I’ve stayed here many times and it’s a great hotel - clean and contemporary and so convenient for travel - right next to Hackney station and on lots of bus routes. I was going to a gig a few minutes walk away so it was perfect. Only negative was it was very hot this stay and the air con wasn’t working. Staff are always great, though.

Very near the train station, so you might be bothered by the noise (also people talking on the streets) but it’s very convenient.Bed is comfy. There are free tea from lobby reception. Towels are clean. Toilet is clean too. No red flags. Just that the chair (for the desk) isn’t very comfortable to sit on, thus hard to get work done in the room, hope they change to a softer chair. Also, AC had problems when I was there so I was freezing every night (problem not solved).

I have been misleaded with the information about the room description and I was in a situation where either I have to cancel my booking and loose all the money and also try to book an another hotel in the very last minute. I had to contact both side parties to sort out and that totally ruined my evening as it was time consuming. I was supposed to get a double bed instead I got a single bed which is not worth the money I paid for.

I think I chose the wrong room type for a single person. It was like a karaoke box, with no windows, no ventilation fan, and no air conditioning. If you closed the door, you'd feel suffocated in about 30 minutes. The shared bathroom facilities were clean though.

The location is excellent, with an Overground station right downstairs, making it very convenient for getting around London. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also offer free coffee if you follow their Instagram, as well as free luggage storage, which was very useful. However, the air conditioning in my room was not working properly, and since the room had no windows, it became quite stuffy and uncomfortable. The room itself was quite small, although this is understandable considering the price and location in London. The main downside was the poor soundproofing — the walls were very thin, and I could clearly hear people walking and talking in the corridor, as well as noise from the neighbouring rooms. Overall, it’s a convenient and reasonably priced option if location is your priority, but the ventilation and soundproofing could definitely be improved.

The room size is great, cleanliness fine and location good but the service was awful. In this winter, the heater in the room was not working, I have tried to set it up but impossible. We reported to the girl at the reception and she told us her colleague who knew how to do it will come at 11pm and we were around 8pm, which never happened.. we stayed in the cold all the day spent in that room without any staff coming to see the heater even though we went there twice for it. It was an horrible stay due to the heater no staff seemed to be bothered.. we were even not the only one complaining about that as we found another person complaining at the reception as well.

Ive stayed here before. Its a good average hotel. The room was clean, I just wish they would get proper doors for the toilet,the sliding door is annoying. Other than that I had a good stay

Carers very well to travellers who 'just want a bed'. Shared bathrooms are modern and clean, and serve about 3 rooms each. I never had to wait. Try to avoid the windowless rooms. The design is thoughtful (it appears to be an offshoot of Travelodge) Hotel culture is low key, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Kettle or coffee on request. Fast free wifi. Good value.

I had the small room with en suite. The room is perfect for solo travellers or even couples or friends. The bathroom could be more cleaner. There was scaling and mould on the surrounding of the shower and the cabinet in the bathroom. The location is great. There’s bus stop right outside and Hackney Central overground 2 minutes away. There’s also cafes nearby and shops for any last minute shopping needed. The check in process was quick. There’s only one lift so can be slow sometimes.

Check in was quick and easy, the staff where super friendly. The room was very big for a London hotel, especially for the price. Only downside was checkout was at 11 AM, which is quite early for someone who had just gone for a night out in London. Apart from that, great deal for the price!

Terrifically located in a lively, central London location, yet with a very peaceful atmosphere inside the property. Comfy double bed. Many thanks.

The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Hackney Central Overground station, making it very easy to get to attractions. The windowless single room is a bit small, but the price is excellent, making it perfect for solo travelers.
