Just missed the mark for me. Short of towels. No little extras in the bathroom ...The breakfast was the most basic that I've ever had in a Hotel of this calibre. The cake was lovely but do you need full table of it ... ? Three tiny pieces of fruit on offer IF you ask for it.. table service was slow... and there were eggs and more eggs to choose or not choose from... I think that all customers should be catered for. Staff were polite. The location was great, but that was about the greatest plus point.

This is an outstanding hotel in the centre of Mahon which has truly taken the time to create an inviting, comfortable and modern place to stay. The entire team of staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, with huge attention to detail. The beds were comfortable, the shower was powerful and the room was tastefully decorated, if slightly on the small side. We will be back!

Stayed for 7 nights in June/July. We travelled with two friends so each couple had a standard double room. We were met by the manager of the hotel Pacqui who greeted us like long lost friends- she was on hand at various times during the holiday but all reception staff were friendly and helpful. We had arrived before check in time so the hotel stored our bags and then text us when the rooms were ready- about 2pm. The standard double rooms are small but facilities were good- tv ( bbc news ), a safe, air conditioning, fridge, lovely towels ( changed as often as you would like), nice bed linen, all Molton Brown toiletries - hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner . Small points - the window didn’t open and the wardrobe space didn’t allow us to hang up dresses or shirts - but this is an old building so they work with what they can. We used hooks ( and a picture rail) for our clothes…. We had breakfast included and this was just lovely- offered different teas/coffee, pastries, cakes, toast. Then a menu for a variety of other dishes- scrambled eggs, omelettes, toast with a variety of topping ( recommend the sobrasada and Mahon cheese with honey!) staff were very friendly and efficient. We stayed in the adjoining part of the hotel - there is a lift . The hotel is situated perfectly by the cathedral and square. Would highly recommend for a stay in Mahon.

We arrived for a 5 night night stay rather early at noon but our "superior deluxe" room was ready and waiting and was such a contrast to our previous Hotel. Plenty of space in the bedroom area, a small lounge, and a perfectly fitted out bathroom with plenty of storage. We smugly thought our bathroom at home was good but this was better! All the staff were delightful from the reception staff, to the young lady who served us our lovely breakfast each day, to Monica and her colleague who looked after our room so well. The attention to detail both in the design of the Hotel, the fittings and how they were fitted (particularly noticeable in the breakfast room), and the little touches in the room stood out. A brilliant perfectly situated Hotel!

This is the second time we have stayed here and it was as good as I remembered. The rooms are all slightly different so make sure you book the one that’s right for you. We got a top floor room in the main building facing the street. There was no street noise at all and the room was a great size, and lovely and clean. The hotel provides you with bottled water and all the good quality toiletries that you need. This time we went bed and breakfast. Breakfast is served in the basement which is very architecturally interesting with stone walls. The staff are lovely and you can order however much you want from the menu. We were little piggies and got a toastie, an omelette and croissants each day. It was so nice it was hard to resist! The location is absolutely perfect - seconds away from the main square with our two favourite bars in. Perfect city hotel.

The location is great but I was expected something cleaner. I found 2 cockroaches and the room quality was not close to the ones promoted in the photos. The staff is great but the price is expensive compared to the experience. I got charged €3 for a towel. The bakery in front is really good.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, always smiling. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and centrally located. We loved our breakfasts each morning and the spa experience was so relaxing. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return!

After checking into - and then rapidly checking OUT of - an Airbnb from hell, we went into panic mode and I literally Googled ‘nearest hotel’ and up popped this one. And talk about serendipity! For less than £100 more, we swapped a smelly, disgusting apartment for a beautiful, spotlessly clean little gem of a place. I basically ran in begging for a room after a horrendous experience and by chance there was a wonderful suite free. It had a small living area with a comfy sofa and large TV. Molton Brown toiletries, crisp white linens, pristine towels. The staff were brilliant and friendly and it’s literally steps away from restaurants and bars. Perfect hotel

Terrible experience. * There is no mobile coverage. * The land line at the room doesn’t work. Not even to communicate with the front desk. * They have two separate buildings. So, if you need anything (since it’s imposible to communicate with the lobby), you have to actually cross the street and go in person. * The front staff are zero cooperative. The lady at the front desk couldn’t help us in any way we needed…. They asked to call them ahead of check in day to give them an approximate arrival time, and instead of saying don’t come before check in time, they said sure, you can come earlier (noon). Showed up at that time, and they gave us the room at 4PM. * The breakfast is at the basement. No windows, no views. I wouldn’t say great breakfast. * For a €250 a night, this hotel falls short in every single aspect. They are more like a budget backpacker’s hotel.

We cannot recommend this Boutique hotel enough. Beautiful, peaceful, calm to say it is central Maó. Perfect for our 20th Wedding anniversary. The attention to detail is better than many 5* hotels we've visited. We will definitely return.

Hôtel très bien placé et idéal pour une nuit en plein centre de Mahón. Hôtel et chambre moins flamboyants que sur les photos. Dommage que la Chambre attribuée ait été sur 2 niveaux sans nous demander si cela nous convenait. Et sans possibilité de changement.

Acceuil agréable, chambre agréable et confortable. Très bien situé au centre de Mahon. Idéal pour visiter et profite de cette jolie ville qui regorge d'endroits super sympa. Nous n'avons pas pu tester le petit-déjeuner, notre avion décollant trop tôt 😪

Perfecto! Habitación muy amplia y bonita. Cama muy comoda, baño muy grande. Nos trataron super bien, ya que ibamos con un bebe y nos dieron la habitacion suite a pie de calle, desayuno buenísimo, personal muy simpatico y amable, nos dejaron guardar las maletas el último dia.
