This hotel is really a bargain for how nice it is. I found the service to be impeccable, breakfast buffet was incredible and the location is right in front of a metro station. A bonus is the contemporary art collection which reminds you that you are in Madrid and not just any nameless, nice hotel. I love the schluter brass detailing in the bathroom and bedroom walls. These design touches add such gravitas to a stay, even when short. Bravo, I would stay here again.

My staying in this hotel was beautiful. Location is very good, service is excellent. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern, very clean, breakfast is very good too. All foods was fresh and tasty. But only one question: why spa is available for additional charge in such level of hotel? But in general I'm satisfied and come back to this hotel with pleasure.

We have chosen this hotel for our Autovista Technology Conference 2023 with 130 delegates. All worked perfectly, The organizational team was on top of all activities. Rooms very clean, service excellent l, friendly and supportive. Food for breakfast, lunch and gala dinner was high quality. The plenary room was big enough, a lot of natural light by big windows. All technical equipment and network worked perfectly. I can recommend this hotel for business events and private trips without doubts.

Saya memesan tanpa sarapan. Tetapi mendapat harga ini mengejutkan meja depan hotel. Kerana lebih murah dari laman web rasmi hotel. Dan ia dipesan di tempat. Ctrip boleh. Hotel ini memberi kami bilik yang besar dan kami cukup berpuas hati. Pelayan sangat bersemangat. Lokasi hotel ini sangat bagus. Terdapat banyak restoran di sekitarnya, termasuk restoran ramen Jepun dan restoran periuk panas Sichuan. Stesen kereta api bawah tanah tidak mahu. Berjalan sebentar dan anda akan melihat istana.

The hotel is in a very central location at Gran Via (main shopping street). Metro station is just a few meters away. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are quite big. There is also a nice rooftop bar with good cocktails. Due to the location the hotel is great for a weekend trip to Madrid. I would definitely stay there again.

We got an awesome room, great location and super Fun pool. It’s super popular with the Instagram crowd and they cater a bit to them. But everyone is super nice and friendly, treated our kids lovingly although they accidentally threw away our baby’s lovie and couldn’t find it later which super sucked. The bathroom flooded because it was so full of hair from previous guests, kind of gross. Got an absolutely terrible night sleep because you can hear every single Thing in the hotel from next door to above you. They seemed to be vacuuming rooms at 1:00AM above us and moving furniture which was super loud. Food was great, service was excellent but alot of snotty people.

I spent a few days in this hotel. The welcome was not really ” warm” (contrary to the weather). I think this is kind of an issue for me. I'd rather be in a hotel in which personnel is really friendly (and be in a mediocre room) than a hotel with people that are not really interested in their client. The room was comfortable and very good. Breakfast was served in a room that wasn't very interesting too. So...... great location, if you don't expect much welcome her you'll be in the right place. For me I'd say: step up and show some interest in your client (and having travelled to 100+ (probably even 200+?) hotels in the world, I can have an opinion about the matter.

Like in other reviews, the main pro about this hotel is location. Very convenient for metro and bus access, and within reasonable walking distance to the Palacio Real. However, that’s about the only reason to book this hotel. The Front Desk staff was rude, unaccommodating, and just plain wrong. He insisted that the room was not suitable for two when the booking and rate type, both in my confirmation email and in the IHG app, clearly showed “SLEEPS 2.” When I asked if it’s a twin bed in the room, he said no it’s a queen. So I asked what’s the problem then? As we were getting our keys he then said by the way breakfast would normally be for one but in this case I give you guys the second breakfast free. As if he were trying to come across as doing us a favor, when I know for a fact that the rate I booked included breakfast for up to two guests. Our best guess is this person was ********** (it was myself and my ******** partner) and couldn’t stand the idea of us being in this room together. This is also all without so much as even acknowledging my loyalty (Gold) with IHG. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses with considerably more welcoming staff than this man (won’t name him by name unless IHG reaches out) displayed at this property. Stay at this property for the location but don’t pay anything more than 60€ per night. Anything more than that is a rip off. And don’t expect to be given a warm welcome by this particular front desk person. There was another person - a woman - working the front desk but our interactions with her were unfortunately limited. Perhaps the experience would have been better if we had been welcomed by her as she was considerably more pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel for our first trip to Madrid, it was the perfect choice. It is located within the main part of Gran Via and is next door to Zara, Mango, H&M and opposite Uniqlo. It’s within walking distance to many restaurants, the metro and the sights. We booked a rooftop view room and it did not disappoint, stunning view and very quiet. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The sink and shower are in the bedroom, the toilet is separate. We really valued the free soft drinks in the room every day, great touch. The wardrobe was also a good size. The TV in the room did not have many English channels but it allowed you to mirror your phone content. Really easy to use. The staff were all super friendly and all spoke English. When we checked in we were given free tote bags and vouchers for two free alcoholic drinks at the bar. The bar area is beautiful and doubles up as the breakfast area on a morning. It’s modern and clean and has a balcony if you want to sit outside. The rooftop bar is also gorgeous and has great view. We ate breakfast at the hotel for €14 each. It had lots of choice with everything from cereals, range of breads, cooked breakfast, fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, juices and danish pastries. We walked past many hotels during our trip and it really did feel like this hotel is in THE perfect location. Highly recommended, don’t hesitate to book.

Great location. Walking distance to many cafes and restaurants. We were surprised to learn that the hotel exterior was undergoing a renovation. We checked in our room at 4pm and could hear knocking and hacking on the wall. Thankfully we were just using the room to rest at night. Most of the daytime were spent exploring the city. It would be informative if the hotel inform the guests about the renovation but it is okay for us because we were out.

スペイン広場の近くでの仕事だったので、立地は良かったと思います。部屋も４つ星ホテルとしてはベッドの幅がやや狭いほかは、まあこれくらいといったところでしょうか。ただ、１泊１万５千円近い割には２階の内側で、窓の外は目の前に倉庫があって窓を開ける気にはなれず、階数と面積から考えて、おそらく館内で最安の部屋で、あまりお得感はなかったように思います。チェックイン時にネットの接続方法や朝食の案内もなく、やや不親切な感じでした。朝食は、ハム、チーズ、スペインオムレツ、マフィンやドーナッツなど、それなりに多彩でしたが、全体に料理は塩味が強いものが多く、口に合わない人もいるかもしれません。６泊したのですが、最後はさすがにやや飽きてきました。部屋の掃除も問題はなかったのですが、１日だけ窓が開け放たれ、ベッドメイキングが途中のような感じになっていました。４つ星ホテルとしてはどうかな、という感じです。窓が開いていると、外の倉庫から部屋にも入れそうだったので、幸いその日は早めに帰ってきたので良かったのですが、気になりました。全体としてはそれなりに満足はできましたが、二度と泊まるかどうかは微妙な感じです。

I spent 6 nights at Espahotel Plaza de Espana in May 2022 and had an amazing time there. I would highly recommend the hotel. Positives: -Very friendly and helpful staff -I was upgraded to a suite on arrival. This was in a part of the hotel that had been refurbished recently. The room was superb. Everything new, great bed, large bathroom, good kitchen, furniture, everything -The hotel is about a 30 second walk from the Plaza de Espana metro station which is super convenient -There are many nice bars and restaurants closeby, including several interesting sights and the Gran Via street Negatives: -The airconditioning unit in my bedroom was a bit noisy at night so I switched it off when I was sleeping. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel
