This hotel features unique wooden architecture with high ceilings in the rooms, and the blackout curtains are absolutely fantastic. The courtyard is spacious and grand, with a superb combination of a dry landscape garden and natural wood tones. It doesn't have the cramped feel of typical Jiangnan gardens, and you can even get a distant view of the snowy mountains from the backyard. The value for money is also excellent. The coffee shop at the entrance, which they partner with, is perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the autumn scenery.

The location is very close to the East Gate of the ancient town. The butler and front desk staff are exceptionally warm and provide thoughtful service. The courtyard view is also very beautiful!

The environment here is great, and the staff, especially the young man, was very helpful. He picked up our luggage from the East Gate and even brought it to our room. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious. The hotel is right at the entrance of the ancient town, and there are restaurants nearby, which is very convenient.

Drawn in by the beautiful courtyard, which was just as stunning in person as in the pictures. It has an antique charm with a touch of local ethnic flair. The room amenities cover most needs for a stay, offering great value for money. On nice days, it's very pleasant to stroll and have tea in the courtyard. After taking a taxi to the ancient town, staff picked us up on a small motorized tricycle. The service was warm and attentive. We even received complimentary drinks from the owner when dining in the ancient town. Breakfast included self-serve rice noodles and other buffet items, and the quality was quite good.

Sitting in the garden, soaking up the sun, and gazing at the snow-capped mountains is incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The room design is also excellent, with a well-thought-out layout. My favorite part was the shower—the water pressure was strong, refreshing, and comfortable. The butler service was also very attentive; they recommended great restaurants in the old town and even gave us some peach blossom wine. I highly recommend it; I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Shuhe.

This courtyard hotel makes you want to stay a second time! As soon as I pushed open the hotel gate, I was amazed by the courtyard. The greenery was beautifully arranged, and even the corners were clean and elegant. Sitting on a wicker chair with a cup of tea in the morning instantly swept away all my travel fatigue. The service was absolutely fantastic. From helping with luggage and patiently explaining the facilities during check-in, to promptly responding when I needed an extra pillow mid-stay, every staff member greeted me with a smile, as friendly as if they were old acquaintances. The biggest surprise was breakfast. Fresh milk and bread, freshly made rice noodles – the ingredients were fresh and delicious, and even my picky eater child was super satisfied. Next time I come to Lijiang, I'll definitely choose this place again!

A very convenient guesthouse, everything was easy – parking, breakfast, accommodation. Nothing was exceptionally good, but the overall relaxed and comfortable vibe was palpable. It was very pleasant.

The room's soundproofing is really poor. Personally, I still liked the place, but the staff would come right on the dot to rush us to check out, with no flexibility or human touch. Everything felt very by-the-book.

He was constantly looking out for us: he'd give us excellent recommendations for local excursions, and if we ever had a small request, he'd fulfill it immediately, as if he had 'superpowers.' And let's talk about the hotel itself. The cleanliness? Absolutely spotless. Every nook and cranny was so clean it practically shined, making our stay incredibly reassuring. The ambiance is just breathtaking. The ancient-style architecture combined with the meticulously maintained courtyard, lush green trees, and vibrant flowers make it feel like a paradise. You just relax the moment you step inside. The facilities are also top-notch; all the amenities in the room were exquisite and very convenient to use. This was my second time staying here, and they've added a coffee area and a gym. It's super close to the east gate of the ancient town, and they offer luggage transfer. The backyard has a stunning snow mountain view, making it perfect for a vacation.
