The Hotel was good, conveniently situated next to a tram stop. It’s pretty and the way they kept old ruins incorporated with modern finishes was very well done.
It has one of the most beautiful pools I’ve seen in a hotel, but it was a bit smelly at times if I’m completely honest. I was there for 2 nights and didn’t make me feel like going back even when we spent most of the time in the hotel because of the rain. Good spa area.
Very good breakfast in terms of food but they can improve on the coffee, very limited choices and not tasty at all.
The restaurant was very nice and the food was very nice too although the service was extremely slow.
The staff was friendly but not hugely attentive.
Overall a pleasant stay but not spectacular stay.

因此選擇了它，距離著名景點步行可達，房間也還算可以，就是前台有一個當地白人捲毛服務人員很mean 入住時帶我去看房間，然後自己直接溜了，退房時居然還擔心我不付款旅遊税，很激動的跟我打招呼，天吶，我的車都沒有開走，我可以去哪裡呢？感覺小氣得很，不像是五星酒店服務人員該有的樣子。笑死😆
還有大家至少在這酒店，不用跟他們太客氣，你越是唯唯諾諾講禮貌，他們越是拿捏你。

O atendimento foi excelente, precisei chegar após o horário de checkin e recebi todo suporte que precisava para acessar o quarto.
A comodidade da suite é muito boa.
Sobre pontos negativos eu gostaria de evidenciar duas coisas: a primeira é que o quarto fica encima de um restaurante e o quarto ficava com um pouco de cheiro de comida. O segundo é que a cama não possuía lençóis sobressalentes, apenas uma capa para o edredão que tinha sinais de sujeira.

KkthérèseThe river view room and toilet were small for one person so I’d image a couple would be uncomfortable here. The location is right in the heart of Alfama and a 10-15 minute walk to Chiado/Barrio Alto. I was excited to come and stay at this hotel after reading the reviews about how friendly the staff are, but I did not receive any welcoming or friendly service from any of the staff here. In fact, I felt unwelcome and almost as if I was bothering them when I spoke to them at the reception or asked first a simple request like water for my room. I previously stayed at Montebelo Vista Allegre hotel in Chiado and I would recommend this hotel instead. I wish I stayed there for the entirety of my trip.

VVincenzaLa camera è ampia con un 2 letti vicini grandi e comodi, il bagno con doccia è spazioso con asciugamani in dotazione morbidi e grandi.
La pulizia generale è molto buona, ci hanno cambiato gli asciugamani ogni giorno pur non avendolo richiesto (scelta che ritengo però poco ecologica)
Nelle vicinanze ci sono alcune caffetterie (non abbiamo incluso la colazione) e ristoranti, la fermata dell'autobus per il centro è a pochissimi passi.
Il centro è comunque raggiungibile anche a piedi con una passeggiata di circa 15 minuti.
L'Hotel dispone di un parcheggio coperto al costo di €19,00 al giorno, assolutamente essenziale se si arriva in auto visto che non ci sono altri parcheggi nelle vicinanze.

Despite reporting constant shouting, stomping, and items being thrown on the floor, the hotel staff unfortunately did not take effective action to address the situation. PPengguna Tanpa NamaBe careful with this hotel, in which service and facilities are wildly variable.
For our last night, one bath towel is missing for a room of double occupancy - a schoolboy error as they would call it - and when we requested the second one, the receptionist acted as if he were doing us a big favour. Then, on our last day, neither of our two room cards worked when we returned to the room 30 min before check out time - and because of receptionist shortage, it took us a good 15 min to get a replacement card - not a good thing for a hotel that brands itself for being chic and high tech.
The room controller, which is run by the TV system, as well as the lighting panel, are as dysfunctional as they get - one would have thought it should be a very simple thing to raise or lower the temperature through a quick flip of a switch, or a simple touch on dial. Instead, it is waiting for the TV to warm up, entering the room control panel, blah blah blah.
Note also a double bed at this hotel means two single beds slapped together. Not great if you have no wish to sleep atop a trench.
Our last night happens to be on a Friday, and the lobby practically turned into a dance floor with loud and cheap beats that went all the way to almost midnight and heard even on the highest floors.
No problem for being chic, but being chic is very different from being dysfunctional and uncomfy. A shame, as the location is excellent, some of the staff were nice and helpful, and some of the decor are clever.

TTatiThe stay at the apartment was comfortable and enjoyable. Firstly, the apartment has everything a person needs when traveling - an equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, dishwashing liquid), hot water from a boiler, Wi-Fi, iron, dryer, comfortable bed, armchair, dining table, bedside tables, wardrobe.
The apartment was clean and housekeeping was good throughout the stay.
The only thing missing was a washing machine, but there are self-service laundries within walking distance.
Of course you will hear the sounds of airplanes, but this is Lisbon! The airport is located in the middle of the city, planes can be heard almost everywhere! You quickly get used to them and for us this was not a problem at all.
We didn’t hear our neighbors, but the walls felt quite thin, so if you’re unlucky with people nearby, it could be uncomfortable (just like in life)
It takes 13-15 minutes to walk to the metro, there are bus stops nearby.
An important point is that registration is contactless; you need to receive a code from the front door, or make a call in order for the front door to be opened for you. The code for the front door is sent in advance, but when booking on trip.com they will not send it to you (!). Therefore, especially if you arrive at a non-standard time, take care of the code in advance - write to the apartment, or ensure that you can call a Portuguese number.
After entering the hall, you need to go to the registration machine and register + pay the tourist tax (by card). Also make sure in advance that you have the option of paying by card.
The apartments are very nice, clean, comfortable and we would happily stay there again.

PPengguna TetamuThe location was good and the people at the reception were lovely. But, I would say those are really the only positives. First of all, I wouldn’t recommend booking though this site, as it claims to offer the option to pay on checkin, but charges you before. This happens because this website is a 3rd party, they book a room for you through Expedia. They will claim it’s just on hold - spoiler alert, it’s not. But I digress. Back to the hotel, the walls are paper thin, I had the pleasure to be awakened by my neighbours doing the devil’s tango as if they were in my room. The toilet also made weird noises non stop, like water filling in, it was quite annoying too. The cleaning ladies were lovely and really thorough with the cleaning and making sure everything is as clean as can be, however the infrastructure is so old that no matter how much cleaning is done, some things need to be changed (sink full of scratches, toilet full of scratches and with old rust stains in bottom, towels smelling funky sometimes, shower without a detachable handle, no place to put your shower gel, even though there were holes where some sort of holder should be). Long story short, the hotel really needs some renovation because it is called “suites” but feels a lot like my college dorm. Another rather shocking thing for me was that the shower gel/shampoo bottles were refilled, not swapped, which for me feels super unhygienic, specially since they were very tiny bottles (10-15ml). Also, not all outlets were functional, which is rather annoying in 2023. And last, but not least, 25€ per person for an airport transfer? Am I taking a limo? An Uber is 15€ tops in total. In summary, lovely service but the rooms need some TLC. I would book again if the price was as good as this time since the location is really great, but I wouldn’t splurge on it.
