Visiting during the off-season definitely paid off, as the owner even upgraded us to a 270-degree panoramic glass view room. We also tried their bamboo tube chicken and wild vegetables. The owner freshly prepared a free-range chicken he raised himself, and served with his homemade chili sauce, it was absolutely incredible! The wild vegetables were super delicious too! Since we had a high-speed train in the afternoon the next day, the owner woke up early to cook us incredibly delicious noodles. The location is also excellent, perfectly situated between Qixing Banyue and Jiulong Wuhu. It was effortless to visit both viewing platforms from there. Highly recommended!

I also invited us to drink tea. When I left the next day, I bought the boss’s house. The air was fresh, quiet and comfortable.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it! The owner was incredibly kind and attentive. Noticing our heavy luggage, he immediately offered to help us carry it, displaying truly warm and thoughtful service. It offers excellent value for money; the rooms are well-equipped and incredibly comfortable.
The location is also incredibly convenient, just a short distance from two scenic viewpoints, saving us a lot of travel time. Traveling with our child, we needed to extend our check-out by two hours, and the owner graciously agreed, showing immense understanding for the challenges of parenting on the go.
He even surprised our child with their favorite passion fruit, which made them incredibly happy. Overall, our experience was flawless!

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).

CCarlyMama and I had such a great experience here on our 3-day (2-night) trip to the 龙脊 rice terraces. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were so friendly from the start and service was AMAZING.
We got quite lucky with our room. We were able to catch the sunrise every morning coming over the “back of the dragon”. Location was great too, being not too far from the 九龙五虎 and 七星半月 observation decks. Aside from the view, the place was clean with the usual amenities. Their home-cooked Guilin specialty meals also made for great dinner. Almost everything was home grown and locally sourced, and oh so tasty!
They were also great with our check-out and send-off, helping us organise a car/driver to our next stop (Yangshou) and a little farewell token that read “ 一生平安” which translates to “a lifetime of peace and safety”. We even picked up some of their monk fruit (羅漢果) and passion fruit (百香果) before we left! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 西窗月!

They proactively helped us with our luggage and even offered convenient pick-up and drop-off services to and from the parking lot. Waking up, we could enjoy the breathtaking 'Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon' scenery directly from our balcony. Dining in the restaurant was also a delightful experience, boasting equally spectacular views. And the breakfast? It was incredibly generous and delicious – truly fantastic!

GGuest UserVery friendly family ran hotel. The greatest advantage is its location, which is only a few mins walk from one of the viewing platforms. The room are well maintained and clean. We booked the sunrise view room and the balcony looked like a painting. Logistically, you need to take the village tourist shuttle to get here from the Ping’an Village parking lot because it’s located within the protected area. You must let the ticket vendor know the name of your hotel so they drop you off at the right one (there are multiple hotels inside the protected area)
This hotel is also about a 30 min walk from another viewing platform, which I would recommend doing if you have the time, as the walk was mostly flat and the scenery along the way was very nice as well.
Breakfast is quite typical of the area and the dinner was also quite nice. Overall would stay here again!

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.

JJulieHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
