Aiden by Best Western @ Lorient Centre

One of the best hotels we have stayed in with great friendly professional staff nothing was too much trouble for them from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We could not find fault with anything, we were made to feel so welcome as the staff work together so well and make your stay really enjoyable.

We stayed three nights in this hotel. The hotel is decorated by mementoes from the Compagnie des Indes. The room was nice but did not have a lot od storage space. This may not be an issue for most people. The hotel is next to the train station and there is no view. More importantly there are the following issues: 1. Parking. Municipal parking is available but it is not too convenient to the hotel. It is possible to drive to the hotel to load and unload, but it would be a good idea to speak first to the hotel staff, as it is not straightforward and Google maps would not navigate me there. 2. The breakfast is quite good, but also quite expensive. You would be hard pressed to eat 17 euros worth of food. 3. We did not care for the food at the adjoining restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Les chambres sont particulièrement bien agencées, décorées et insonorisėes. La salle d'eau et les toilettes séparées sont très propres et parfaitement équipées, les produits d'accueil de qualité. Le seul bémol les interrupteurs au fonctionnement pas forcément très intuitif. Le personnel à l'accueil agréable et serviable. Le petit déjeuner buffet est complet avec des produits de très bonne qualité. C'est l'un des meilleurs hébergements de notre séjour en Bretagne. L'hôtel n'a pas de parking mais le stationnement à proximité est facile.

Une très jolie expérience dans cet hotel moderne et calme, à proximité immédiate de la gare et à moins de 15 min à pied du centre ville. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil, la disponibilité d'un parking et la chambre, avec sa vaste surface, son design très moderne (même si peu pratique pour poser les vétements sur les cintres). La mise à disposition des informations via tablette est un innovation très pratique. Enfin, nous conseillons vivement le "jeu de piste", très ludique (y compris pour des adultes) et qui permet de découvrir l'hotel et sa déco.

Deuxième séjour à l'Aiden et l'expérience est toujours aussi sublime. Le personnel, que ce soit à l'hôtel ou au restaurant est très serviable et accueillant. Le confort, la décoration des chambres et de l'hôtel permettent un voyage immobile. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et délicieux. Un hôtel à tester absolument à Lorient.

Wir sind aufgrund eines Fußballspiels des örtlichen Vereins im Aiden Hotel abgestiegen. Der Empfang war freundlich - es gibt gibt allerdings keinen Rezeptionsschalter sondern einen Stehtisch und einen Esstisch, an dem die Mitarbeiter arbeiten - ungewöhnlich, aber zweckmäßig. Sowohl der Mitarbeiter beim Check-In als auch der Mitarbeiter beim Check-Out war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, ebenso wie die Reinigungsdamen. Das Auto konnten wir in der öffentlichen Tiefgarage neben dem Hotel (ca. 1 min Fußweg) abstellen - das kostete uns etwa 14 € für die ganze Nacht. Um das Hotel tummeln sich abends komische Gestalten - das Hotel liegt direkt neben einem Bahnhof. Das Frühstück kostete 18 € und ist m. E. zu teuer. Es gab zwar Rührei, Bacon und Würstchen, jedoch war zu wenig Baguette da, die Mineralwasserflaschen waren leer und eine laktosefreie Milch war ebenfalls nicht vorhanden - wir wurden auf die Mandelmilch hingewiesen, die verfügbar war. Das wichtigste Argument, welches für dieses Hotel spricht, ist das Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer im 3. Obergeschoss, welches durch einen Aufzug zu erreichen war. Das Zimmer war vollumfassend digitalisiert und die Beleuchtung, die Klimaanlage u. v. m. konnten durch das Tablett bedient werden. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich, es gab zwei Kopfkissen pro Person und das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Passende Einrichtungsgegenstände und Accessoires rundeten das Gesamtpaket ab. Das Badezimmer war sehr schön und modern eingerichtet. Sollten wir wieder ein Fußballspiel in Lorient besuchen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten.
