Ulasan Hotel Bella Playa & Spa

Beautiful clean hotel, four lovely clean pools, sauna, mini golf, tennis and indoor games. Food was buffet style to a very high standard. My room was superior double. Two queen sized beds and bed settee. Large bathrooms with bath and shower over. No tea making facilities but if you forget your kettle you can hire one. Just across the road from main beach and easy twenty minute walk into town. Town itself is lovely and has plenty of bars, restaurants, shops. Some nice walks in your doorstep. The resort mainly caters for older Germans. Very few English when we went. Don’t think the website reflects what a cracker this hotel is.

We were there mid-May, as part of a walking group. Both the hotel and the resort were fairly quiet, which wasn't a bad thing. We were in a 'standard' double room, with a balcony overlooking the pool - the room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished (comfortable beds and lots of coat-hangars!), air-conditioning and a small fridge A nice bathroom with a bath+shower. No tea-making facilities, however, so take your own kettle. The staff were very pleasant and spoke enough English (excellent English at Reception) although German is very much the second language here (third, if you distinguish between Mallorcian and Castillian Spanish ...). The restaurant provided a choice of indoor or outdoor dining, and there was a good choice of nicely prepared food at breakfast and dinner. The outdoor pools were unheated, which was okay in mid-May. The indoor pool in the spa area was heated - nice to relax in but not suitable for serious swimming. Didn't try the table-tennis or mini-golf, although others in our party did, and enjoyed them. The resort very much caters for German tourists, so if you are looking for authentic Majorca (does it exist any more?) or Spain then you may be disappointed. Would I be happy to go back to the Bella Playa? Yes.

I thought I should write a review as there weren't many when I was looking to book. I chose the Bella Playa because it was a reasonable price for our family of 5 on half board basis and it boasted an indoor heated pool, games room, tennis court and mini golf. Room: we have one normal double and one superior plus. The double is a bit run down, in particular the bathroom. It's in a separate building than our superior room. A good view of the pools from the balcony but half the building looks at the run down mini golf. Our superior double plus is very good. Spacious, well equipped and plenty of room for 4. No bath and no shaver socket the only downside. If you wanted to watch the TV you've little choice of channel. Food: good quality food for both breakfast and dinner. Can't think what else you would want for breakfast and the outside eating overlooking the sea is lovely. The dinner is meat, fish, veg and potatoes with lots of salad options and always a pasta option. I would say its very German in style. There's lots of fruit and cheese too and the desserts have always been really good too. Ice cream options normally 4 flavours a night. Pool: can't swim in any of the 3 outdoor pools at this time of the year as they are not heated. They are missing a trick because it would be very easy to heat one and put it under cover. Indoor pool is over 18 only and not advertised as such. My children have gone in as reception said noone really cares but I wouldn't have let them in as smaller kids. If you are looking for a family friendly heated pool, this is not the place for you. Other facilities: no idea how you use the tennis courts but there's always some serious players on the courts and lessons. The mini golf doesn't have clubs or balls so bit useless. The pool table you need 1 euro coins. Table tennis bat's and balls are provided but sometimes balls disappear. I bought my own. I haven't seen any of the advertised yoga, archery etc. And bike hire is off site not on site like implied. Location: I love the location. The beach is 5 mins walk away and absolutely beautiful. If you want the hustle and bustle there's more restaurants and bars 5-15 mins walk away. It was almost 1 hour drive from the airport though. Language: 90% plus around the area are German. The shops speak to you in German. The menus are in Spanish/German/English. Doesn't bother me but if you have no Spanish or German skills then you may struggle. Hotel staff mainly speak German too. Entertainment: there isn't really any and its in German! Maybe more in the summer. It would be a great hotel in the summer with the pools and the pool bar. I don't know how busy it would be but there aren't many sunbeds out now but it's very quiet. I would say it's got a much older demographic - age 50+ and maybe some organised holiday groups by the look of it. Hardly any families and kids. It's a good secure location for the kids though. This is a great hotel with amazing staff always helpful and cheerful. The rooms vary in quality which is a shame as I’ve stayed in most parts of the hotel now. As I’m there for work the bands can be a bit loud but hey, most people are there on holiday so I’m fine with it. Foods great and facilities brilliant

Great location Helpful staff Brilliant breakfasts Lovely pools Came as a large group and found it very good except it kind of advertises that the hotel has tennis courts but these are nothing to do with the hotel and have to be booked and paid for separately. Service in restaurants was a little slow and many waiters don’t speak English but we don’t speak Spanish ! Thoroughly enjoyed

We did not miss anything. Excellent hotel with all, we needed and wanted. Service was outstanding. Tidy and well organised. We shall come back for sure. Food and drinks high quality, fresh, good varity.

Estupenda experiencia a dúo, un año más. Magníficas instalaciones y un trato superamable por parte de todos los empleados. La animación nocturna es estupenda, así como los servicios de spa y masajistas. Una maravilla de hotel!

Wir sind nun schon zum 5. mal für 2 Wochen im Hotel Bella Playa & Opa, was ja eigentlich alles über die Qualität aussagt. Wir buchen eine Uebernachtung mit Frühstück im Doppel-Zimmer Superior (Nr. 425), schön gross mit begehbarer Dusche und grossem Balkon auf zwei Seiten. Service ist top, Frühstück reichhaltig. Das Hotel ist ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss vom Strand entfernt und wenige Schritte von den Restaurants, ca. 20 Minuten vom Hafen.

Perfektes Hotel für einen schönen, erholsamen Urlaub. Das Essen lässt keine Wünsche offen, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Wellness-und Sportbereich ist besser als in den meisten Hotels. Wir haben rein gar nichts vermisst und kommen sehr gerne wieder

Tolle Lage des Hotels. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr unterschiedlich. Ich war im Annexe nahe des Hallenbades untergebracht und war sehr zufrieden. Der Spa-Bereich ist super, das Essen unglaublich vielfältig und von sehr guter Qualität. Auch die Abendunterhaltung hat mir gut gefallen. Getränkepreise (unglaublich leckere Cocktails) waren günstig. Nur zu empfehlen!

Hôtel horrible, nourriture dégoûtante et peu variée, chambre pas nettoyée, piscine sale, personnel peu sympathique. Le ménage n’est pas fait sérieusement, musique des concerts tous les soirs qui empêche de dormir

Hotel molto grande fuori dal centro ma raggiungibile con 10 minuti di cammino. Noi eravamo in una superior con un grande terrazzo al secondo piano, camera ampia con bagno con 2 lavabo, doccia molto ampia e wc separato. Ottima la pulizia in tutto l'hotel. Sono presenti 3 piscine con lettini e ombrelloni e vasche idromassaggio. La spiaggia di cala agulla è poco distante. Colazione e cena per clientela internazionale. Cassaforte e frigobar in camera.

Ein tolles Hotel zwischen den Buchten Cala Rajadas (Agulla und Cala Son Moll). Zur Bucht Aqulla sind es rd. 5 Minuten zu Fuß und zur Bucht Cala Son Moll eher 20-30 Minuten. Das Hotel befindet sich direkt an der Straße die bis zum Hafen (ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß) und der Promenade führt. Auch die Einkaufsstraße von Carla Rajada befindet sich direkt am Hafen. Vor dem Hotel gibt es in Richtung Innenstadt tolle Restaurants sowie Bars (eine echte und tolle Empfehlung: Friends Bar Drinks & Food / 10 Minuten zu Fuß) als auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf (im Vergleich zum Supermarkt schon erhöhte Preise). Es gibt auch einen tollen Supermarkt in der Nähe (Eroski Center / ca. 6-7 Minuten zu Fuß). Es gibt in der Nähe auch einen Verleih für Fahrräder & Roller (Rent a Scooter & Bike - nur zu empfehlen) sowie eine gute Autovermietung (LifeCar - nur zu empfehlen). Nun zum Hotel: Das Hotel ist schon mehr als vierzig Jahre alt aber wurde immer erweitert und erneuert - ein echter Familienbetrieb. Wir würden immer wieder ein Zimmer im neusten Anbau, direkt an der Poolbar, buchen. Das Zimmer war großzügig mit einer begehbaren Dusche, einem großen Balkon mit zwei Stühlen, Tisch und einer Liege. Das Zimmer hat einen Save. Des Weiteren gibt es Badetücher und einen Bademantel gratis. Der Sparbereich (eher klein) und Sportbereich sieht gut aus aber wurde nicht von uns getestet. Es gibt drei Pools (Sportbecken, Entspannungspool sowie einen weiteren Pool am Altbau). Die Poolbar zwischen dem Sportbecken und dem Entspannungspool ist echt super (Essen und Getränke sind gut und haben faire Preise). Leider ist die abendlich geöffnete Bar eher alt und langweilig. Es gibt kein wirkliches Unterhaltungsprogramm oder Animation - was für uns vollkommen in Ordnung war. Hier wäre es toll wenn die Poolbar abends auf hätte. Es gibt für alle eine kostenfreie Minigolfanlage, Tischtennisplatten und einen kostengünstigen Billardtisch (1€ pro Spiel). Es kann auch gegen Aufpreis die Tennisanlage in der Nachbarschaft genutzt werden (gehört nicht zum Hotel aber ist mit dem Hotel verbunden). Leider gibt es kein wirkliches Kinder bzw. Babybecken (die normalen Becken sind zwischen 1,30-2,10 Meter tief). Das Essen im großen Restaurant (Frühstück und Abendessen) ist gut aber nichts besonderes. Leider eher durchschnittlich bis gut. Hier ist definitiv das größte Verbesserungspotenzial. Das Hotel macht einen guten, sauberen und freundlichen Eindruck. Es ist sehr weitläufig so das man auch wirklich seine Ruhe haben kann. Am Hotel werden keine Liegen mit Handtücher reserviert - zum Glück. Es stehen gute und in ausreichender Zahlen Liegen und Sonnenschutz zur Verfügung. Das Personal ist super super freundlich und aufmerksam. Fazit: Ein gutes Hotel mit einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverzeichnis. Ein Stern wurde wegen dem Essen abgezogen. Viel Spaß im nächsten Urlaub oder Aufenthalt. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.

3 Pools, tolles Spa, 2 Grösse Poolbars. Aufmerksames freundliches Personal mit zivilen Preisen. Superior + wird es beim nächsten Mal. Gute Klimaanlage. Abends gab es ab und an Folkloretänze und einen tollen Alleinunterhalter. Sehr empfehlenswert.gerne wieder.
