Ulasan Dolphin Inn - the Lodge

I stayed at this hotel during my visit to London. The room was quite ordinary, but the proximity to the train station was a major plus. After a tiring journey to the city, it was nice to have a place nearby to rest. The room was relatively quiet, which was appreciated. However, considering the room rate, I found it a bit expensive for what it offered.

The hotel (lodge) met our needs. Some minor maintenance issues needed attending to. No plug in bathroom, no top on soap dispenser. Only one teaspoon and a single milk supplied. No bathmat or hand towels, although reception provided these when requested. Breakfast OK once a school group departed. Perhaps a separate 30 minute block set aside for groups? Food was basic but sufficient. Overall, the stay represented reasonable value for money.

Just around paddington station, the room is a bit small but clean and tidy enough.

No amenities available in the room.. No guidance, just gives you the keys and you to find out room yourself. But since we didn't know, they allowed us to do late breakfast..

They arranged a room in Shakespeare hotel so I was not really staying in Dolphin Inn but I am happier about this as Shakespeare looks more like a proper hotel. I think they upgraded me to a double room?! The room was nice with a really good bathroom just the bed was too small felt like I cannot move on it otherwise I would fall down from the bed.
