Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, Anguilla

There are some places that you visit, where you leave a piece of your heart behind. Not only is it breathtakingly beautiful, it is the kindness of the people that work there that make it stand out amongst all of the other hotels. Marisse Glasgow is an absolute gem. My husband and I had spent our honeymoon at Cap Juluca and returned to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Marisse went out of her way to make our visit a truly memorable one, just as memorable as it had been 25 years ago. Her kindness and hospitality is something that I will never forget and will forever be grateful for. She made our visit magical and brought me to tears of joy with her kindness. We cannot thank her enough for being so welcoming and kind. From our initial email communication to our visit, she was absolutely wonderful!! I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so kindly by anyone in the service industry. You can tell that she loves what she does and that she genuinely cares about making your trip to Cap Juluca unforgettable!! What an asset to the Belmond Company! Of course, it is even more beautiful than it was, but even with the updates, it has retained the beauty and character that it had 25 years ago. We really enjoyed the new pool. The view from it is incredible. You cannot get a better beach experience than that of Maundays Bay and it’s beautiful, private crescent moon shaped beach. We also had dinner at Pimms which was spectacular with Michelin star chef, Alberto Landgraf. The venue is stunning and the meal was exquisitely prepared and presented. The service by Margaret, I believe and Christa was impeccable. I am probably not remembering his name correctly, so forgive me, but Denaldo (?) was so kind and went out if his way to be sure we were happy on the beach and by the pool. Also the opportunity to speak to Elvis after 25 years was something we were so grateful for. We can’t wait to return for our next visit! A heartfelt thank you to Marisse and staff for making our 25th anniversary celebration so special! We will never forget your kindness, hard work and generosity!!! Thank you so much❤️❤️❤️.

Place is made for couples or individuals who need to decompress or relax. Traveled the world and this by far the best beachside resort/hotel!! Four Season is great if you’re needing to be entertained. Belmond staff is what sets this property apart from others. The Anguilla people are righteous people. Meaning they truly care when they ask “how are you” and “good morning”

This is the title of the book I was reading while staying in Cap Juluca, and it seemed relevant to post it here. This book was written on a two week beach getaway in 1955. Imagine staying in a resort where all the details are thought, but you feel like you have rented a beach cottage just for yourself. Beautiful blend of simplicity, luxury, comfort and freedom to be with yourself.

Perfection all around! It was truly a place we will never forget and look forward to visiting again soon!

This was our second stay at the Cap Juluca after our honeymoon 5 years ago, and it was equally as magical as the first visit. We are beach lovers, and Cap Juluca is all about tranquility and relaxation on heavenly Maunday's Bay. The rooms are incredible, particularly the soft black tile that makes you never want to put on shoes and the show-stopping solarium bathroom. Our first room 5 years ago was upstairs, but this time we were downstairs. The better view from the balcony is a perk for upstairs, but ultimately we preferred the ease of walking directly to and from the beach of our downstairs room. We ate at all four restaurants on property and loved them all. The gym is great, and the new Guerlain Spa is gorgeous. We loved our treatments and the cold plunge pool. The staff is wonderful and helps make the experience special. We'd like to shoutout our beach attendant Carol who was particularly great. Thanks to everyone at Cap Juluca for making our experience so memorable. We look forward to our future visits.

Desperate need of a remodel. Worn out, damp and musty The staff are truly excellent and caring but they can only do so much.

My husband and I chose Cap Juluca based on a family friend's recommendation. This was my first time visiting the Caribbean, and we had such an amazing experience! From the minute we landed at the airport, we were treated like royalty - everyone went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and had everything we needed. Evan (our villa host) was great as was all of the staff at Cap. The food on property is absolutely phenomenal, no matter which restaurant you go to, it is all so fresh and delicious. It is definitely expensive, but it was worth every penny. We are counting down the days until we can return!

We chose Cap Juluca as our honeymoon destination. What was definitely a tough decision to make between so many beautiful hotels in the area and abroad, we could not be any more certain and happier with our choice. From the amazing service we from all the staff- from being personally greeted and congratulated upon arrival by general manager Sasha, to the undivided attention from our Villa Host Sonni and Maury and the kindness from all the bellmen especially Malua(i believe was his name, he was one of the younger ones- 19 years old?) as well as the great service and kindness from all the waitresses and hosts including Fiona from Cips and Alexander from the Uchu pool and Eli. The personal conversations had during the sabering with the hotel staff as well was spectacular and felt as if we were friends with everyone. We truly felt as if we were personally cared for by all the staff and were lifelong friends. We didn't feel like just any other guest at a resort, we felt like we were welcomed home. We hope to return very very soon!

This place is magical. I've rarely felt true relaxation like I have while here. Not to mention the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you have the opportunity to visit Anguilla, go here!
