Great location. 1 min walk to river; 5 min walk to central area with night market etc. Basic room which was clean and functional. Good value for money. The outside area isn't really used for chilling out as everyone hangs their washing there. Would have been nice to have sat there as it overlooks the street. Quiet enough in the evening as it is far enough from the centre so it feels quite peaceful. Quite an old, authentic building. Creaky floorboards etc. Might not be suitable for someone looking for more comfort, but I thought it was quirky and delightful.

I choose this hotel due to the decoration style and location also now rate is good. Hotel is small but convenient, location is great ; nearby by the river and tourist attractions. Staff service is excellent, all are very helpful with smile. Room is good, clean but wall and ceiling need to touch up. Breakfast is not variety, I prefer to have local foods outside the hotel.

A very enjoyable stay. The villa is conveniently located near the Mekong riverside and within short stroll distance to most major areas of interest in Luang Prabang. Room is spacious and cozy, with a nicely sized bathroom. Reception helps to book trips and services at a lower cost you may not find outside, with pickups at the villa as well (except for, of course, boat rides). Tiny issue was the lack of toothbrush and toothpaste. The rest is provided.

We have just spent 4 fantastic nights at Liberty Place. The owners are so so lovely and friendly, they can’t do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and spacious. We had our breakfast on the balcony outside which was nicely set out and decorated. The location is great right in the centre of Luang Prabang, near to the night markets and not far from the Mekong River. We did not use the bicycles however they are free to use and we used their laundry service which was done very quickly. They helped us with a situation one of our friends were in and helped book a tuk tuk when they were lost near the waterfalls without any transport. They went above and beyond to help get our friends back to their hostel when they had no way of getting back! We booked our train tickets to Vang Vieng through the guesthouse. Great price and extremely helpful. There were also other tickets, tours and trips that could also be booked as well. We would highly recommend Liberty Place for anyone travelling to Luang Prabang and we would certainly stay again.

Mybanlao Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The hospitality was exceptional, with a friendly and attentive staff eager to assist. The rooms were not only comfortable but also tastefully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere. The hotel's amenities, including a well-maintained pool and a delightful restaurant, added to the overall enjoyable experience. Its central location made exploring the local attractions convenient. Excellent Hotel in Luang Prubang,recently refurbished so all the facilities are clean and well presented. Staff at the hotel are extremely helpful. The selection and quality of the Breakfast is good too. Highly recommend this hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at anlan, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding service. It was our first time in Luang Prabang, and we picked Kiridara based on other reviews. Rest-assured, it was a smart choice. The location was great. While not in the center, there is a market super close and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. For the rest the hotel offers a free shuttle which is on call until about 9 pm, and takes you more or less everywhere you need to go. The rooms were clean, nicely layed out and offered everything you need. If something was wrong, it was fixed quickly. The pool was refreshing and offered a great view. The drinks from then pool bar were delicious. The highlight was the breakfast. There was a small, but nice buffet plus a menu. The a la carte menu was the biggest plus. You could pick up to four dishes, each from one category, like eggs, hearty or sweet. Be sure to eat yourself through all the options, while you stay - it‘s worth it! All in all a great stay, and we will come back to Kiridara for sure for our next stay.

The service is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. They provide free transport around the town area and they also offer us free airport shuttle services. The view of the Mekong River is excellent. One thing that can make the entire experience even better would be a better selection of breakfast.

I took a half day emountain bike this morning with 2 other people. I was super excited having paid $75 for it, had high expectations... The bike itself looked fine, however it could not handle steep hills. I asked another guest on the tour to test it as I was really struggling. He said it had no oomph or power on the steeper hills. He too ended up pushing it which he didnt have to do at all on his bike at any point. The others were motoring through pain free and they were older than me. The guide tested and said it was fine. Of course. The climbs were steep and it was exhausting. We never got to stop for photos or admire the scenery and it felt like an endurance test. We were then taken on a hike to some caves but I couldn't manage it after the exertion of getting there. The guide never checked on me and just let me go down alone. There was a van with three men in it (at this point I didn't know they were going to take my bike to the next village). As a solo traveller my first thought is my safety. Here I am waiting (no phone signal) in the middle of nowhere with these three young men there. The woman in my group observed there was 'bedding in the back'. It was unacceptable. I was then deposited I'm a village somewhere (alone) and waited for the others. Please note I am fit, lift weights and play badminton in a league. I have also played semi professional football. I gave them the opportunity to make it right but as ”the guide said it was fine” it clearly was, fine. Breathtaking. I also felt the reply had a degree of judgement in it ”difficulties completing the course” like I'm a 39st unit! There are no managers/decision makers on site. A premium price for a basic product- should have just hired a mountain bike for a tenth of the price. I hate giving bad reviews and if it had cost a bit less then I probably wouldn't but I really think people should know they are rolling the dice with this company. Absolute waste of time and money. Lunch was ok. Avoid. I feel so mugged off.
