The Souphattra hotel in Luang Prabang is a very good hotel. All the staff, miss Noy, mr. Neng, mr. Bounpasirth as front-office manager and the drivers: mr. Khamsay, mr. Ter and mr. Bounthad were very special and friendly. Cleaning was excellent. Breakfast personal was also very good. Thanks for everything. Free bikes, free shuttle and beautiful swimmingpool.

대표님인지 책임자인지는 모르겠으나 너무나도
친절하고 하루종일 부지런하게 돌아다니면서 호텔을
관리해서 그런지 휴지조각 하나 찾아보기 힘들다
볼때마다 불편함이 없는지 물어보며 영어가 능숙하여
의사소통에 문제가 없다
이 호텔의 최고는 수영장이다
1.3M 이라고 적혀있는 깊이에 타일로 마감되어
수질이 깨끗하고 물의 온도가 적당하여 아이들이
좋아 한다
조식은 맛있고 식당은 청결 하다
직원들은 식당내부를 맨발로 다니고 눈이 마주치면
항상 웃어준다
시내 중심가에 간다고 하니 전기카트로 셔틀 해 주고
개방된 전기카트를 타고 로컬를 달리는 재미도 있다
많은 호텔을 경험해 보았으나 최고로써 기억에 남을
호텔이다

I stayed here for one night as part of a larger Lao road trip. Having been constructed in 1937 during the French Colonial period, the building (house number 323), is a UNESCO-protected heritage site. Beautiful local hardwood is used throughout the structure and adds a level of charm that many other accommodations lack. The room was clean, large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The hot water, refrigerator, air-conditioning, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, linen, pillows, towels, etc. were in good condition. I paid $27 USD per night on hotels.com, apparently, the walk-in rate for this same period is $26 USD per night. This is a fair price for this style of budget accommodation. I would stay here again for sure.

Opened in 2023, the Frangipani inn Luang Prabang offers travelers a pleasant stay in Luang Prabang, whether for business or leisure purposes. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Luang Prabang International Airport located approximately 5km away and Luang Prabang Railway Station roughly 12km away. With Royal Palace, MandaLao Elephant Conservation and Haw Pha Bang all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Luang Prabang hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service.

Great location. 1 min walk to river; 5 min walk to central area with night market etc. Basic room which was clean and functional. Good value for money. The outside area isn't really used for chilling out as everyone hangs their washing there. Would have been nice to have sat there as it overlooks the street. Quiet enough in the evening as it is far enough from the centre so it feels quite peaceful. Quite an old, authentic building. Creaky floorboards etc. Might not be suitable for someone looking for more comfort, but I thought it was quirky and delightful.

A very enjoyable stay. The villa is conveniently located near the Mekong riverside and within short stroll distance to most major areas of interest in Luang Prabang. Room is spacious and cozy, with a nicely sized bathroom. Reception helps to book trips and services at a lower cost you may not find outside, with pickups at the villa as well (except for, of course, boat rides).
Tiny issue was the lack of toothbrush and toothpaste. The rest is provided.

I choose this hotel due to the decoration style and location also now rate is good. Hotel is small but convenient, location is great ; nearby by the river and tourist attractions. Staff service is excellent, all are very helpful with smile. Room is good, clean but wall and ceiling need to touch up. Breakfast is not variety, I prefer to have local foods outside the hotel.

加上他家在布吉岛的酒店風評還不錯，
沒有太多猶豫就訂了。
Check in時我們打算包一艘船游湄公河，
值班經理很熱情的詢問需不需要預訂一些食物，
而且可以幫忙布置，
另一位年紀稍長的女士看我掛着相機，
把我帶到了他們的藏酒室，
讓我拍一些照片，
還說可以選一款紅酒帶到船上。
看了MENU以後我們覺得並不是很喜歡，
就表示衹包船就好，
值班經理的態度馬上發生了大轉變。
由於當時房間還沒有準備好，
我們出去溜達了一圈，
回來剛好碰到他熱情洋溢的送走了一羣白人住客，
看到我們回來再次展現戲劇性變臉，
轉頭對前台說“304、305”就走開了，
前台倒是還算熱情，
幫我們把行李送到了房間，
並詳細介紹了房間情況，
這是在這家酒店遇到的第一個不愉快。
由於他家SPA在琅勃拉邦很有名，
在預訂時我訂了含SPA的套餐，
辦理入住時前台並沒有詢問是否需要預約，
之後我想起來與前台預約，
被告知當天已經約滿，
因為第二天我們中午就要離開琅勃拉邦，
便把時間預約到第二天早上9點，
結果當天晚上卻跑來告訴我們，
第二天早上的也滿了，
衹能選擇中午，
這樣我們便沒時間做這個項目，
前台說他的權限無能為力，
我們可以第二天與經理溝通。
第二天退房時我們向經理提出這個問題（原來昨天那位女士就是經理），
她表示可以送我們一瓶紅酒，
感覺她對紅酒真的很有執念，
雖說他家在酒方面的選品還不錯，
但是這個處理並不讓人滿意。
我們說我們不需要這瓶紅酒，
而且我們是兩個房間，
她又提出可以送我們去火車站作為補償。
由於時間比較緊，
不想再做過多糾纏，
衹能同意。
臨走前她還找我要昨天在藏酒室的照片，
原來在這等着呢。
早上吃早餐時，
我們是主動要的餐單，
我們就坐以後旁桌來了兩個白人，
同一個服務員就很熱情的送上菜單，
並且殷勤的問他們今天過的怎麼樣，
那諂媚的表情讓我覺得有點噁心。
那位女經理當時也在餐廳，
上菜時全程麪無表情，
放盤子的聲音還特別響，
這不應該是一個酒店經理人的素質。
總之，
這家酒店舔白很厲害，
看到不少國內住客在他家也有類似的經歷，
發出來讓大家避避坑，
他家的價格和服務非常不匹配，
琅勃拉邦好酒店一大把，
實在沒必要在他家花錢找不痛快。

Although the hotel probably offers about the same as most others in the area and is comfortable enough, this review is affected by several negative aspects. First, the room I reserved and paid for was not the same as the one allocated to me. Reserved a premium double Room allocated was a standard twin. Can only assume the proprietor didn't bother to cofirm that the booking detail natched up with the room provuded. I had forgotten what I had actually paid for and only came to realise it was different after I had unpacked. The specified features of the premium room included a 'private spa', balcony and queen sized bed, all absent. Refrigerator did not work. The room I received was priced about $12 per day less than what I paid for. Free breakfast is included and provided by a separate restaurant on the Mekong (nothing special but OK). Another seemingly minor but annoying aspect was the lack of hot water. No kettle provided but there was a water dispenser with hot water option which also did not work.
The reserved room with balcony was upstairs, however was shunted very quickly upon check-in into a standard twin room situated 3m from the reception desk. Not the end of the world but in hindsight irritating and just took the edge off my stay in Luang Prabang. Overall not too bad but overpriced, especially considering the items absent or malfunctioned.

We stayed for five nights at Mekong Charm hotel. The location was wonderful, right across the street from the river view. We had a room with a balcony that was very nice. The balcony chairs are a bit uncomfortable and the table much to large, but it is still nice. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and bottled water provided. The front desk manager was very kind and always willing to help. Why a 3 star revies and not 4? I struggled with this but we had a couple concerns. One was my shoes were missing the second morning from the area where they want you to leave them. After looking everywhere the desk mgr went and retrieved them from one of the workers. So, if she took my $40 sketcher sandals, could we trust her when cleaning our room? So, we said no housekeeping and we just switched out towels with the desk clerk. We also had our laundry done and it came back clean, but very wet. Not three items were dry. Thankfully we had a balcony and were able to get a clothesline and hang everything up to dry. Pillows are in need of replacement and a king bed needs more than 2 regular sized pillows. Plug-ins, Easter basket and hair dryer handles all need to be cleaned from time to time. For what we paid, we didn’t complain but I did voice my concern about my shoes being taken.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area about a 10 minute car journey from the centre of Luang Prabang with the hotel providing a free shuttle service into town. We arrived after a 20 minute drive from Luang Prabang railway station and were met by the owner Thy (pronounced Tea) who was super host. During checkin we were provided with a cool drink and face towel while we completed all of the admin process. Thy provided us with street maps of the city and loads of local information around places to visit and restaurants and bars to try. Our room was a bungalow with views over the river. Inside were two double beds, storage area for your clothes and a bathroom with toilet sink and an outdoor but covered shower. The rooms were very clean and roomy. There was no safety deposit in the room itself but you were provided a key for your own deposit box in reception. The hotel is set within some lovely well kept gardens, and you have use of a swimming pool at a property across the street from the hotel which provides towels and all free of charge. The room had a nice balcony area with table and chairs which overlooked the river and breakfast was delivered here each morning and a time of your choice. There were a number of choices to pick from for breakfast and you just wrote your choices on a board in reception the night before. Food here was delicious. Thy kindly booked an early morning tuktuk for us so we could visit the daily alm giving ceremony with the local monks in town, and he also arranged a tuktuk for us to visit Kuang Si Waterfalls which are a must visit. We spent 3 lovely nights here and had a wonderful stay. Many thanks to Thy and his team.

Kknoess RichelleThis place is an oasis . The staff are friendly and professional. The room was lovely with a nice balcony. Breakfast served near the lily pond each morning. It is a short walk into town or you can use one of their free bicycles. The grounds are beautifully manicured. And there was a yummy cookie left in our room each evening. You can also book all excursions around the city through the helpful front desk staff.

PPengguna TetamuCheck In Date : 26th August 2022. Check Out Date : 28th August 2022. Room : 07. Location : The villa is located right in the heart of the historic old town Luang Prabang. It is basically located at the very centre of LP peninsula. It is not facing the main road (which is good) but it is located just 45 secs walk from the main road. Just next to the villa, there is a very simple and compact grocery store. within 5 mins, there are cafes, souvenir shops, pharmacy and also very near to the 2 rivers that made up the LP peninsula. Going down the hill, there is the mighty river Mekong, which is very beautiful during sunset. Going uphill which is not steep, there is Nam Khan River. Within 10-15 mins walks, I can reach the Royal Palace, Phousi Hill, Night Market and the morning market. The location is SUPER PERFECT. Reception and Service : We arrived at the city around 9.20am. 26th August 2022 which is a blessing. We didnt know that there is Boat Racing Festival, the city is basically dead congested. The tuktuk driver dopped us at Dara Market and we had to walk all the way to the hotel (3km) with 7kg rucksack on our back. We reached the hotel around 10am. To our surprise, we were told that our room is ready and voila, the reception guy let us go in the room 4 hours early with ZERO charge. The recep made a lot of suggestion and had plenty of topics to talk to us. He suggested us to visit the Boat Racing Festival because it is the last day. So we followed his advice and we got to celebrate it like a local. The festival itself is amazing. The recep always helpful to us and always smile. We feel really welcome. We always get a massive greet whenever we come back to the villa. Room : I remember specifically that I book a deluxe room but we got a triple room. That free upgrade came with ZERO costs to our wallet. The room is spacious. The AC is cold. The fridge is working well. The bathroom is massive, and hot water working perfectly. The mattress is soft and despite the wooden exterior, I felt quiet whenever we enter the room. However, there is no elevator provided. Disable people might have to contact the villa if you want to book so you can request for lower room specifically. And since LP is such a charming little town, most of the hotels in the city are also 2 stories with no elevator for sure. I love the room and the cleanliness. Facility : As per said, there are no elevator and the upper room isnt accessible to people with disability. There is a small front yard where tourists can park motorcycle. Breakfast : People choose breakfast from the menu provided. We only get to try the breakfast once because the second day, we went to Tad Sae around 7am. The noodle soup is delicious and we love the fruit plate. The eating area is small, good for chatting with other travelers. But it is simply kept clean at all time. Sleep Quality : 9.9/10. We had a good first day walking around town, immersing with the locals at the Boat Racing Festivals. We slept like a

They had refreshments already in our rooms which was very convenient and the best part was they can check in our bags, weight, and get the luggage tag being they had connections we Lao Airlines. That was definitely a plus. We didn’t have to rush to try to get in our bag at all and they take you back to the airport and make sure we knew where we needed to go. I would definitely try this hotel to anyone.

It is overlooking the river but also on the roadside so can be a bit noisy.
When we arrived the room wasn't ready and then they gave us a room without a river view which I had paid for. When I questioned this, the receptionist said it doesn't show that room on our system. Finally got them to change us to the correct room.
Bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
They only operate a cook to order breakfast and don't have any menu to look at to order what you want.
I was asked what I wanted....the only choice was an ”American breakfast” so first morning I asked for this without any eggs. I got 3 bits of bread and some jam!
Second day I again asked for American breakfast without eggs and some toast, I got 3 bits of bread and jam.
They gave only the minimum of shower gel both days.
What should be a lovely hotel is rather ruined by poor service.

The room is a bit dark (even though there are some windows, it feels there's not enough natural light), but is well equipped. There's a towel, a bar of soap, a small shampoo sample, and bottled water.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to call a minivan service to pick me up to the railway station.
