Terrific centralized location between several northern suburbs. Very clean. Good breakfast. Good amenities. Have stayed here several times and may do so again. However, there are a few flaws. The windows are so poorly insulated that it was hard to keep the room warm - had to draw the shades and run the heater almost continuously, and still felt a cold breeze flowing constantly through the room. The bathroom water pressure is fairly low. In the morning, the housekeeper starts knocking on all the doors down the hallway at 9am, with no regard to checkout status. Why?!?! I cannot understand how, in year 2022, the housekeeping staff cannot be informed about which rooms are vacated versus still occupied. Why must they blindly knock on every door early in the morning and wake up everyone on the floor? It feels like they are trying to run you out of the hotel hours before actual check-out time.

This place wasn't to bad for the price but room the bathroom was discussing and when we asked for cleaning products was told had nothing..we used our shampoo to clean it..no towels or hand soap ...was not happy also no breakfast wich was included..also had to pay security deposit and wasn't aware almost didn't rent out room also told it would be put back on my card immediately..nope 3-4buisnes days..very dissatisfied

Absolutely horrible. We requested a jacuzzi king bed through Expedia from June 11th-13th, but for some odd reason the guy gave us the wrong room at first. He gave us the jacuzzi king finally and then we went to our room. We paid with two cards and then cash. I understand if that may confuse them, but don't accept multiple forms of payment if you can't handle it. Everything seems fine. Then the next day, the maid was really trying to clean the room but we were sleeping, so she left. Few minutes later we received a call from front desk saying we owe them more money. It was $105.99 per night, according to Expedia, plus fees, so $237. We only paid $195-96 total at front desk, so I went to pay the rest. We get back from an event at midnight, then the other employee calls us again, was extremely rude and disrespectful. I told him we paid $195 plus the $37. He calls me a liar, demands his money or leave or he calls the police. We just left, because since we didn't have receipts to prove it, we decided not to fight it.

OUR STAY WAS VERY UNPLEASANT. TRIED to book a late arrival it took four unsuccessful tries before I could speak to the hotel. My accommodations upon entering the room felt like a Sauna, and the non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke. No amenities as promised. If you needed clean towels you have to take your dirty towels to front desk to get clean ones. Woke up in the middle of the night with the ceiling leaking over my bed at 11:30 pm, was told from front desk personnel this has happened before. The process of moving to the replacement room was very uncomfortable: Had to go down to lobby to pick up the replacement room key. Was told that we had to pack up and be out of the original room in 20 minutes so the ceiling could be checked. Had to pack very quickly and take our belongings to the replacement on the other side of the hotel. With no assistance from management. Arriving at the replacement room we found the door was left open and dirty towels were in the bathroom. The Baymont by Wyndham in Madison Heights, Michigan is not a hotel I would recommend to anyone.
