Hotel Daerah Shizhong di Leshan

The hotel is a convenient walk from Leshan train station. The staff were all very friendly and made communication via WeChat easy. They were very helpful in making travel arrangements and suggesting local restaurants. The room was very modern and spacious and the shower had amazing water pressure. We had an early start to see the Leshan Buddha and the restaurant kindly arranged some dumplings and bao for us to take on our journey as we were too early for breakfast.

Very good place with very good value for money. Also the location is very good they have a parking lot right in front of the Hotel which is very convenient and the service and hospitality of the people who work there is great. they helped us a lot with some inconveniences we had outside the hotel and with recommendations of things to do. We stayed in the top floor room on the ninth floor with a mountain view, very nice for Leshan. We traveled with our dog and they were very kind to him at all times.

It is a beautiful hotel at a fantastic location. You can walk to the Buddha park - 20-30 min - and it’s next to the ticket office, where they also run a shuttle bus to the giant Buddha. The hotel is very well designed and the rooms are very well presented. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely come again.

The city of Leshan was one of our favorite stops during our trip to China. We went to see the Giant Buddha, and it was absolutely amazing—definitely a must-see, especially from the boat view. Our hotel room had a stunning view that honestly didn’t even compare to the pictures. It was even better in person. The toilet alone was next-level! It was pretty cold when we visited in March, but the overall experience made up for it. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We paid about $60 USD for one of the best views, and that price also included a buffet breakfast for two people, which made it an even better deal. They also had two small washer machines available. I believe they offered detergent, but we chose to use our own. The only downside is that there’s no traditional dryer—just a heated drying cabinet. You can only hang about five pieces of clothing at a time, and it takes around 1.5 hours to dry. We ended up hanging some of our clothes in the laundry room, and the staff was kind enough to rotate them for us while we were out for the day. Before traveling to China, I highly recommend downloading WeChat (for communication), Alipay (for payments), and Didi (like Uber). Not everyone speaks English, but many people will communicate with you through WeChat, which was super helpful. We also paid for a half-day extension for about $15. Our original room was already booked, so they gave us a smaller room, but it allowed us to enjoy our day and come back to shower and get ready before heading to Chengdu. If you plan on shopping, Leshan is one of the cheapest places to do it. We bought two large suitcases for $17 and $18. They were basic plastic with a simple key lock, but they did the job—we made it all the way back to Los Angeles with them. One wheel did fall off after the flight, but honestly, it was still worth it. We didn’t want to spend money on expensive luggage for a one-time use. There’s a store about a five-minute walk away—it’s like a colorful, open-style dollar store where you can just walk right in. Overall, the staff and experience were amazing. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice clean and big room. Staff is very helpful. Good location surround with lots of restaurants and shopping mall.Near train station that makes traveling to emeishan easily. Only issue is smoking at lobby by guests.

這次入住這家酒店，感覺非常滿意，性價比很高，出行也很方便，就在世豪廣場附近，我們下高鐵站打車過來，幾分鐘就到了，附近也很熱鬧，有小吃街，還有商場可以逛，房間裏的電吹風風很大，我還問工作人員要了連結，床品也很舒適，樓層高夜景很漂亮。

Super friendly staff and wonderful location! Minutes walk from the food street and the view from my room was stunning! Though the space inside room for dining is very limited, they have a nice common dining area with view to the river. The welcome fruit platter was lovely and the breakfast was hearty. Also enjoyed the free laundry room! Had my clothes washed and dried within hours (the washing machine has built-in in detergent dispenser). Would definitely stay again if I visit Leshan in the future:)

The service and room was exceptional. When we didn't completely understand the location of where breakfast was served, they had a shuttle take us directly there. Breakfast was delicious with a large variety in the buffet. The room was spacious, with all the extras, and extremely comfortable. It was tastefully decorated to fit in the Giant Buddha park. The room was spotlessly clean. The luxury towels felt wonderful. Location is excellent as it is in the Giant Buddha Park. Hotel and the location was extremely beautiful.

位置:在高鐵站正對面，步行10分鐘左右，非常方便，是一個比較冷清的商貿城，但是酒店打理得很好，有獨立的電梯，不忙碌。 衞生：每天都有阿姨打掃，非常乾淨，床單地面都是乾淨的，一次性用品也有的更新，提供礦泉水，非常好。 環境：有中央空調，非常暖和，樓下也不吵，周圍有店鋪可以吃東西，不過可能是因為地處高鐵商圈，價格小貴一些。 周邊:步行20分鐘就是長征社區，非常有50年代感覺的老社區，很悠閑，也很好拍！ 設施：該有的都有，前台後身有個半層是玻璃房，可以晾衣服！有洗衣房，帶簡易烘乾功能。房間也很寬敞，美中不足的是隔壁半夜九點多找不到房間按我這間的門把手，尤其是帶孩子的一家人半夜入住真的吵的要命，建議半自理能力的人羣前台幫忙帶進房間。再一個是房間隔音一般，不過半夜還算安靜我就謝天謝地了。還有洗澡間的淋浴水流特別小，幸好我在外面理髮去住兩天沒在這裏洗頭，要不然洗頭洗澡水流巨小真的會惱火。洗手池的水就很大哦。 總體:比較滿意，如果下次來我還住這裏。酒店走廊有靜音毯，很貼心。前台姐姐24小時輪崗，晚上就用行軍床湊合著睡在前台，冬天也就十度左右，真是辛苦了。

The most notable parts of our stay were the service and the hotel design. Firstly, the hotel is beautifully designed with such a peaceful atmosphere. Secondly, we experienced some issues with the amenities but the service by the front desk and other staff was excellent. Our issue with the amenities was a shower that did not drain the used water, and therefore prevented us from using the bath tub which was meant to be the defining point of our stay at the hotel. Once the water finally drained at midnight, the drain started emitting a stale, moldy smell that filled the room.  The front desk staff were quick to understand and apologize for the issue with the amenities and stated that they would resolve it ASAP for next guest.
