Fantastic apartments in a great area of the city, the apartment that we had featured all the facilities you need for a great stay. Friendly staff upon arrival added to our experience. I'd definitely return to the apartments again when I'm looking for serviced accommodation in the city.

If you want to conquer Downtown Liverpool by foot this Hotel is your perfect base camp. Located on Mount Pleasant the is a sight to reach whithin walking distance in all directions. The rooms are kept simple, but have everything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful, and although most of the guests are young travellers it is a quiet place, so you can have a good nights rest after your days on the streets of Liverpool. You should definitely start your day with a breakfast in the very uniquely furnished Restaurant/Bar. You'll be greeted by the most lovely Denise, who will fulfill your every wish. And while enjoying your coffee and planning your day you should ask her about the poins of interest wihtin the city. She may also provide some interesting facts about the histoy of the building you are staying at... you'll be surprised.

If you are looking for a bare bones hotel in a great location close to Anfield, this will be just fine. 3 minute walk to stadium and great atmosphere on game day with large crowd. However, hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired, at least to American standards. Room was very cold- no thermostats or heater. We were freezing! Bed not comfortable. Very few products provided, including hand soap that was empty. No blow dryer provided in room. Hotel advertised luggage storage, but refused to store bags for a couple hours on our departure day so we had to spend £20 to store bags with a guy across the street (who was great). The shower was hard to get into (strange large step down into it), but the water pressure was great and water hot. Overall, there are much better places to stay in Liverpool. If you aren’t picky, might be fine for a night or two to attend a game, but we regret booking here. It’s only a 10 minute Uber ride from the dock/city center area, and we wish we would have stayed in that area.

A fantastic place to stay! Warm, modern and welcoming. All The staff are lovely and friendly. Our private en suite room and bathroom was spacious, clean and tidy, the reception area modern and welcoming too. Car parking available if you need it. The staff even made us a pizza at 11pm as we arrived back tired, wet and cold from being at the match. The best bit was the breakfast, it was amazing and in a separate dinjng area. Full choice of traditional hot English breakfast or continental. Fresh coffee and tea and juices too.

Benar-benar menyukai hotel ini, bilik itu indah. Kakitangan benar-benar menjaga kami. Satu-satunya perkara yang saya akan katakan ialah katil kami sangat tidak selesa dan saya tidak mendapat banyak tidur. Tetapi segala-galanya adalah hebat!

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves! Paul, on arrival was very welcoming and friendly! Our room was beautiful and really modern, beds were really comfy and had a homely feel to it. Uber taxis were easy to get to and from the centre, which was about 10/15 minutes drive. If I was coming back to Liverpool I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again! Thanks very much Paul and we hope to get visiting Sydney soon! Jordan and Jeannie x

We booked eight rooms at the Mountford, only to find that the rooms were quite old, musky and very small. There was hardly any room to manoeuvre as the double bed took most of the room. The superior double room rooms were better as they were much more spacious. Most of the staff were friendly. There were a few staff in particular the two male members of staff who were on duty whilst we were there on August 16 and 17th who came across, quite rude. The taller guy in particular was extremely grumpy. I had left a bag downstairs in the breakfast area and he followed me down the stairs, mumbling something as if I was going to rob something from the canteen. He then accused of not returning a room key and gave us very little time to check with other family members. We had booked this hotel previously for our mothers ashes and this time for our sisters ashes. We were promised a 5% discount to which we weren’t given. Under the sad circumstances we did not feel supported. Breakfast was minimum there was cereal, boiled egg only and a few cold meats and cheeses. No fry up. Not sure we would book here again. Sorry if the feedback is negative but this is how we felt. What are the very most positive things where are they guest who stayed there were very friendly and the bar area was a good social meeting area.
