Had the good fortune of spending the weekend in one of the hotel’s top floor suites (adjacent to the conference facility on the 11th floor). Full disclosure - I had pretty low expectations coming in due to an unfortunate previous stay at this hotel, but that changed completely the moment I stepped inside the suite. It was spacious, comfortable and luxurious with enormous floor-to-ceiling windows and a HUGE terrace facing the city and Globen. The HVAC system was the best I've experienced in a Swedish hotel (a far cry from the regular Nordic systems that keep you freezing in the winter and sweating in the summer), the water pressure amazing and the finishes stylish. That said, if I were to nitpick, it wasn’t perfect - outlets were almost non-existent, a couple of spotlights were out-of-order, there was no shower gel in the shower, the TV was too small for a room of this size and there was no privacy shade for the giant window between the master bath and the bedroom. The housekeeping staff had generally done a very thorough job, with the exception of a part of the terrace that contained a half-eaten orange from a previous guest. These minor issues did, however, not detract from the overall experience and this suite easily ranked amongst the best Swedish hotel suites I’ve stayed in. The hotel has an excellent location, friendly staff and reasonable pricing, easily earning them a full five stars for this stay. I can’t wait to come back to the same suite :)

Brillant Location, fascinating hotel interior concept with a camping atmosphere. The design language of the hotel is everywhere. Since its an ”affordable luxury” quantity business modell the rooms are scaled to the minimum maximum. If its fully booked the very good breakfast shifts into a factory atmosphere.
We were very pleased - we discovered Stockholm almost by walking only. Despite of the darkness because of dimmed light inside and the flaws - would book it again.

Super fijn hotel op een top locatie naast T-Centralen. Vanaf Arlanda luchthaven met de Arlanda Express naar het centrum en dan 5min lopen. Alle bezienswaardigheden binnen bereik. Kamers zijn mooi, aan de wat kleine kant, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid, goed en gevarieerd. Het hotel heeft een zonneterras op de 11e verdieping met een mooi uitzicht over de stad. Ook een leuke sky-bar voor drankje of diner. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Voor herhaling vatbaar. Down comforters, scenic view from our large window, large screen tv, clean bathroom with shower, free Wi-fi, self check-in (we didn’t have a reservation so we had to check-in with a staff person). We had a “Compact Double” Room for 1,689,00 SEK (about $156 USD) and it was worth it!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und haben einen Balkon mit 2 Stühlen und kleinem Tischchen zum raussetzen. Wir hatten unser Zimmer hinten raus und haben auf den Wald geblickt. Die Zimmer vorne raus kosten mehr, da seeblick. Wir waren mit unserem Zimmer sehr zufrieden, da es sehr ruhig war. Vorne kann man Pech haben, wenn zb Firmen da sind, die Meetings machen und dann abends unten sitzen an der Bar. Da hat man dann den Lärm direkt vorm Zimmer. Sitzt keiner draußen kann man toll aufs Wasser schauen und die Kreuzfahrer beim ein und auslaufen betrachten. Kann man aber auch wenn man einfach runter geht. 😊😊 Das Frühstück nimmt man in der tollen alten Villa ein. Ein sehr umfangreiches und ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Eier in verschiedenen Varianten, Obst, Gemüse, verschiedene yogurts, Wurst, Marmelade und vieles mehr. Und vor allem frische Säfte und mein Favorit das selbstgemachte Knäckebrot 😍😍😍 Freundlicher Service und aufmerksam. Das ist ein toller Start in den Tag. Vom hotel aus ist man in ein paar Minuten unten an der Fähre, die man mit der grünen SL Karte nutzen kann. Rentiert sich auf alle Fälle. Toller Aufenthalt. Und ach ja, fast vergessen. Im loungebereich gibt es kostenlos Wasser, Tee und Kaffee. Es gibt auch andere Sachen, wenn man die nimmt muss man sich in die Liste eintragen. Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel. Gerne wieder.
