Smartflats - New Yorker

Our experience was honestly terrible. We booked this as a last minute necessity and I regret not spending a little more money somewhere nicer. We were given the wrong code to retrieve our key from the lockbox. The front door was falling off its hinges and once we entered, the opposite side of the door handle was on the floor. Needless to say we didn’t feel safe staying here. Had to barricade the door to feel semi-ok spending a few hours here. The floors were dirty and there was a pee stain on the comforter on the pullout bed, along with another pee stain on the couch cushion. On the main bed, the sheets were lackluster with a towel-like material and a “fitted” sheet that wasn’t fitted nor covering the entirety of the bed. Plus, there was hair and dirt on the bed. There was only two bath towels for four of us. The shower door also did not seal properly so water would pool in the bathroom. There was also no extra blankets anywhere in the unit. At least the help number was accessible? Only plus.

Having stayed here last year I decided to go back knowing the it was a good stay… however this time it was awful. Most of the facilities were missing, the lift does not work so you have to carry all your bags up the stairs. Microwave does not work, not enough plates, cups, pans etc for a family of 5. Missing bedding, towels, hairdryer and light bulbs! Dirty communal areas, homeless person in between doorway 1 -2! Doors would not close on ground floor. Other residents so loud and disrespectful knocking on all doors at 2am and ringing door bells. Couldn’t sleep at all! Would not stay again. Asked for a refund as I reported several issues whilst I stayed to be told they disagreed even with screen shots of all conversations with Smartflats team, complete lack of customer service. Not worth the stay!

Elevator not working. Garage door not working. Window blinds not working. The place has not been well cleaned in a while.

We never got confirmation until reaching out day of check in. The elevator was not working. Faucet handle was falling off. Tv had no stations and no chrome cast available or streaming available.

The apar**ent was spacious. The balcony could be cleaner.

Extremely poor service. The bad: * They did not send me the code required to actually enter the building - had to ask another resident to give it to us. * The external blinds on the windows did not work. Terrace could not be accessed because the blind was stuck in closed position. Living room (where sofa bed was) could not be made dark because the blind was stuck open. * Poor state of repair - handle coming off window, cracks in glass. * Internal downstairs door to building malfunctioned - my group and other residents stuck outside until we were able to force it open. * On arrival, no one had bothered to empty the dishwasher * External downstairs door did not lock and there was a man sleeping in the foyer of the building * My email to Smartflats about the above went unanswered. The good: * It was clean

Immeuble datant d'1 an avec de beaux matériaux mais pas entretenu. Les communs sont très sales et il y a un manque d'entretien dans les appartements. Aussi, pas de personnel d'accueil et nous avons passé 1h dehors à appeler pour avoir les codes d'accès non reçus par mail. Malgré tout, séjour correct.

Sejour comploque reservation en ligne a faire 48h avant mais pas informé. Le code la porte entree netant pas indiqué. Le responsable des lieux me donne le.code mais sinon personne. L'appartement est conforme mais tres sale miroir cassé. Des taches sur les draps et des poils dans le lit. La tv na aucune chaine en français.
