in the np. Very easy to access by car and excellent roads. The accommodation itself is a mix between very traditional Japanese resort and original/boutique Ryokan. The private and public onsen’s are fantastic and a well deserved rest-bite after a long days hiking! Having been to some of the most popular ryokan’s in Japan; Iwaso, Claska etc, this came as a very nice surprise and at an affordable rate without any compromise. My wife and I booked the Nikko Station Hotel II for April 13 - 15 as a non refundable reservation. This week, the US State Dept issued a Level 4 warning for all US citizens to avoid international travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In spite of their normal policy, the Nikko Station Hotel II made an exception due to the COVID-19 pandemic and issued a full refund. We will reschedule our trip to Japan after the pandemic passes and WILL DEFINITELY rebook at the Nikko Station Hotel II, as they have shown excellent customer service in a difficult time!

Arrived at Hotel and parked the rental car in the car park for free. Staff were very efficient and check in was very quick. Japan is still very Covid conscious and masks are worn everywhere. We were advised that there were were facilities for making Tea/ coffee in the room and that we should take any provisions required (for free) from the table arranged in the lobby i.e. tea / coffee / toothbrushes..etc. Room was lovely and spacious with a comfortable bed and lovely en-suite- lovely deep bath (shower fixings would be low for taller individuals). They had an evening bar and Onsen (natural hot water spring separate for males and females). They had a restaurant that provided an extensive buffet menu for breakfast - very tasty, and they had a select menu for the evenings and what we tried was very tasty also. The staff in the Hotel and restaurant were most friendly and encouraged me when I attempted some Japanese words. A very lovely start to our holiday in Japan - Thank you for your hospitality, we would happily stay here again

Centrally located and close to the shopping *****.and their Tobu mall. Lives up the name Grande impressive lobby and rooms. Banquet Hall designed for weddings. Large comfortable rooms. Heating on cold weeks. Basement carpark charged at Yen1300 per day multiple every and exit. Very service oriented staff. Will stay again.

1泊2日の素泊まりで利用させて頂きました。 鬼怒川という栃木県でも有名な宿泊地でも、大人2人で9200円という驚きの低価格。 今回は素泊まりと言うこともあり、食事は付かなかったのですがホテル大滝さんでは食事の提供をしておらず、別館に移動して食事はいただけるようです。 周辺には買い物が出来る場所も、食事をするお店もないので素泊まりで宿泊される場合は、事前に食料・飲料を購入してからチェックインするのをオススメします。 フロントにてスナック菓子・カップ麺・自動販売機等は有りますが割高です。 お風呂は1度外を出て別館の大浴場へ移動する必要がありますが、湯加減・質感共に良くのんびり温泉を楽しむことが出来ます。 また、客室は風呂・トイレ別となっていて清潔感もあり綺麗なので大浴場で入浴が出来ない方もオススメです。 さて、肝心の客室ですが2人では広すぎる10畳のお部屋でした。 残念ながら川沿いに面している訳ではないので眺めはあまり良くありませんが…鬼怒川を囲む山々を眺めながら広縁でのんびりする事も出来ます。 冷暖房は古い床に設置型の物でしたが、効きは文句なく扇風機も置いてあるので部屋全体の温度を整えることが出来ます。 ただ1つ気に入らなかった点は、ロビー・フロアのトイレにはウォレットだったのですが、客室のトイレにウォシュレットが付いて居なかった事くらいです。 どうしてもウォレットが良いという方は各フロアにある共同トイレを使用しましょう。 さて、肝心のお部屋ですが

Asaya is a large onsen hotel rather isolated from stores, shops, and restos. Inside there are lots of them but I could not find a cup of coffee at 4:00 AM. There is free tea dispenser in the lobby. We all had access to the Premiere Club room by 6:00 AM where we could enjoy snacks and drinks and coffee. Breakfast is served for guests. We ate there and in the main dining room for one of our breakfasts. I loved their beef jerky which I took to my room to eat later. The main dining room for breakfast and dinner offered a hidden room with semi-privacy. The size of our tatami room with Premiere access was just enormous -- about as large as any hotel room I have ever had (one exception was in a Las Vegas hotel). The floor was mainly tatami mats but bamboo flooring in the bathroom and toilet rooms. The housekeeping is immaculate with daily service. There's a long queue just before dinner at 5:30. The food was delicious and plentiful with steak, crab legs, tempera, sashimi, and other seafoods. I enjoyed the soft serve.

This place was a mix of good and bad. Our room had a good view and the location was excellent to the train station. It had a microwave which was good as restaurants close up early here. The bad, cleanliness not up to Japanese standards. Had a balcony, but you couldn't get out to it. We arrived before check in time and got charged 1000 yen to leave our luggage till check in time. A bit pricey for what it was.

I loved my stay at Nikko Kanaya. First, there is a complimentary shuttle to pick you up from the train station (only a few pick-ups so you might want to schedule your train accordingly); otherwise city bus will drop you off but you will have to walk up a slightly long driveway. You are greeted by the nicest staff; everyone was such a delight! I stayed in the older part of the hotel, and it is old. (I heard that they renovated one building, but pretty expensive). I had room 54 - paid $369 for 2 nights - included a western breakfast, and dinner. Great deal! My room was spacious and had beautiful views. There is a slight odor, and I thought it might be musty, but I was in a wood shop later on in my stay and recognized it to be the same smell. So there is a ”woodsy” odor; the floor seemed to slightly slant, but it didn't bother me in the least. The breakfast is a Western style breakfast - you can order traditional Japanese breakfast 24 hours in advance, at at addt'l price; the dinner was absolutely amazing - 5 courses and just beautiful The history of the hotel is displayed throughout, and it is an amazing story. So many dignitaries have visited here. Great location - directly next to Shinkyo Bridge - I walked to the Shrines/Temple from the hotel - bus picks you up in front of the hotel if heading to Lake Chuzenji. I would definitely return - lovely!!

premiumにリニューアルされたということで体験しに行って来ました。元々、大江戸温泉物語の中でもアルコール含むフリードリンクのラウンジがあり露天風呂の雰囲気が良くお値段手頃な宿だと思っておりました。 リニューアルはラウンジ、レストラン、大浴場がpremiumな感じになっておりました。 客室は主に上位クラスの客室のリニューアルだったのかな？スタンダードの利用なので大きく変わった部分はわかりませんでした。洋室のカーペットが新しいかもしれません。 ラウンジのおつまみがなくなり飲み物とアイスキャンディのみになり、夕食は今までの感じに卓上でセルフの海鮮蒸しやちょっと贅沢なデザート🟰ハーゲンダッツ、蒸しプリン、ホットアップルパイなどがあり、大浴場は色々と使い勝手が良くなっていました。 私でも気付いたpremiumチェンジはこんな感じです。お値段もpremiumになってしまいました。

The location is superb! There's a few malls around as well as restaurants. Supermarket is located at 1st floor. The hotel provides the lounge area too.

エレベーターホールの廊下に薄い壁一枚で直面したベッド。タバコの灰のようなシミの着いたシーツ。 狭い部屋で汚い。 写真とはまったく別の代物です。 トイレ付きのユニットバスは狭い汚い臭いの三拍子。 立地に胡座をかいてるのかもしれませんが、 もう少し誠実な仕事をしてほしいです。 色々なホテルに泊まりましたがホテルマンを含めこんなに不快な思いをしたのははじめてです。 三連休で値段は一名11000円二度と泊まりませんが、他の方の参考になればと思います。

ゴールデンウィーク中日。旅行の中継地点で一泊利用。本来四人で二部屋を予約しましたが。家族一名急遽来れなくなってしまい二部屋三名で宿泊。フロントの方も他のスタッフさんもとても感じが良く部屋もすべて新しいです。何よりも朝のバイキングの質がとても高いです。和洋どれもとても美味。個人的には焼き鯖が気に入りました。コーヒーも豆の味に雑味が無く美味しく頂けました。スタッフの方のサービスもとても感じ良く好感が持てました。お値段からそんなに期待していなかったのですが子供も大喜びで大満足。

Nice hotel in this location. Room is little more spacious than few other hotels in the same location. Staffs were friendly. Room was clean and well maintained. Bed gives an excellent sleep. Breakfast option is good in the restaurant located within the hotel premises. Located within 5 mins walk from Utsunomiya station and to nearby eateries and restaurants.

宇都宮駅東口から近い位置にあるが、東口はLRT関連の工事が行われていて、ぐるっと回り込んでいかなければならない。工事は2022年8月までの予定になっている。 設備はダイワロイネットホテル標準。広めの部屋で、静かであり、快適。 周辺は西口と比べて閑散としているが、コンビニや居酒屋、餃子屋など最低限なものはある。 賑やかな西口に出ようとすると、工事区域を回り込んでいかなければならないのが多少面倒かもしれない。

Yahooトラベルで土曜日5000円以下で泊まれるホテルは限られます。このホテルも残り1部屋でした。本館と新館があり、フロントは本館側にあります。本館のシングルルームに泊まりました。おそらく建物は1970年代前半に建てられたと思われ、昭和の雰囲気が残ります。と言っても、1人での宿泊なら快適ですが、線路に近いため新幹線が走っている時間帯は、時速200キロ以上で通過する新幹線の走行音を楽しむことができます(人によっては苦痛かも)

とても清潔なホテルでした。 ダブルベッドの1人タイプの部屋に泊まりましたが広さも十分です。 部屋に入ってしまえばコンテナだということを感じさせない雰囲気です。 車移動なので、ドアを開けたらすぐ目の前が駐車場というのも楽で助かりました。 またリピートしたいホテルです。

ルートインの標準的なホテルです。公式ホームページやエコ清掃で自販機で使えるコインが貰えるのは地味に有難いです。ルートインは駐車場が広い為、バスがよく止まっていますが、今回は高校生の部活で2校が重なり至る所で待ちが発生し、至る所でマナーの悪さが目につきました。朝食会場では事前連絡で混み合うと聞いていたのですが案の定かなり待たされました。急ぎの場合は斜向かいのルートインでも朝食を食べる事出来るそうです。朝食会場での混雑の原因は　おかずは片手でよそえますが　ご飯や味噌汁は一度お盆を置く必要があり、さらに　よそう量が多い為に時間を要して渋滞していました。配膳も大変だと思いますが、団体客が利用する場合はご飯、味噌汁をよそっておくか、サポートして頂けると待ちの緩和に繋がると思います。

雪の時期でもあるので、駅から送迎バス(要予約)に乗り宿へと向かいました。宿までそこそこ距離はありました。 到着するとますば専用スロープカーで降ります。まずこれが宿へのワクワク感が増します。館内もキレイでかつ部屋もキレイでした。 部屋の天然温泉風呂に入れるので大浴場にはカラダを洗いに行ったくらいであとは部屋で温泉を楽しめたのが本当に良かった。 一つ注意？が必要なのは携帯電話の電波が届かないので電話はスロープカーで上がっていくかホテルの電話しか使えません。Wi-Fiはあるので通話以外は困りません。 またお伺いしたい。

街中にドーンと立つバブル期に建てられたと思われるホテル。 どうも車のナンバーを見ていると日帰り温泉の客が多い印象。 エスカレーターを上がって、フロントへ行く。 ロビーは広々として、無料のお茶自販機が設置されていた。 室内は広く普通のホテルと同様だった。 茶菓子もあり、一応旅館風の一面もある。 食事は会席料理そのもの。値段相応で真新しいものはなく、ごく普通。 小学生の子供用の料理は前菜にハンバーグ、カニクリームコロッケととても量が多かった。 松茸ご飯ですと言われたものの、うーんとうなるほど、どこにあるのかわからないくらいシメジの存在が大きかった。 最後のさつまいものムースが特徴的だったかな。 大浴場は広々として内湯も露天もゆったりと入れる。小さいサウナと水風呂も完備。 源泉１００％と書いてある通り、肌がすべすべになっていくのがわかる。 少々熱めの湯ではあったのだがこどももずっと入れたので、適温なのかもしれない。 シャンプー類は２種設置されており、温泉で作った石鹸も置いてあった。 入浴時間は２４時間で早朝に掃除が入るくらいで、あとは入るのは自由。 朝ごはんはバイキング形式。おかずが少なすぎて、口コミとはちょっと違った。 これもいたって普通のバイキング料理で、特筆すべきことがない。 連れはカレーを食べていたが、具のない業務用のカレーと言っていた。 ビジネスホテルの朝ごはんを想像してもらえればいいのだろう。 ただ、朝食も夕食も会場が最上階のラウンジなので、景色は抜群。 もう１回来るのかどうかで判断すると、微妙。 周辺にホテルがなく、競争相手がいないため最低限のサービスで成り立っているから。 連れが言うには、お茶の自販機にコーヒーを置くだけでももっとお客は喜ぶだろうし、荷物も持ってくれたらお年寄りもうれしいのではないかとつぶやいていた。 一応、街中にあることで、便利という点は利点としよう。

ちょっとレトロなホテルで、自分が泊まった旧館のお部屋は、電話が黒電話でした。 半日くらいのツアーをやっていたり、ロビーで朝市をやっていたり、栃木や小山までの送迎をしていたり、色んなサービスをしているのが印象的でした。 この値段でよ**こまでやってくれるなぁ、と。 お風呂はどれも良かったです。貸し切り風呂以外は24時間入れます。 7つの扉が並んだ貸し切り風呂は、見た目からしてワクワクしました。 食事はカレーやもつ煮など、特に豪華ではありませんがのんびりと美味しくいただけて満足です。ソフトクリームが美味しかった。 塩原温泉には見どころがいっぱいあって、全部は見きれなかったのでまた行って、こちらに泊まりたいです。

まず、ここの口コミの「悪い」および「とても悪い」は過去の経営者時代の口コミ。ホテル名も違いますね。 さて、今回は「じゃらんnet」経由で予約したものの、入口すぐのタブレットチェックインでトラブル。予約コード？そんなもん来てないぞ？ 自分が見落としたのであれば申し訳ないのだが、事前に予約コードが送られていたらしいが分からず。フロントで確認してようやくチェックイン。ちなみにフロントには外国人の男性スタッフ２名が対応。流暢かつ丁寧な日本語で対応されたので不快感はないどころか、これがホントに丁寧で日本人よりずーっと心地よい。 部谷もリノベーションされていてキレイ。ラウンジの飲み物、品数はそこまで多くないものの、必要にして十分。 食事もバイキングながら、それなりに美味しかった。しかもアルコールまで飲み放題。 貸切露天も入れて、これで１万円チョッとならば大満足ではないか？塩原の定宿確定である。

安定の金額と清潔感と広さ。素泊まりで寝るだけなら十分です。今回は朝早く出発でしたので朝食付きにしましたが朝６時半からレストランがOPENするのも助かりました。バイキングでしたが品数も多くて美味しく食べれました。家族での滞在なのでせめてキーは2枚欲しかったです。また利用するつもりです。ありがとうございました。

以前から温泉の評判が良く、川岸の露天風呂の景観も素晴らしいため、気になっていた旅館でした。 今回、旅行支援もあり縁あって宿泊。 老舗で由緒ある旅館かと思っていたのですが、建物だけでみると、ちょっと老朽化したスタンダードな旅館という感じ。 従業員も非常に少ないです。 そんなわけで、お世辞にも十分なサービスがあるわけでなく、料理も品揃えや味など、ちょっと残念。 （お米だけは美味かった） サービスと料理を考えると宿泊代はもっと安くても良いのでは？というのが本音。 しかし、名物である温泉は泉質、お湯の使い方（贅沢な掛け流し）景観など、全て文句なし！ 宮城県の作並温泉を思い出しましたが、こちらは川岸まで降りていく階段（建物）の老朽化が激しく、非常に急な部分もあるため、足腰の悪い高齢者には無理ですね！ （冬場はヒートショックも怖いかと） 残念ながら人は選びますが、とにかく最高の露天風呂です。 温度の異なる浴槽が4箇所あるのも嬉しいですね！ 朝の7時から8時までは女性専用時間もありますが、夜にもあと1時間設定してあげても良いのに…と思います。 逆に、その時間帯は女性専用の露天風呂を男性に開放してほしいです。 内風呂には異なる源泉の浴槽が男女別で1箇所ありますが、こちらは単純温泉で、メインとなる源泉と比べると成分も3分の1以下なので、まあ、無理して入る必要もないかな？ 内風呂の換気窓には蜘蛛の巣が多かったので、ちょっと清掃は頑張って欲しいですかね… おそらく使っていない部屋なども多く、現代のニーズを考えると無駄に大きな建物にもかかわらず、従業員は少なく維持するだけで非常に大変かと思いますが、とにかく、あの素晴らしい川岸の露天風呂に入るだけで宿泊の価値はあると思います。 清潔さやアメニティの充実にはこだわらないお湯好きの方にはお勧めできる宿です。
