Hotel dengan Sarapan pagi di Lucerne

Rooms are small but worth it for the location. Practically next to the train station but without any of the noise. Front desk folks were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was also great.

The location is good, it closed the lion monument and walkable distance to the lake. The room is very cold the heated is not really working as it is control by the city government, hence you should bring your own heated blanket if you come during winter. The breakfast is the same for 5 days, and the free flow of drink and ice cream is good

Excellent location and a decent & clean hotel indeed. Friendly & helpful staff. Will be my choice again if visiting Luzern again.

Six of us stayed for two nights in three rooms and had a comfortable, if somewhat hot stay as there was no air con although there was a small table fan. The rooms were basic but, even though two were at the front, were quiet and they were clean. Breakfast was ok, good espresso from the machine. Great central location with an easy walk to the station.

Don't be fooled by the gorgeous exterior photo of this hotel. There is no grand lobby to speak of that you would expect to match the building facade. Rather there is no lobby!!! As you enter the building there is a Starbucks to the left and a Covid testing facility to the right with people in line waiting to get tested that you need to walk by. Around a corridor you will find the reception - and that is where the bad part of this report starts. We had booked a Deluxe Design Suite and when we checked in that is was the room type written on our reservation card. We got our room key and walked back by the covid testing line and waited amongst them for the elevator. Up to our room and no special area of hotel as promised, no shower in room - just a tub with no curtain, no double sink, no electric blinds, and a room less than half the size as advertised. We go back down to the lobby and told them that the room was not the one we booked. They argued with us that it was indeed what we booked despite it missing the features and size they advertised. They had the nerve to say to us ”.......we didn't know having a shower was a criteria for you......”. They said they had no other rooms and offered us nothing in compensation other than we could switch rooms the next day. We went back to the room contemplating whether we would try and find another hotel and after a few minutes the front desk called and said another room had come available. A different clerk brings us a new key and shows us to a different room in the ”special” area of hotel - same hallway except you needed to use your key to access a door blocking the hallway to an identical hall - nothing special here like having a concierge lounge etc etc. This new room was closer to what we booked so we accepted it. We stayed four nights and everything was ok except they did not replenish the bottled water each day - told us 2 one litre bottles per stay not per night. I would not have written a review except fir what happened upon check-out. A manager checked us out and asked how our stay was and our response was fine after they got our room sorted out. She looked at the reservation and said well the room you booked was what you were originally placed in and then proceeded to argue with us that there was no difference between the rooms and that not all Deluxe Design Suites come with a shower. Rather than argue with her we walked out pissed off at them once again.

The Radisson is steps from the train station and is very close to Lake Lucerne. I had not signed up for the rewards program and the kind gentleman at check in signed me up. I arrived early in the am and was able to store my luggage for check in later. The rooms are clean, modern and basic. They have AC , a refrigerator, n espresso machine, hair dryer, bathtub and shower combo and big bottles of toiletries to use. The flooring is a mixture of carpeting and faux hard wood. My room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. I did not get a chance to try out the gym or restaurant because I left so early each day. I also noticed that this hotel was used by Viking cruise groups. I enjoyed my stay and found it all to be within walking distance.

The hotel is very conveniently located and has an old world charm to it - which means that if you are staying in the historic wing, the floors may creak, lighting might be dimmer than is norm, and rooms and baths may look dated. We also heard chimimg bells from a watch tower close by a couple of times at night. However, we didn't mind any of these minor inconveniences much as we were staying for just a night and actually enjoyed the overall experience. Though the housekeeping and cleanliness in the bathrooms could be a bit better - we found a few amenities missing (like just 1 pair of bathroom slippers for a room with 2 guests, opened packs of vanity kits that might have been used by the previous guests and hadn't been replaced with new ones etc). But, the location and service, especially from Ms. Flavia amacher, was amazing. She was very helpful, kind and accommodating. She truly extended the swiss hospitality and made us feel very welcome. The other lady at the reception, apologies we didn't get her name, who helped us leave our luggage at the reception in the morning, was extremely nice too and even had our bags sent to our rooms. All in all, we would come back here for the amazing service, the old world charm, and the prime location.

Why score is low is only due to behaviour for the staff at the brake fast. Not been taught how to be kind and courteous to elderly people . Maybe she behave the same to her own parents .

I was really excited to start travelling after 2 years hiatus. I chose Switzerland as I had already made plans for the a 3 weeks trip in May 2020. I had to cancel it due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I picked Alpina Hotel in Luzerne due to its great loation and affordability. It is near many eateries and other attractions. I booked 2 rooms; 338 and 339. We get to enjoy the street view and marvelled at the beautiful building opposite our rooms. I noticed that the opposite building was built in 1537 [ need to confirm this ]. The street was generally quiet except in the mornings when rubbish trucks cleared did their cleaning. The room has simple layout and mine has 2 sinks in the living area. The bed and pillows area are comfortable. The bathroom is small but all items worked well. I did not see any staff at Alpina as most of them were based at the nearby sister hotel, The Monopol, which is located about 20m away. Checking in was fast and easy and it was done at Monopol. I was grateful for all the guidance and assistance provided by the receptionist. Alpina hotel is located about 110m away from Luzerne Train Station and it was relatively easy to find. My room ; 339 is bigger than 338. All in all, I had a really great experience staying in this hotel.

Overall it was a decent place to stay at purely for it's location as it's a 5 minute walk from the main station. The lobby is really new and modern but the rooms and toilet are a tad old. However, I must commend the staff who really went out of the way to make our stay special as it was our honeymoon and they gave us chocolates and rose petals. Thank you so much!
