Sehr schönes Hotel mit viel Stil und orientalischen Bauelementen. Die Hotelleitung und Rezeption-Team 24/7 sehr freundlich und professionell, ein kleiner small-talk oft dabei - man fühlte sich familiär. Traumhaft schöner Eingangsbereich/Bar mit klassischen Bildern und Flügel auf dem man spielen darf. Frühstücksbuffett sehr dekorativ mit allerlei leckeren Sachen von schmackhaften Eiern bis zum hausgemachten Gebäck. Grosser Dank an das Service-Team: Sara-Consolato-Salvatore und Giuseppe - der wie ein singender Tänzer in bester Laune das schöne Buffett ergänzte. Ich durfte schon um 6 Kaffee bekommen und den märchenhaften Meeranblick mit Sonnenaufgang geniessen. Der Strand wunderschön und Ivan/Giovanni sorgten gut für Sicherheit und nette Atmosphäre. Danke! Die Zimmer sehr sauber, geräumig, mit super Terasse und guter Klimaanlage. Die Servicedamen perfekt, sehr nett und taktvoll. Danke. Die Lage ermöglichte zur Ruhe zu kommen und die 20 Minuten zur Ortsmitte waren ein toller Spaziergang fast am Strand. Viva Italia-Viva Silemi! Grazie! Very nice hotel with lots of style and oriental building elements. The hotel management and reception team are very friendly and professional 24/7, there is often a little small talk - you feel like you are in a family atmosphere. Fantastically beautiful entrance area/bar with classic pictures and a grand piano that you can play on. Breakfast buffet very decorative with all kinds of delicious things from tasty eggs to homemade pastries. Big thanks to the service team: Sara-Consolato-Salvatore and Giuseppe - who complemented the beautiful buffet like a singing dancer in a great mood. I was able to have coffee at 6 and enjoy the magical sea view with sunrise. The beach is beautiful and Ivan/Giovanni took good care of security and a nice atmosphere. Thank you! The rooms are very clean, spacious, with a great terrace and good air conditioning. The service ladies are perfect, very nice and tactful. Thank you. Well , we had a love/hate relationship with this hotel. We were 2 couples in the 60 to 75 age group. Location : The Good : It is on the beach with a few steps down . The beach is shifting shale and small stones and swimming shoes would be advised, The pool is nice ish size and warmed by the sun. Most of the time it is nice temperature , but we got a few cooler days and it got colder. The view from the bedroom balcony is fab,The upper and lower terraces are great for sitting and relaxing and a few drinks/ lunch. Location : The Bad :It is possibly the last hotel on the seafront and 20 mins walk to the ***** of Lessojanni.There are no shops or eating places around until you go in to the ***** . Rooms :The Good: There are 3 floors with 11 rooms on each facing the sea , and 11 rooms facing inland. We had seaview rooms wit large balcony.The rooms are large and exceptionally clean. Fridge and safe (free).The cleaners do a fab job. Rooms : The Bad : The TV on the wall is ancient and the size of a computer monitor . The key is a big metal clunk with 3 keys , one for the lights , one for the safe and one for the door. We never turned it on. Lifts : there are 2 lifts , one slightly bigger . The small one is the size of two street phone boxes and can only take 4 , or 2 with luggage. The other one is only slightly bigger, but there was no problem getting them while we were there. Dont know about high summer when full. Food : Breakfast : From 7am to 10 am This depends on what one expects from a 4 * hotel. They only provide a tray of Scrambled eggs and a tray of thin chopped sausages in the hot bay . No rashers , mushrooms , fried tomatoes , fried eggs. The rest of the items are the normal 3/4 serials Yogurts /fruit/ ham/ cheese/ salads ( in small quantities ie tomatoes/salad/ cucumber in small bowls and some days not replaced when gone. Bread is limited to loaves which you cut yourself. No rolls or other selection .There are other bready type in sealed packs. Tea and coffey is from a machine but is good. Dinner: We asked what time dinner is at and were told that the resturant was closed . I asked what time it closed at and was told AUGUST ??.but you can eat from the Snack menu at night . Snack Menu : One page menu listing 2 types of salad/ 2 types of Burger / a few pizzas / 2 types of sandwiches./french fries.This is available all day. However , one night we were tired after a tour and decided on something light so went for the snack menu for dinner. We ordered burger and Chips. We were told "Sorry -No chips at night " Lunch : they do a lunch menu form about 12 till 3pm. This generally has 2 sword fish offers , Lasagne and veal . Same every day. However dont provide at night -- Why ?? Staff : The staff are very friendly and helpful . especially Salvo who served us drinks and snacks every day and couldent do enough to help. Pool /beach Umbrellas: There are 35 umbrellas with two sunbeds, half on the beach and half at the pool. We had no problem

The restaurant and staff were lovely, the view is as advertised - but that is where the good bit stops. The hotel badly needs an upgrade - the furnishings were tatty, the bath leaked (and the shower was in the bath so no avoiding that), the air conditioner clunked all night, the curtains didn't draw. Everything felt like it hadn't been maintained since the sixties. For the price they are charging you can do MUCH better elsewhere.

From the moment we entered the hotel, we were welcomed very kindly and hospitably. The hotel is located at the seaside, on a beach where green and blue meet. We would like to thank all the staff working at the reception, room cleaning and restaurant, especially Giuseppe. Even though the hotel building is a little old, it is very clean and the rooms are quite spacious. The balcony and sea view in the room were great. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. There are buses to Taormina from the bus stop on the street right behind the hotel 5 times a day, but unfortunately we were only able to take the bus 3 times during our stay because it did not arrive, that was the only problem we encountered. If you cannot take that bus, there are Taormina buses from Letojanni center 15 minutes walk away and they work without any problems. Silemi Hotel is a 10-point facility with its seaside location, proximity to the beautiful restaurants on the Letojanni beach and the magnificent Taormina, cleanliness and excellent management.

Where do I even begin?! Don’t let the shiny white facade in the photos fool you! This hotel is about as far removed from that as you can get, the last lick of paint it had must have been a very long time ago. Let’s start with the hotel itself then. The last time the hotel was painted must have been the last time the pool or the rooms were painted, not to mention the rooms being painted in multiple shades of white, looked very cheap. The beds aswell were hands down the worse I’ve ever slept on. One of them was so soft your butt sank right through, and the others so stiff it would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. You’d have thought being in Sicily and by the sea there’s plenty of fresh produce, the breakfast was about as cheap as you can get, not to mention the coffee. I’ve had some terrible coffees around the world but who’d have thought that some Italian coffee tops the bill as the worst. Whilst on the topic of the sea, the beach here is purely stones. If you want a nice beach, stay away from here and stay in the town of Giardini Naxos just down the coast. The town of Letojanni is also as aged as the hotel, and not in a lovely Italian kind of way, more of a backstreets of Blackpool kind of way. The local “Italian” restaurants only cater to the tourists too, not what you’d call authentic, leave the town for that. The neighbouring town of Taormina is absolutely gorgeous, if you want Italian character and atmosphere, spend a little more and stay there, you won’t regret it! I’m really not sure who’s been writing these positive reviews but combined with the hotels photography they certainly fooled us into staying, never again! Would I recommend Sicily for a visit? Absolutely! Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely not!

I’ve travelled quite a lot but this is so far the most beautiful place I’ve been to in Italy. Myself and my son have been coming here for few years now and we truly adore this place and will keep coming back whenever we can. The location is absolutely perfect, even better that you would expect. The private beach is a gem, quiet and crystal clear sea. The rooms have breathtaking sea views and are always spotlessly clean. The staff is professional, friendly and kind. Marcello, Giuseppe, Sara and all the others would do anything to make your stay perfect. The swimming pool is always clean and perfect for kids. The breakfast is so abundant and delicious with a great selection of pastries, cakes, eggs and fruit. The restaurant and snack bar offer a large selection of very tasty dishes. Park Hotel Silemi is the most amazing place and I would recommend it to anyone!
