Perfect gelegen nabij centrum. Simpel maar erg schoon hotel. Kamer was ook netjes en leuk personeel. Parkeren kan in garage bij het hotel.

I must admit - seeing some less than stellar reviews, I came very close to canceling my reservation and going with another hotel. I am glad I did not. Honestly, I am not sure why there are complaints as if everyone is perfect. The hotel is great! Beds comfortable, showers clean, views beautiful. AC works nicely. Any time I asked for help - Ambre and Nicolas were super helpful. Whether changing my room due to proximity to the elevators, to just simple reservation help in the city - they did above and beyond. And every day greeted me with a polite smile. What else can one ask for? Meals - breakfast and dinner buffet is very nice, with wide variety of food. For those complaining, my recommendation - there is SO MANY DIFFERENT CHOICES! Do not concentrate on a few you did not like, concentrate on ones you did. After all, this is what buffets are about, right? CHOICES!. They even have Big Green Egg, and they smoke delicious meat on it, from sausages to salmon! Location - a great location, close to train station and walking distance to museums, park, old city. Room Cleaning - sometimes I would leave my ”Do Not Disturb” sign a bit longer. And they would still clean the room, and would not forget the turndown service - putting chocolate on a pillow, closing curtains. Loved it. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you guys! Will definitely come back. I hope I get my 917 :)

Séjour très agréable du 17 au 18 mars. La proximité de la gare est un avantage évident. Accueil de journée ou réception de nuit impeccables. Contacts, avant et pendant le séjour pros et sympas, l'équipe semble dynamique ! Nous aurons plaisir à revenir lors d'une étape lilloise.

The reception area and breakfast room are lovely and modern. Staff are great and the breakfast is plentiful... so no complaints there. However our twin room was tiny and the shower room had a dreadful drain smell. We did let the receptionist know and on our return from dinner the smell appeared to have gone but in the morning it was back sadly. Also we both like a cup of hot drink before bed and before going down for breakfast and no kettles are provided at this particular hotel. Its their policy to charge for use of the machine outside of breakfast hours. We also got the vibe from when we booked in that they didn't really want to clean the room unless necessary. It would not be done as a matter of course. I think trying to keep costs down by not having kettle with tea/coffee/sugars to have to replenish every day included. Less electricity too. I get what they are doing but ... 😔.

Bellissimo soggiorno a Lille nell’hotel Ibis Centre Grand Palais. Camera piccola ma con tutti i confort. Staff gentile e disponibile. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights (2 adults and 1 baby). The room was fine, a little dated but spacious enough for what we needed. A cot bed was provided, which was good. There was a decent hairdryer and mini fridge, which was useful. There was a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities but we found that the kettle was really old and leaked water everywhere. There was no milk for the tea, and only paper cups. Our main issue with the room was the bed. Although the mattress was comfy, the bed frame seemed to be some sort of temporary one which was extremely squeaky every time we moved. Not helpful when you have a baby sleeping in the room. We did hear a little bit of noise on the first night but not a lot the hotel could do about this as it was from the street outside rather than from another room. The positive about this hotel is the location. It's only a 12 minute walk from the main square, which was perfect for us. We also found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming on check in. They allowed us to check in early even though we arrived 2 hours ahead of check in time. Breakfast was pretty good, with a decent selection on offer. Overall, a pretty good find for the price we paid but could do with some basic improvements to the room.

On the last day of our stay I had to get onto reception to clean room no toilet paper no clean towels. The receptionist said you were in your room. That's why we could not clean it, so 8 said OK my husband and I will go out for an hour. We came back and the maid was just finishing off the room. The walls had filled in holes and wood hip paper over them. The toilet no bleach down and had to use my hand wipes to clean toilet. You have to mind all the steps when getting out of toilet and bathroom, also make sure you shut your hotel door properly as it does not shut itself. The breakfast croissant were greasey, I took my own teabags. As the ones they had were mint and the coffee pod machine was filthy don't use. We stayed in room 306 avoid, as you will here very loud noise off buses, cars beeping there horns at each other every night and day. Before the pandemic we stayed in room 308 that was OK. When you try to speak to reception they don't understand you unless you speak in French. Breakfast we went for 6am and around 7am was absolutely full no seats or tables. Seats are like wood and metal tables all wonky. One of the machines were broken in breakfast area. One of the breakfast staff always swapping things round when your trying to have a quiet breakfast. Like setting bowls and hot plate up again. Say its a 2 star instead of 3 star, the microwave you can only put microwave chips on from carrefour. Lille is 4 times expensive now and beggers argue with you and follow you around till you give them money. If you don't give beggers money they try to take your bags off you and I think got the jest they are threatening you. You have to walk away from them quickly. We will never go there again.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights as a family of 5 adults in 3 separate rooms. On arrival the staff were absolutely amazing and so welcoming and accomodating. The staff ensured that all 3 rooms were on the same level as each other and placed the single traveller (myself) across the hall from one of the other rooms to ease anxiety of being alone. The room itself was clean and really lovely. There was a large double door that opened onto a Juliet Balcony that had a beautiful view of the square and clock tower. It was really central to everything and walking distance to most attractions. It was serviced by 2 underground secure carparks that was great for our rental car. It was lovely and quiet at night but still close to all the action. The cleaning staff were so lovely and always greeted us every morning. We cannot wait to stay here again one day soon hopefully.

The hotel is excellently located opposite the main train station where the Eurostar arrived. The area was very quiet and also within walking distance to pretty much everything we needed to see so we walked everywhere and never needed public transport. The lobby of the hotel is cosy and very welcoming and the people at reception were friendly and very accommodating. The room was nice and the beds very comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that but we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
