This hotel started off great, then it slowly became just bad.
We decided to take my child swimming, the demanded we pay for his swimming cap, that’s no issue, I simply asked, can you give him the cap now and either charge my room or I’ll go upstairs to get money, and bring right back.
They refused, and demanded I give them money now.
Next according to the hotel policy, if a child is swimming, there must be parental supervision, which hotel management clarified later does not mean the parents has to swim, but merely watching is ok. The swimming pool staff shooed my wife away like a dog saying he can’t swim there unless a parent swims with him, and screamed at my wife.
Third thing, my wife and child were sleeping, I wanted to watch a movie, the lobby was too loud so I sat on the floor next to the elevator, near no rooms(most hotels have a small table and chairs there) I was making no noise and bothering no one, the staff confirmed it was perfectly fine, but another staff member came up and told me it’s against hotel policy to sit there, I got up and asked him to come downstairs and show me where that policy is written or posted anywhere, when we go to the lobby he ran away and disappeared.
Other than that, the hotel room was clean, location was great, the majority of staff were super friendly.
