Fantastic location. Faye upgraded our room my son was over the moon with the facilities. Faye was manager but also front of house. Faye ordered our taxi straight to Anfield, Faye also gave us the local taxi number. The room we had the skyliner had a massive bath that needed filling but only by members of staff. I rang at 00:00 and they filled it for our arrival back at the hotel. Plenty of towels. Would definitely recommend to families, singles and couples.

The studios, are ideal for a visit to Liverpool, approx 10 minutes walk from Lime St Station, check in was very good we arrived about 1.30pm for a 3pm check in and we were able to check in early, but even if we couldn’t at least we could drop the bags off, the studio is compact with everything you need for your stay, even a ironing board and iron were provided plus a hairdryer, and an excellent fan, as it was warm in the room when we arrived, everything was provided for you to cook meals if you wanted to in the kitchen area, pots pans, crockery and cutlery, the fridge was a bonus, appreciated the free waters and Pepsi Max in the fridge, also a kettle and coffee, tea, hot chocolate sachets, really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return in the future.

This is an old grand hotel. Great location an easy walk to many popular destinations. The room is huge with high ceilings and the bed was comfortable. Please know that this hotel is huge and you literally have to walk around the halls to find an elevator. The furniture in the rooms needs some updating and the flooring in front of the elevators on each floor desperately needs renovation but this property overall is a good value.

Avoid avoid avoid If you want a good night's sleep this is not the hotel for you especially if its a weekend stay. It's very loud from the music opposite til 4am although reception tell you it's only noisy til midnight.....here for the races so hotel busy and room wasn't cleaned. There's definitely better hotels to stay in especially for the price

An excellent location for a hotel . Right next to Liverpool Lime Street train station 👍 A few hundred yards from the Empire theatre 👍 Next door to the Empire theatre is the North Western Wetherspoons 👍 We had a great weekend stay at the Liner hotel, we enjoyed a show at the Empires theatre. Staff at the Liner were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

We previously stayed here a few times before Covid and were so happy to return. We really like this hotel and the lovely friendly staff who always make the stay special. Our king room was spotless, spacious and comfortable and nice and warm. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and we also ate at the hotel in the evening. A good menu, reasonably priced and the meals went down very well. We love the bar, dining room on the second floor where we could sit and watch the world go by! We look forward to returning.

Really lovely surrounding of the old boating houses and Boat Museum Easy to get to and a 5 min drive to Cheshire Oaks and only 30mins to Liverpool Centre The hotel is clean and up to date with a proper leisure facility too. Breakfast was all you could want and quality was excellent too A great hotel for a bargain price through Trip.com

Stayed in the travelodge with my husband. The receptionist Jan was lovely and friendly. A good knowledge of the area. Told us place's to visit. When going to Liverpool. Rooms where spotless bed very comfy. Only downfall was no air con .but there was a fan I the room .

GGiani DeClean hotel and accessible to centre. If you’re going to book for Rooftop make sure it’s suite room as the double room wasn’t that nice view in the balcony. Friendly staff in the breakfast area and to the receptionist who assist us 10th July 2024 (Wednesday) at 15:00 he’s approachable and accommodating I forgot his name he has tattoo. But a bit disappointed. Only continental breakfast you can have it if you’re in a hurry. But for hot breakfast you need to order in the menu and that’s the time they prepare it and serve for you I suggest it’s better everything is ready and hotel guest will just get it by themselves. Second one the receptionist who’s on shift at 11th July 2024 at 12:30 in the afternoon wasn’t that nice. it’s 2 ladies receptionist I pass the key on her and she just said thank you. The other lady just look at us without saying Hello. Front-desk receptionist should be accommodating. not even bother to ask us how’s our stay which should be standard to all Hotel service staff. Receptionist are the front one who promote your Business it’s just my opinion Halyard so I think it’s better to inform them.

PPengguna TetamuBooked this one as I have stayed in it about 7 yrs ago. Main reason being proximity to the ACC. Things were different this time hence a Bit disappointed. Accessing the lounge can be a challenge for people with mobility problems. Average quality breakfast. Quite disappointing to know that the WiFi access was not available in the rooms and so have move to the reception area each time (I am a overseas business traveler and don’t have unlimited internet access on my mobile devices). Otherwise staff were helpful. Probably would go for a different accommodation next time

PPengguna TetamuHighly disappointed as I booked two nights for my mom and her husband who were visiting the UK for the very first time. My mom is the biggest Beatles fan and I was so excited to book this hotel for her. When I booked, I asked for the hotel to make sure to give her a good view on a high floor not knowing there are only 5 floors. I’ve attached a pic of the literally trashy view she had. Now, if this view is the only option on the 5th floor, then an email should have been sent for better views on lower floors. because I did ask for a high floor not knowing what the hotel is like. No wonder the pictures of the hotel and the rooms when booking are not clear. This hotel is beautiful from the outside but unfortunately the inside is just a regular old hotel with pics of the Beatles scattered around. If this isn’t bad enough, one of the days they left the hotel without taking a shower because there was no hot water and no warning of it. My mom was polite and kind and told me she had a good time, but that’s only because the hotel is in a good location. Parking was a headache as there was no clear direction and she was not told about the fee prior to. Overall, a very disappointing experience. There is a lot of room for improvement here.

KKlinGood location, 10minutes walk you can reach both seaside and city centre, its a very good experience, the studio makes me feel like back to student accom, cozy and modern. The best of it is you can try some nice coffee and enjoy a quiet night after a long trip.

PPengguna TetamuWe booked 2 consecutive nights, after the first night we left the hotel at like 2.30pm cause we had work etc, left our stuff in the room. Came back after work and our key cards didn’t work so we went to reception who then said the room was booked in a different name for the 2nd night. After a lot of confusion etc we eventually got back into our room but how a mix up like that could happen I’ve no idea.

KKennedy83Firstly the bad points- *The Carpark was full of old furniture from the hotel and empty beer barrier preventing you getting parked, *The hotel has turned into more of a party venue hotel rather than the beautiful hotel it was when I last came with my daughter 2018. *tap in the kitchen area in our room only let out hot water and unfortunately the room stunk of what I could only describe as a sewerage smell? Whether the drains needed maintenance I’m not sure but I I just sprayed some deodorant around to help make it not smell quite as bad because I was so tired I didnt want to have to swap rooms. *There was also no phone to call reception which I found strange and the remote for the tv was missing the back of it. I put all this bad points down to the fact that when I previously came it was owned by someone who really cared about the maintenance and reputation of the hotel but now I’ve found it’s since been sold it seems the new owner isn’t as bothered and all what the shankley represented before eg, maintenance, luxury, football themed has kind of turned more into a tacky themed hotel and doesn’t feel classy anymore. I’d probably not stay here again as it’s not the same as it was and just the whole feel of hand hotel is different. It’s not the best if you have come with kids as there’s lots of drunken guests in the hotel and it’s noisey but thank goodness it’s a large hotel as you don’t hear the noise from downstairs. We were on level 3. Our room was lovely and big with a large double bed and 2 twins pushed together, a kitchen area with tea bags and coffee (no biscuits but that didn’t bother us as we had snacks with us The upsides were- *Staff were pleasant, *breakfast was amazing with everything you could possibly as for, *hotel was mainly quiet on the 3rd floor, room was on the whole clean and had a hair dryer, iron and ironing board with a safe. * . The bathroom was lovely especially the bath as it was a jacuzzi with a waterfall shower. Everything was clean from what I could see.

PPengguna TetamuCity Studios, Rodney Street, is an excellent location in Liverpool - easily accessible for cultural and city attractions. The system for gaining access to the property worked well, in that the access codes came in good time and were fairly easy to use. The studio was lovely and warm, comfortable and clean, with good kitchen facilities. The only thing wrong was that the shower didn't work, although there was plenty of hot water. As we were only staying one night, we didn't ask for help with this, as we only found out quite late in the evening. If we'd been staying longer, we would have contacted the help number, and I'm sure something would have been done about it. We would use this venue again.
