Fergus Club Mallorca Waterpark

Not sure where to start but our experience was disappointing. 1. This is far from a 4 stars hotel, max 3 stars. 2. The BIG issue we had was the door. As I read before ( more customers had the same) our door did not shut completly. Was very hard to sleep in the 1st room and our son was woke up each morning by the noise in the hollway( and he is a good sleeper). The ballcony could do with a clothes dryer as I noticed some of them had one. 3. This is sold as newly refurbished hotel but apart of new paint in the rooms everything is very aged. The bathrooms are mouldy and we payed extra to be in Magnus. Every time someone was doing a shower on the room above us, our bathroom become flooded. This is a big Health&Safety issue. 4. Yes, the pools are nice with option for all ages but around them is very dangerous, very slippery, saw so many people injured around them. The tiles are slippery everywhere, in the rooms and around the hotel as well. 5. Food was average( either not cooked properly, either to cooked) and we had Magnus. The only advantage to be Magnus was that breakfast and dinner was quieter as not as busy. 6. We did not used the kids club so canot comment on it but the mini disco was nice and kids seem to enjoy it. 7. The bar was way to small for the amount of people to be served. If you do consider this hotel please think twice as the marketing is missleading and we will complain with the agency that we booked true.

After reading some reviews I was concerned but on the whole our experience was good! Food was plentiful and varied, we never went hungry. I can’t understand some of the reviews, I suppose you can’t please everyone but some are really unfair! There was something for everyone and Breakfast was a particular highlight. The room was clean and spacious and housekeeping came everyday, delivering fresh towels- no complaints. The entertainment was the only downside, it was particularly poor and some of the advertised activities didn’t go ahead. This really needs to improve for 2025. Staff were friendly and hardworking, always stopping to say hello and smile. The location of the hotel is brilliant! It’s a five minute walk to a lovely beach and there are lots of bars shops etc on the doorstep. Overall I would recommend and return. Just need a tweak of the entertainment and a couple more staff of the bar in the evening to cut queues. Thanks to the team at Fergus water park for a great week.

Lovely hotel with good facilities, but unfortunately all around including food is made for brits. It is a shame as it would make a lovely family hotel. No choice of bread, no choices for intolerances, lots of chips, burgers, tourists too loud.. Dinners were nice, variety of food. We were struggling with breakfast as there were only 2 types of cereals, no nuts, seeds or dried fruit. Literally not much dairy free. Staff was nice, otherwise no issues. Magaluf in October was very quiet, lots of shops were already closed, beach isn’t too far away, so easy access.

Staff friendly and kind. I loved the food I got Mediterranean healthy food kids got the food kids liked. Bar staff brilliant. good areas by pool. Sea not far away. I would love to come again. The hotel room was very clean and big enough and came with equipment needed and worked and lovely balcony.

Hotel is in need of major repairs and more staff pool areas and sunbeds areas are never cleaned, food, concrete, peeling paint, missing, broken and loose tiles everywhere inside the pool. I have been here a week and it has never been cleaned the same food is on the ground from 4 days ago. I travel 5 times a year and this is definitely not a 4 star there is potential but so much is needed to bring the hotel up to standards. It is unsafe which is my main concern. the ground is filthy and everywhere is broken. I have sat by the wave pool all week and have witnessed 50 people fall mostly children because the ground is so unsafe. Some treatment for their fall. They leave signs to say floor is slippery but it's the terrain that is the problem. (See images) The rooms are basic but ok. The cleaner for the bedrooms are brilliant that is one plus but heard from other people that their room was cleaned once the whole week. The food is horrendous the worst I've ever came across I came open minded and ignored the bad reviews but it was awful. It's the same thing every day same for lunch and dinner they add one thing on for dinner do if you don't like it your screwed. The all inclusive drinks are rubbish too. The machines are broken most of the time or closed. Reception staff are nice and accommodating. Bar staff one young man in particular has zero people skills. And will click his fingers to get your attention. The reception toilets smell like something from a nightclub as they are cleaned once. Honestly I would never return. This hotel needs drastic safety measures put in place before someone is seriously hurt.

me my wife and 2 kids kids stayed here early October 2024 for 10 nights. On first Impressions it looked good. Check in was quick and staff were helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean, nice balcony view. Pools were lovely and clean, kids loved them. So did we. Food was good, always filled up,plenty of choice even for fussy ones. Location is good as close to beach, shops and only a quick bus journey away to palmanova. Entertainment was good, the entertainment staff were just amazing. Gabrielle. Julian and jessica were so good with the kids. Our little girl got on so well with Gabrielle and he was fantastic with her. You are all a credit to the fergus hotel. Marco and sadie on the bar were always happy and 😃 when you went for a drink. Were back in 2025 so keep up the good work and see you all soon.
