Little Mainstone Guest House

Janine, Paul and Bradley are the perfect hosts of this Beautiful B&B. Located right along the river so you can just sit and watch the world go by. The B&B is very clean and homely and they make a lovely breakfast. We’ve been going here every year for the last several years and I would say it’s one of the best in Looe. Would definitely recommend, we’ve already booked again for next year.

What a great place to stay, right on the harbour front with parking for every room. The hosts were so nice and accommodating.Janine, Paul and Bradley, all very warm and welcoming, like old friends after just 3 nights. Location is minutes from immediate facilities and 15 from beach, walking.and loads of restaurants. All spotless and tasty breakfast. We have rebooked. Chris and Marg.

What can I say wow 10/10 couldn’t fault the place Janine was an excellent host. Turned up on the bike in looe for one night she had 1 room left on the front overlooking the harbour what a lovely view. Room was so clean and lots of coffee on the side. Bed was very comfortable slept really well. Shower was hot and powerful. Looked forward to the breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. Thanks so much for the great stay. We will be back again for sure

Absolutely fabulous from the moment we arrived, the owners are so friendly and will do everything they can to make your stay the best. The room was excellent, spotlessly clean with a fantastic view of the harbour, well stocked tea tray, en suite with good quality products and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast is one of the best we have ever had with good quality ingredients and good size portions. Parking is available outside the property. I left something behind when I left which has been posted back to me (thank you Janine). If you are visiting Looe this should be top of your list when choosing your place to stay.

What a great place to stay! It is not a five star international hotel, it is a small, very personalised guest house located right on the riverfront in a very typical Cornish fishing village. The rooms a not large but are very comfortable. Our room overlooked the water so we were able to see the activity around the docks and see the tide rise and fall from the comfort of our rooms. Our hosts Janie and Paul went out of their way to make us welcome and to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Breakfasts were amazing. Big English breakfast was cooked to your liking or a continental breakfast was available. Everything we needed was within close walking distance, shopping, restaurants, beach and riverside walks. The parking out front was a bonus given the narrow streets and general lack of parking nearby. We would recommend this Guesthouse and would stay there again if we were back in the UK.

We only stayed for a few days but wished it was longer. A lovely welcome from Janine and Paul, beautiful room with unrivalled view of the estuary. Wonderful comfy bed and the pillows were superb. We were made so very comfortable. Will definitely go again for longer next time.

Janine , Paul , Bradley & Morgan made both myself & Trevor very welcome on arrival the boys Bradley & Morgan took our suitcase’s to our room which was absolutely stunning , breakfast was beautiful nothing was too much trouble , have booked up for next year Geraldine myatt

Lovely guest house, our room had a gorgeous little bay window, with 2 comfy chairs and a great view. Fridge in the room. Very clean. Breakfasts were excellent. Friendly helpful hosts, who gave excellent recommendations for eating out etc. . We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic guest house in a perfect location, warm friendly welcoming hosts , spotlessly clean room with all the added extras , lovely freshly cooked tasty breakfast , will definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend booking.
