Hotel berhampiran Maryam Masjid, Mahboula

After a search lasting months, it was clear that my first ever trip to Kuwait would be at Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kuwait, where price and encouragement to book were concerned. Whilst the Hotel does not offer views of the Kuwait Towers, a short stroll left of the entrance, into the carpark and you may see Kuwait's Global Icon in all it's glory. The rooms are smart,clean and comfortable but be warned that the hotel offers smoking rooms. Please ensure you are aware of this. The Breakfast Buffet was very delicious and filling. The Staff are all lovely and friendly namely Mostafa,Gunneswaran,Mofeed,Jovelyn,Natalio,Wilmalyn,Rich Ann, Prateek,Arvic. Located in the financial district of Sharq, the views from the room include the massive Skyscrapers Al Hamra and NBK's Headquarters. The hotel has superfast WiFi, pleasant free toiletries and a team dedicated to making your stay great. I was fortunate to meet the owner Mr Fahad who made me feel very welcome. From Kuwait International, the hotel is a 15 minute drive by private car or Careem Taxi. The location itself is around the same distance/time from key attractions including the luxurious Avenues Mall. There is a small convenience store directly behind the hotel but note it is cash only. The Talabat (food delivery app) Driver on two occasions seemed to get the location wrong and ended up at the Swiss Bellin behind the hotel, so please ensure you are clear about your location. The Talabat Drivers do bring the food order direct to your room or leave it at reception for the hotel staff to bring upstairs. The Reception Staff don't seem to have a standard uniform but this does not deflect the great service and a public computer is in the lobby along with printing facilities. Free newspapers, in room tea/coffee/water bottles and a delightful rooftop bar ( non alcoholic in line with Kuwait being alcohol free ) complete the line up of features.

15 min walk into the city, 10 min walk to corniche, lots of restaurants and food options within 5 mins. 15 mins from airport with no traffic. Rooms dated but clean, hot showers, comfy beds.

فندق ممتاز غرفه واسعه الإفطار متنوع و لذيذ العائله استمتعت كثيرا نظافه عاليه خدمة سريعه يعتبر من الفنادق المميزه بالكويت هادئ جدا موظفين لطيفين يوجد غرف تدخين للمدخنين لم تكن تجربتي الأولى و ليست الأخيرة ولكن سعره مرتفع جدا جدا و مقارنه بسعره بالماضي فإن السعر ارتفع بحوالي ٥٠%

Overall a great stay. The room was a good size, clean and with a small view of the water. TV has youtube and netflix loaded on it which was a nice perk. Good tea selection in the room and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The pool is locked for the winter. There is a beautiful park close by which is great for relaxing and also it is walkable distance to the beach.

I’ve been going to hotels in kuwait for 10 years and never faced this! 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗!! It’s my best experience at an ibis hotel. From the kindness of the staff to the hotel facilities, which were impeccable. I congratulate the reception staff, especially Mr. Mahmoud, who, from the moment he received me, treated me with great kindness and he was ready to help with whatever I needed. Congratulations for all! I do recommend Ibis Sharq in Kuwait!

Although I have already reviewed this hotel during my previous visit but this hotel and its staff deserves another one. The hotel staff goes extra mile in everything they do. During my this trip, the restaurant where I normally have dinner had a special seafood night and I don’t eat that. Imran, the staff at reception made sure that I get my meal as per my preference and arranged it at another restaurant. Also, hotel is a destination in itself in Kuwait as it has multiple fine restaurants. Will definitely keep coming back for their hospitality
