What a truly phenominal experience at the resturant of Memmo Principe Real Lisbon. My family have traveled across the world and have never experienced the holistic quality of service, quality of food and quality of care demonstrated by this hotel and resrurant. The magic began with the call with Vanessa who accommodated our needs with two young children. Eduardo at front reception was so warm, courteous and helpful. Vanessa continued to accommodate our family needs. We received absolutely world class service from Akemi who served us during the night. Vanessa and Eduardo helped ensure our ride back arrived successfully. Anyone looking for world class service, world class quality food, and a care above and beyond, should visit Memmo Principe Real Lisbon. A warm-hearted thank you from our family who tomorrow return to North America. This experience will remain a key final memory in our Lisbon holiday for years to come. Busy again after the pandemic it’s great to enjoy this hotel back to its old self - it was still good, but a bit sad and quiet, for my last visit a year and a half ago. Thanks to the concierge and other front of house staff particularly Filipe, José, Bruno & Jorge for their friendliness, humour, quick attention and excellent English - although once I’d revealed I’d been learning Portuguese for a couple of months, they were happy to help me practice. The location is unbeatable, the rooms distinctly luxurious, and restaurant Matiz (separate review to follow) as good as ever. The only slight criticism, Matiz while a lovely space cannot cope with peak breakfast demand for seats. Perhaps time to re-open the original basement breakfast room?

Very good hotel and would definitely stay again. The room was large and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the sheets crisp. There was a full door window that opened and we could let in fresh air every day. The bathroom was spacious and had a tub. There was a small fridge. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a variety of fresh fruit, plain yogurt, seeds, nuts, eggs, bacon, and pastries. There was fresh orange juice and a Nespresso machine. They also have gluten free bread. Just ask when you go in for breakfast and they will get it in the kitchen for you. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect because it is parallel to Avenida da Liberdade. Just a 10-15 walk down to the main square. It was nice to have the stroll back after an evening meal and could also enjoy the trees along the avenue. The only minor negative was there was no mini-mercado to pop into on the way home if you wanted a snack or some drinks. Just pick something up before heading home. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

We came across this place by chance wandering Lisbon. Our server Joao was amazing! And the food was very good, had the seared tuna was delicious. The vibes are pretty chilled in there - nice music. The rooftop was unfortunately closed due to bad weather but we snuck out for a look and the views were stunning.

We went with our 6 week old baby and left our other 2 (5years old and 2years old) back in UK with my parents. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and having a bit of luxury again. Our short stay in Lisbon was great and it was made even better with The Vintage hotel who were always so helpful, accommodating and friendly. I’d like to add I usually miss my bed when we go away but at The Vintage I didn’t - it was so comfy!

we stayed four nights and had a wonderful time. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice as well. All the staff that we interacted it were absolutely fantastic. We arrived at the hotel just after midnight. The location of the hotel is perfect for spending a dew days in Lisbon. We walked almost everywhere. I would definitely recommend the AVANI Liberdade.

Excellent gym; terrific tour of it and the city view from the roof top location by Miguel, the staff attendant. Varanda restaurant had an outstanding breakfast buffet all three days. Excellent service as well. Room and bathroom very well appointed and serviced each day. Lovely views over the park from the hilltop location. Nice balcony. The concierge could have been much better. I wonder if the Lisboa a Noite restaurant has some sort of kickback scheme going with the major hotels. It was not remotely one of the best locations in Lisbon; 20 minute taxi ride away; grossly expensive - outrageous by Portuguese standards. Another recommendation for a casual dinner at By the Wine was ok, but, again, Lisbon has far better places to offer. The booking at Seen was brilliant, so we’ll give the concierge 1 out of 3. At more than Euro1200/night, this is a very expensive hotel. It’s the height of summer and Lisbon is trending, so I get it. Nonetheless, it’s expensive for what it is.

Great room; we stayed on 18th floor that had a winding staircase with an outside patio. The patio was very large and had a fantastic view; it was wonderful. The beds were comfy and we were able to get an extra single bed brought in as there were 4 of us. The bathrooms were great with the rainshower head and sprayer, large soft bath towels and robes. The only thing that was disappointing is that the window on the main floor only went 1/2 way up the wall and there was no window on the 2nd floor bedroom; however you had the door that opened up to the patio on the 2nd floor. It was a fantastic room. The staff was great and quick to respond to any requests we had. Great place to stay. It is close to a park; restaurants, but seems to be more in the business district; however we walked all other to stores etc. Lisbon is very up/down so you are always walking up or down and on uneven ground/bricks. Fantastic place; just wear comfy/walking shoes and be ready to have some steep uphills and downhills.

We highly recommend Sheraton Lisboa! Everything about our stay was 5 Stars!! The front desk staff was very pleasant when we arrived. We were upgraded to an Executive Suite with our Suite Nights and it was fantastic. Our room was clean, well decorated and extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet and worked perfectly. The bathroom was huge and everything looked brand new. The bed was the best and we slept well. The lobby lounge was staffed very well and the happy hour food and drinks were really good. The lady singing during cocktail hour was really good. The morning breakfast buffet was huge and tended to very well. Overall every staff person was very friendly and professional. Kudos to the management of this hotel for providing us exceptional accomodations in beautiful Lisbon.

Close from the metro station so it is easy to get around. Clean, tidy & reasonably quiet. The outdoor pool is really nice to have, but it was too shallow (1.2m) and there were no bathrobes even when we asked at the counter. All in all, good experience.

Alles etwas nostalgisch aber extrem viel Charme. Diese Pension liegt mitten in der Altstadt, unser Zimmer hatte Blick zum Park. Der Empfang in der 1.Etage....zu erreichen über einen abenteuerlichen, Filmreifen Fahrstuhl, war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Unser Zimmer war groß hell und mit fast allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Das Badezimmer ist klein und spartanisch....wahrscheinlich nachträglich eingebaut. Frühstück war klassisch und gut ohne viel Schnick Schnack aber immer frisch. Ich hatte mir zwischendurch den Ischiasnerv verletzt, sodass ein Besuch im Krankenhaus nötig war. Auch in dieser Situation wurde mir schnell und unkompliziert geholfen sodass ich meinen Urlaub fortsetzen konnte. Hier noch einmal ein großes Dankeschön an die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption für Ihre Hilfe. Uns hat es hier sehr gefallen und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

The breakfast was rich and delicious with plenty of choices to fit all tastes. The location is really good, close to restaurants and bars and a 8 minutewalk to train station. Overall, it made our stay a great experience.

Our stay did not start out well as the confirm I received 3 days prior stated a 2pm checkin and when we arrived at 2pm thoroughly exhausted from traveling we were told checkin had changed to 4pm. The breakfast was wonderful...cooked to order. We were in room 201 on the street and the traffic noise all night was horrendous. Even closing all the windows made no difference. That small side street the hotel is located on seems to be a cut through for cars to take all day and night. It is also a steep uphill so all of the cars are revving their engines to get up the steep grade. This went on for five nights. We spoke to a gentleman at the front desk in the morning and he said he didn't even hear the traffic because he was born and raised in the city. When asked how we enjoyed our stay when we checked out we said everything was fine except for the traffic noise all night. Nobody seemed to be concerned about it at all. We just try to make the best of it and sleep with earplugs.

Beautiful view from the 5th floor. Strong wifi and AC. Tiago at reception is very professional and pleasant. See him for any city recommendations or advice. A nice ambassador for the hotel. Very basic and VERY small rooms. The beds are horrendously uncomfortable and our backs are still in agony more than a week later. We asked to change rooms while we were there but were told that “all beds are the same”. Pillows are also super cheap and paper thin. No tea kettles or coffee machines in the room, no cups (not even paper or plastic cups to have a drink of tap water), no bars of soap to wash your hands (need to use the shower gel), no iron, no face clothes, no Kleenex, no fan in bathroom…Not even a Do Not Disturb sign to place on your door to decline housekeeping. In fairness, none of these items were specifically mentioned to be included at the time of booking, but you would think for the price, and in the year 2022, that they would be a standard in any property that proclaims to be a “hotel”. This place is more like a highway truckers inn or hostel, although even many of those places are better stocked. Unfortunately, as friendly as Tiago is, I cannot recommend this property. Spend a little bit more money on a real hotel and you will save in the long run from having to buy all the bare necessities yourself at the local mini-mart, and from having to see a chiropractor when you get home.

I stayed four days in the WOT hostel in Lisbon, what means three nights. The hostel in in a great neighborhood, fun places around all the time, service is fun, they are 7/24 there to help you with all kind of informations about the city. Every night they had an activity (drink nights and even a movie night) for the early hours, there is this cool guy organizing party-visiting together for very reasonable prices, the beer is cheep, the common area is just perfect for chilling and to make new friendships very easily. If i plan my trip again to Lisbon (and i will, because that's one of the must fun cities I've ever been in my life), i'm sure i will book in WOT again. (I got they recyclable cup for memory.:))
