Average room. Location is good.. Lindau is beautiful and should visit

Not bad at all

The room supposed to have air conditioning. Was a 35 C° heat and when we called the management asking for a new room or if they could fix the air conditioning problem, they simply hung up on us. After one hour a rude man showed up with a small dirty fan and said we would have a discount in the end of the stay. We never saw this discount. I do not recommend this hotel.

We stayed on the second floor in a room with a double + single bed. Comfy beds. Windows overlooked a park where there was a lively food market (over by 7pm). You can walk to everything in the island easily from here. Very quiet at night. Bathroom was across a little hallway, not directly in our room, but that was fine for us. It’s had a stylish renovation and was lovely and clean. Breakfast had a vast array of breads, cheese and meats, 2 types of eggs, yoghurts, cereals. Teas and coffee. We communicated in English fine.

The location is good, however the receptionists were rude and talking so loud that it was very annoying. The old German receptionist woke me up at 9 o'clock to checkout even when the official website says 10:30. He almost got inside the room to make me leave. He said that other people would check-in soon. Besides that, the breakfast looks nothing like the advertisement, therefore I only ate once in the 6 nights I was there. The room wasn't very clean, there was hair everywhere.

Avoid this hotel. It is a private home turned to hotel for quick money. I stayed for 5 nights for a conference. The location is good, reachable by public transport and a supermarket is just besides the hotel. However, the trouble starts when you meet the guy who works there. He is very loud, rude and intrusive. He reminded me 3 times to checkout at 8 even though the checkout time is 10:30. He shouted at me all the time for no reason, even though I spoke in German all the time. Once I caught the guy going through my bag and he claimed he was just cleaning. Although the woman who owns the place is a nice lady, but struggles with English. The breakfast was very less and not upto the mark. There are much better hotels than this one. avoid this place at any cost unless you want some complementary insults by an illiterate person.

I stayed in Hotel Seerose for 7 nights for a meeting on Lindau Island. The room was booked by the organizer, so I could not make a comment on price/performance. In general I enjoyed my stay and the services, but the it was not possible to communicate effectively with the hotel receptionist using English (I do not speak German). I would suggest non-german speakers not to book this hotel, unless you are prepared to take all services as-is without complaining. Pros: - Good Breakfast - Great access to the Inselhalle - Have supermarkets and bus stops nearby - Bathroom is very clean - Provides many clothers hanger - The female receptionist is polite and approchable Cons: - Room floor and hidden areas are not well cleaned. Living spiders and dead insects lying around the window. Neither was cleaned up during daily room services. - The male receptionist does not show hospitality towards guests in general. He is assertive and sometimes rude. For instance, he approached me during breakest (~7:45am) and I was demanded leave the room by 8:30am to make way for room services. He showed an attitute of not accepting any questions/negotiations for the arrangement, and only repeated his demand in English. - Both receptionists do not speak or understand English well, sometimes just responding to single vocabularies and not comprehending the meaning of an entire sentence. Therefore, I had to refrain from making enquiries/requests/complains on hotel services.

We never got to stay. The hotel was rude when we called them (speaking fluent German) and it totally put us off. They tried to say we couldn’t amend our booking as it would affect their tax bill? What rubbish! We tried to leverage the flexible booking and cancel but the hotel blocked this. Avoid

Extrem schmutziger Gasthof. Betten voller UNGEZIEFER!!!!! Tiere die ich gar nicht wussten, dass es sie gibt. Krabbelnd groß und klein. Eine sah sogar aus wie ein Zecke. Unvorstellbar widerlich. Ich habe im Auto geschlafen, da die Anreise sehr spät war und den Schlüssel sofort wieder and die unbesetzte Theke gelegt. Gesundheitsschädlich! Bad und Sofa mit langen Haaren voll. Gänge vollgestellt mit Müll, der mit Handtüchern überdeckt wurde. Kostenloses Parken ist 15 min entfernt und ist nicht kostenlos. Muffig überteuerte Bude. Es ist kein Hotel. Die Fotos haben nichts, aber auch gar nichts mit der Immobilie zu tun. Und wenn man den andere Bewertungen glaubt, was man dringend tun sollten, kann ich noch froh sein, oder er, dass ich dem Eigentümer gar nicht begegnet bin. Ans Telefon ging auch niemand.

Das Zimmer war völlig in Ordnung und auch die Lage ist wirklich sehr zentral. Es gibt wegen des Denkmalschutzes keine Jalousien. Und es war etwas hellhörig. Das Frühstücksbuffer ist klein aber fein. Leider gibt es keinen Kinderstuhl. Das ist zumindest ein Manko für Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Nach 16.30 Uhr benötigt man für den Check-in einen Türcode. Der versprochene Rückruf kam leider nie. Parken kann man im Parkhaus Gegenüber. Da hatten wir vorab falsche Informationen erhalten. Der Hotelbesitzer drängt sich teilweise etwas auf. Und sein Schimpfen über „Kanacken“ eröffnet die Frage, ob das Hotel für internationales Publikum geeignet ist. Wir werden eher nicht wieder kommen.

Nicht buchen - totale Abzocke! Ich habe für ein kleines Doppelzimmer 256 € über Check 24 bezahlt. Das „Hotel“ ist insgesamt schmuddelig, genauso wie die eher unfreundlichen Besitzer. Überall steht irgendwelches Zeug rum, Putzutensilien, Kisten mit Wäsche etc. Man denkt hier offenbar wenn man ein Handtuch drüberlegt ist es schön … Das Zimmer: kaputter Boden, durch die Tür hört man jedes Geräusch, schmuddelig, Bad unterste Kategorie. Ich kann nichts positives finden und ärgere mich um soviel Geld gebracht worden zu sein. Wie konnte mir das passieren? Im Internet gibt es ganz nette Fotos und einigermaßen gute Bewertungen. Die Wirklichkeit sieht ganz anders aus

Rien à redire pour l’apparence de l’hôtel. La chambre était propre, mais la salle d’eau peu pratique. Entrée dans la douche coincée entre le lavabo et la vitre de la cabine de douche, lavabo trop haut et manque un porte papier WC. Espérons que les autres chambres avaient quelque chose de mieux.
