We had an unforgettable stay at Nell Hefengting Hotel, thanks to the outstanding service from Mo Chen. Even before we arrived, he was already assisting us and continued to go above and beyond until the moment we left. The hotel itself is spotless and very well-maintained. Our room was on the fourth floor, accessible by stairs, and it was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Mo Chen even carried our luggage up without hesitation. Anytime we had questions or needed assistance, he didn’t just reply to our messages—he would come up personally to help. His warmth and dedication were truly remarkable. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient. We are from Singapore and were pleased to find that halal food options were available nearby, making it easy for us to enjoy our meals. The hotel is also close to all the main attractions in Lijiang, making it easy to explore the area on foot. After a long walk, we returned to the hotel, and my wife, who wasn’t feeling well, was coughing. Mo Chen noticed and offered to make us Pu’er tea, which was unlimited and such a thoughtful gesture. His service is simply unmatched. Mo Chen made our stay incredibly special, and he is one of our best memories of Lijiang. We would return to this hotel not only for its cleanliness and convenient location but also for the exceptional service he provided. Truly one-of-a-kind!

Cozy and elegant accommodation nearby Lijiang Dayan Old Town. The room are warm and rooftop offers a full view of old town and snow mountain. Staff 邓邓 very friendly and gave many local tips, included nearby attraction and restaurant, also booked Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tour for us, highly recommended.

I am a foreign guest, this is my first time in China. The hotel owner proactively texted me via Trip 1 day in advance to contact to pick me up at the airport. Everything was very good, the room was very comfortable and clean, she also bought a tour to the snow mountain for me. If I have the chance to come back, I will still choose to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is located opposite the Lijiang Ancient Market and a few halal eateries are just few minutes down the road. The staff were super helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with the 101 queries I had. A lovely touch was the complimentary afternoon tea, which included a delightful selection of fruits and pastries. This is hands-down the best hotel service I've ever experience.

Nice hotel with a fantastic view of the Lijiang ancient town with yulong mountain. Great location just opposite of the ancient town. Unlimited supply of mineral water and 鲜花饼. Highly recommended! Hotel is clean too. Owner 邓邓 is responsive too

Fantastic homestay experience with smart and modern renovated room. We stayed 2 nights in a family oriented room at 3rd floor. The host was very helpful and passionate i.e. arranged complimentary pickup from Airport, moved our luggage to the room, daily tea time at roof top with stunning city and mountain view, recommended eating places and etc. Would like to take this chance to express our appreciation for the great services given by the host.

The hotel boasts cleanliness, comfort, and stunning vistas of Lijiang Ancient Town. Situated conveniently, with a variety of dining options nearby, it offers proximity to the heart of lijiang ancient town. The standout feature, however, is the warmth and hospitality of the staff, led by the friendly manager, 邓邓. They not only provided excellent service but also guided us to must-visit spots in Lijiang, ensuring a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

It's a great venue. Nicely designed, comfortable and with extremely helpful staff eager to show us the authentic Lijiang. I have been to Lijiang several times in the past and was sometimes put off by the fact it's very touristy but thanks to Nell's team, this time was great.

Location : Great. Convenient, a stone throw away from LiJiang ancient city. Check-in ‘counter’ - staff is helpful and passionate to recommend restaurants, herbal shop. But Did not gift us tea pack as stated in booking page for more than 2 nights stay and did not inform tea will be served with reservation Room for 3 pax : At best average, there are differences in configuration as displayed on Trip.com. When we approached one of the person in charged, to provide mug for 3rd person, he brought paper cups. For environmental and green purpose, proper mug is more sustainable. Kettle is placed on a desk near entrance with no power point. The staff impatiently told me to boil water on bedside table where there is a power point. House keeping: below average. We are shocked that they intruded into our privacy, opened the room door although we did not request for housekeeping and we are in the room !! Service : excellent service rendered by a lady manager in charged. She recommended and graciously brought us to a shop nearby to buy 三七，天蔴，藏红花 which she assured it is a trusted shop with good quality and fair price. Bathroom : modern smart toilet but occasionally the sensors are not functioning as it intended Photo : did not bother to take photo as the room is below expectation. Room Rate : Cheap
