Good value for its price. No breakfast included. The stairs are very narrow. Staff quite responsive.

Was robbed from our hotel room twice once on Sunday when we were out for lunch. Reception refused to deal with it or even look into it, then on the following Wednesday we caught the cleaner going through our stuff and putting things into her handbag such as a Chanel scarf my partners wallet filled with cards and cash. Reception lady shouted at me saying “what do you want me to do about it” not our problem. Only because she took that doesn’t mean she took the other belongings that went missing from our room. I filled a report with the police because the receptionist was aggressive we checked out a day early. Stay away. Worst hotel ive ever stayed in unsafe and run by thieves. Will watch you until you leave your room then go in and take things. Watch out I spent £500 on a few nights and lost about £650 worth of belongings it’s worth just going somewhere nicer.

I like to now and again spend a couple of days in London with my girlfriend, go out at night, visit museums etc during the day and all I really need is a bed, shower and a place to store bags etc. After searching for hotels for the date I had available, I came across a room at this hotel with twin beds as most hotels with a decent price were all booked up. Upon entering the room (after climbing 3 flights of stairs) you enter a very basic room (which I don't mind) with a tv, two beds and side tables. One thing that did bother me was there was nowhere to rest your phone or device while charging, only on the bed because the only plugs were beside the door and high up. The bathroom was a 1970s (or even earlier) premolded room made from fiberglass (not a problem for me). BUT!! there is nothing better than a nice hot shower to start your day (specially when there is storm Darragh blowing outside) and you find there is NO HOT WATER.... I asked at the desk and I was told the boiler was being fixed and all I got was "sorry about that... Have a good day" at checkout. And I did forget to mention that we did find long blond hairs in the "clean" folded towels. I would have paid £50 MAX for this room as it is close to Paddington.

The hotel location is convenient as there’s bus stop and restaurant around there. Paddington station just fews minutes of walk. Easy access to scenic place too!

Simple hotel run by a small and friendly group of staff. Short walk from Paddington Station along with plenty of bars and restaurants. Breakfast included, offering a simple selection of cereals and biscuits (as well as tea, coffee, and juice) with bacon, eggs, and toast available on request.
The room was small, with a twin bed, a simple shelf unit, coffee table with kettle and selection of tea/coffee, and a TV mounted to the wall. One light wasn't working and the shower had a tendency to flood quickly, but otherwise was a cosy place for just one night's stay.

decent location, not a far walk to food or underground stations although our room had a view of a brick wall and the bedding felt a little dirty. the room was a lot smaller than we expected.
The staff were really friendly and if you stay here make sure to get breakfast!

The pictures on the website do not look like the real thing. The rooms are incredibly small and poorly maintained. The bathroom was dirty, there were still hairs and beard hairs from previous guests. The toilet kept running (which made us sleep badly). This was supposed to be fixed while we were away, but this never happened. When we returned, it was still there. The button for flushing the toilet was held together with duck tape. All the furniture was discoloured. It was non-smoking, but in the room next to us there was a lot of smoking and nothing was said about it. However, the smells were covered up by the staff with toilet spray, which resulted in a sore throat. When we left, we were not asked how our stay was, we had to hand in the keys and that was it. We mentioned our complaints again, but the person behind the management did not know what to do with them. He would have the manager send an email. Plus point: the bed was clean and the mattress was not bad.

I had contacted them in advance to say that I would not be able to make it in time for check-in due to a train delay, but there was no reply, and when I arrived the entrance was closed.
There was a sign posted at the entrance to call in case of an emergency such as checking in outside of opening hours, but no one answered the phone, so I was unable to stay.
I was quickly helped by someone at another nearby hotel.
