I had a lovely stay, which exceeded expectations. Terrific service by everyone at the hotel. I will absolutely stay at the Holiday Inn Lusaka again, and will 100% recommend it to anyone I know who is looking for a place to stay in Lusaka! Thank you for your hospitality!

Best hotel in lusaka!! Enjoyed a wonderful night in the hotel with my girlfriend. The staff was really helpful and caring arranged us a covid test in our room even though the company they mainly use was not able to give our results in time since we had a early flight in the morning and we had a late check in they arranged us another company which let us not miss our flight. The room was super clean and modern. There is a bar/restaurant at the roof floor and a gym thats open 24 hours a day. The food was impressive and basically every detail about the hotel amazed us after struggling to reach lusaka from mazabuka.

From the outside, this hotel looks super boring. However, its consistently priced at bargain levels, the staff are helpful, and the rooms comfortable. Wifi worked well, my room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast buffet had nice variety from day to day. The location is pretty good, just a few minutes walk from multiple shopping malls & dining options. I'd definitely stay here again if I end up in Lusaka.

This place was a great place to stay at. It is located near three big Malls in the area . There are also many hotels in the area and access to public transportation on the main road that goes from the airport to the city center. The staff and management team are good.

Like your previous reviewer, we stayed at the Peacock aroiund mid-July. During an expensive and mediocre dinner, I looked up to see a rat running across the dining room floor, Then another and another. My partner then spotted at least two more making a total FIVE RATS!!! We too asked to discuss this with the Manager but nobody was forthcoming.In any other country this place would be shut down immediately - so I can only guess that the Chinese Owners have being bribing the Health Inspector. This is a really cozy spot minutes away from East park mall/Acacia park. Location is super convenient for catching Yango rides at all times during the day. The staff are very friendly and accommodating - Justin and Theresa were really helpful and communicative! They are understanding of any last minute changes / adjustments to travel plans and are willing to work with you on it! They have a nice store room where you can leave your luggage as you are traveling around the country on short trips. Would definitely go back again!

Hotel has been constructed from 88 shipping containers and is fascinating. Unfortunately it was not busy during our visit and this resulted in sparse staffing and shortages at the complimentary breakfast.

During our family visit to Zambia from London, Lilayi Lodge emerged as a destination of choice, prompted by my sister's enthusiastic commendation. True to her endorsement, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The reservation process was seamless, and the rooms, tastefully appointed and generously sized, surpassed expectations. The impeccably designed bathrooms conveyed a sense of cleanliness and spaciousness. The inclusion of amenities such as tea and coffee facilities, mosquito nets, and reliable Wi-Fi further enriched our stay. The beds proved to be remarkably comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep. Loved the balcony/verandah/sitout area off the room! Culinary offerings during both dinner and breakfast were characterised by a diverse selection of well-prepared dishes. Regrettably, our brief one-night stay did not afford us the opportunity to partake in the offered activities. Nevertheless, the courteous, professional, and helpful demeanor of the staff left a lasting impression. I would like to suggest the introduction of a traditional Afternoon Tea service, complete with sandwiches and scones, as an enhancement to the overall guest experience. In comparison to numerous international hotels and safari lodges I have frequented, Lilayi Lodge has earned its place within my top 7. I anticipate a return visit to further indulge in the quality offerings of this distinguished establishment.
