It was a very nice hotel but the food was really quite very poor and of a disappointing quality and the atmosphere is very subdued and depressing

This hotel is located on the outskirts of the centre of Lisbon and only a 5-10 minute walk from the hop on hop off bus stop. It only took about 30 minutes to get there from the airport. The reception staff are very polite and check in was very simple. The room was roomy but lacked power sockets to plug in devices or the kettle that was provided in the room. No USB outlets but it is an older style hotel. The room was very clean and products provided in the bathroom. There was a safe and small refridgerator also. The was plenty of space to hang clothing. We found the beds uncomfortable but lovely and clean. The breakfast is on the ground floor and adequate. The staff at breakfast were very accommodating. There are restaurants within walking distance in the area and although near main roads it is not a noisy location. It was convenient for our 3 night stay.

The hotel is located 5 mins walk from the Edward VII park and park subway station, in a quiet road (except for the building works going on next door!). Best described as oldish but charming. Everything was clean, our room (702) was large, had a bath with shower and a balcony, that could easily house the two chairs from the room. Ideal for siting in the afternoon and evening sun. The view overlooks the road, across roof tops and you can watch the plans approach the airport. The only complaint about the room was one of the bedside lamps didn't work and wasn't fixed during our stay. The staff were fantastic but you can only get breakfast here, which is very good, or room service. There is a bar but it didn't open on Sunday and Monday night. Overall very good at the price

The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly. However, only one lift is working; I found a few ants in the bathroom; the air con is controlled by reception, and you have to ask reception for the lock to the safe.

We stayed in room 507. The first morning I noticed a moving bug on the floor. I stomped on it. I then checked the bed and found a dead bug. I thought it could have been a fluke. I’ve never experienced or seen bed bugs before. I had new sheets put on the bed. The following morning I woke up to 2 bugs in the bed. I did not stay the 3rd night and cut the trip short."

The hotel bills itself as a 4 star but it is anything but. It is quite ancient and tired. The rooms and furniture are dated and worn. Matresses are old. The first room we were assigned to had no electrical outlets except one behind a large piece of furniture where the TV was plugged in. They gave us an extension cord but as we had two phones and two tablets to charge this was only a partial solution. The wifi did not work and a technician had to be sent up. Finally, all the lights could be on or all off. Nothing in between. We asked to be moved to another room which turned out to be marginally better.

The rooms were very spacious. There were many good dining options nearby. They accomodated our request for an early check-in as well.

The hotel was clean enough, but very outdated. The hotel is way overdue for some updating. When we came back to our hotelroom after a trip to the city, we found bugs on the ceiling and behind the bathroomdoor. A 4 star classification is way too high.

Hotel enjoyimg a good location in the heart of the city. Nice staff. The room was spacious but the mattress needs to be replaced. It was too old.

Lovely Hotel. Room/En-suite spotless clean. Really lovely breakfast - hot and cold buffet. Great variety of tea/coffee/pastries/fruit/juice/yoghurt etc. . Reception staff friendly and courteous. Few negatives: Mattresses a bit too soft for us. Staff in breakfast room inclined to stand and stare at guests during breakfast which was slightly uncomfortable. We would recommend this hotel.

Our (my husband and I and our 20 year old daughter). first visit to Portugal. Arrived at end of May. Spent 3 nights in beginning and then 2 nights at the end of our trip. We heard of the exceptional breakfast so we did that for the first leg of our stay. - Rooms are very spacious for a European hotel. 2 full sized beds for 3 of us as requested; the first stay - we also have a room with a balcony. The views are more of the neighborhood; and you could smell whatever goodies being baked in the morning; the second leg of our stay - we got a bigger room also with 2 full sized beds but no balcony. Both suit our needs perfectly. - Amenities and styles may be more traditional but very very clean and comfortable - We had initial problem with the AC; and the concierge helped us right away and got it working. - the staff was the most polite, and hospitable that we have met through all our travels locally in US and abroad . We had to get on a virtual meeting unexpectedly the day we checked out. The staff went out of the way to find us a space so we could have the meeting in a professional and quiet space since we would have checked out by the meeting time already. It's really the best staff - professional, courteous, responsive and problem solver (we're thinking of changing our itinerary; they also assisted us in making the changes at another Turim hotel in Porto) - location - so close to grocery store, restaurants, metro, charming cafes; there was construction next to the hotel. I was wondering when I arrived how it would be; but no noise. It made walking on the sidewalks somewhat difficult but everything was fine - Breakfast - exceeded all our expectations; the only reason we didn't add that at the end of our trip was that we just ate too much already! If/when we return to Lisbon, we would stay in this hotel again. I usually prefer newer hotels but this one charms our hearts. The hospitality, cleanliness and location.

We had a great time in Lisbon but the day we checked out of the hotel within 15 minutes we realized we had left our 2 hoodies in the closet. We were at the train station. We called them immediately and they could not find our sweaters. Then we called them back when we got to Porto, they had found them, how were we going to get them? They don’t send anything from their hotel… then we were told we had to arrange a package for them to go in and arrange for them to be shipped to our new hotel. Finally after 3 days the Tourim hotel said they would send our coats to us at the next place we stopped at in 2 days. Today we are at the hotel we told them we were going to be at and no hoodies… I am totally disgusted with their customer service as I have travelled all over the world and have never had such a run around as we are getting from this hotel!

The location of the hotel was perfect for our Lisbon vacation. The thing that made it special was the unbelievable attention the front line staff paid to meeting our needs. Great team. Would return in a heartbeat.
